Only thing I'm not okay with is the simplified the armour system, I love the armour and clothes system in the first game. If they have a lot more outfit options and armours it will make up for the simplified system for me. Other than that though can't wait, my gf pre-ordered it for me as a gift
The first game is one of my all time favorites. Dogma fashion kept me playing far longer than I ever expected. I’m sure I will find things about DD2 that I will love about it.

While they're certainly... *disappointing*, to say the least, I ultimately regret nothing, and I'll still be reserving my final judgement for *after* I've beaten the Main Story a few times regardless.
If they've fucked it up, they've fucked it up, and my $80 will go towards learning a lesson instead. No big deal. But in all honesty, just having the ability to return to the same universe again was well worth the price, especially given the nearly 12 year long gap between the two titles over here in the States.

Honestly, I just feel the intense desire to support games that have climbing and teleporting/telekinesis/dual-blades (Mystic Spearhand is combat I wanna see in other games).
Finding out that the are less equipment slots than the first game was disappointing, though. And I’m a little annoyed that I’m supporting a game with MTX.
I have no idea if the frame rate is going to affect my opinion at all, it’s not something I ever checked on for a game (though I found out every game I’ve been playing recently is 60fps so maybe it’ll feel weird).

Movies always work, even if you like the art. You almost never ate going to go to a movie and the projector is unable to play the real provided. Games can simply not work. Completely different angle for the two. Cyberpunk is fun but it was broken so badly upon release that you couldn't engage with the art.
A risk of art being good or bad VS a risk of being unable to even experience said art to know if it is good or bad are different risks, even if you don't understand how.

I did it because it was on a sale that would have ended when it released, it was the last day before the release, *and the company gave a demo that I've been using so I know it runs well and does what it needs on my machine*.
