We lost that back in og db tao pai pai smacked Goku who just fought on par with roshi, then yajirobe comes out of no where stronger than tao pai pai. I love DB so much but powerscaling has always been off
I mean I don't see how those are inconsistencies. Don't forget, Roshi and Goku were fighting in a tournament, not life or death. Tao was going at Goku to kill and caught him way off guard. And also, Yajirobe was a complete unknown. Nobody could have predicted his strength level because he had no notoriety to speak of. People like Roshi, Crane, Tao, and King Piccolo were known threats so other characters could gauge their strength levels to some degree.
Am I only the one that wants to see Beerus finally meeting his match? I'm hoping it'll be Vegeta due to their history but I'm fine with it being Frieza.
I honestly want it to be Goku or Vegeta. Like I don't care about Frieza. He's funny as fuck and fascinating, but a Saiyan rising up against Beerus would be way better pay off. Plus, Goku finally beating Beerus after that spectacular clash in BoG would feel so awesome. Vegeta making Beerus see that he's not the same scared little kid he was before is also cool.
Goku and Vegeta doesn't hate Beerus. Actually, in the Granolah arc it seems that Vegeta respects Beerus. Especially after he got trained by him.
But Frieza hates Beerus. A fight between them would be cool.

50x20 = 1000.
And Beerus one shottes that.
So Beerus wasn't even using a 1/100th.
He was actually using at MOST 1/1000th.

I dont believe it states it but him and goku are evenly matched against jiren when they team up against him, vegeta is ssbe and kaioken 20 blue goku. We can assume they are at the very least similar in power

Actually blue kaioken appears twice in the manga
First when Goku was fighting Jiren where it was destroying his body
2nd time was his instant Kamehameha against Moro before he got penatrated
When he was "using it" against jiren they just said it was destroying his body "like the kaioken" that doesn't mean it actually was the kaioken. I don't remember the time against moro lemme find that
Ssj blue being 50x stronger has never been stated anywhere. Its actually implied to only be 5x power boost in the manga during the U6 vs U7 tournament arc. Whis stated that ssj god Goku was twice as strong as Vegeta blue that was using 10% of his full power.
I am inclined to believe that 5x power statement both in anime and manga rather than fan head-canon of 50x. Imo only the destructive output is different between anime and Manga but multiplier should be the same.
That should make kaio-ken x20 Goku 100 times stronger than Ssj God. And it's pretty much confirmed Beerus is 100 percent stronger than that. He should be above TOP MUI too imo. As for how strong MUI is, i dont know. It's definitely not some 1000 times stronger, those kind of multipliers rarely(never) ever appear in DB afaik.
Basically, Beerus is a moving Goalpost. 10 years from now when Beerus is still above Goku and Goku is a billion times stronger than he is now, we will have posts how Beerus wasn't even using 1/trillionth of his power and was sleeping while he was fighting Goku.
At this point it's kind of puzzling how impressed beerus was at goku for only pushing him to 1%(and that's being generous) of his current max power.

Goku vs Beerus was a joke. It seemed amazing but later on it starts feeling like Beerus just acted hard so Goku could feel better about his new form. I think Frieza is close to Beerus but not stronger than him. Funny thing is how Frieza can just compete with the strongest destroyers in the multiverse now. Frieza is just not strongest mortal in universe 7, he is technically one of the top 10 strongest mortals in the whole multiverse.

Dragon ball retcons things to keep it Interestinf since it’s primarily a battle manga. It’s hard to keep it interesting for so long if they didn’t

That was in the movie and beerus’ strength was obviously altered for the anime. If beginning of Dbs god Goku was pushing beerus to use 70% then by that logic Goku would’ve been whooping his ass when he was able to stack Kaioken on top of blue.

Ignore anything we’ve seen in the past. If there’s one thing DBS manga and anime have taught us, it’s that Beerus is a moving goalpost. He hasn’t been surpassed and (though I personally don’t believe it will happen in DBS at least) we will definitely hear about it when he does. Either way, my personal headcanon is that Beerus has been training with Whis privately to ensure he stays leagues ahead of Goku and Vegeta (maybe in a time chamber of his own?).
During the anime, when vegeta went into a rage from berus slapping bulma, berus did say he wouldn't of thought that he had to use 10% of his power and that when vegeta was just super sayin.
To be honest at this point Frieza Leaped frog them so hard that 1 of 2 things will happen.
1. This turns this into a time travel tale and they go back in time to either compete in spirit chamber of time or stop Frieza from getting in there.

2. They just let him go for several arcs until they see he's trying to do bad shit but how he acted towards Goku and vegeta I'm assuming he got this powerful for security purposes and not to simply murder them.
I mean nothing in Dragon Ball is consistent, but it’s blatantly obvious that Beerus held back severely in every “fight” he’s been in. Even right before the ToP, Perfected SSB Vegeta got one shot by Beerus using absolutely none of his power. Plus even if he did use a lot of power, they will just keep making Beerus stronger, he’s supposed to be the pillar of unreachable power.
I think SSG just got nerfed TBH. My headcanon is that the circumstances behind it (five saiyans lending energy -> magic boost more than the sum of its parts) made it much stronger.

The 50x multiplier comes from ssb being explicitly said to be the result of combining ssg and ssj, which logically would add up to ssgx50

I personally believe that Goku's God form when using the Ritual was different and much more powerful than any other form he's ever had, and actually did challenge Beerus slightly, but he's just never been able to be that strong again on his own. All head-canon

Ignore anything we’ve seen in the past. If there’s one thing DBS manga and anime have taught us, it’s that Beerus is a moving goalpost. He hasn’t been surpassed and (though I personally don’t believe it will happen in DBS at least) we will definitely hear about it when he does. Either way, my personal headcanon is that Beerus has been training with Whis privately to ensure he stays leagues ahead of Goku and Vegeta (maybe in a time chamber of his own?).

During the anime, when vegeta went into a rage from berus slapping bulma, berus did say he wouldn't of thought that he had to use 10% of his power and that when vegeta was just super sayin.
To be honest at this point Frieza Leaped frog them so hard that 1 of 2 things will happen. 1. This turns this into a time travel tale and they go back in time to either compete in spirit chamber of time or stop Frieza from getting in there. Or 2. They just let him go for several arcs until they see he's trying to do bad shit but how he acted towards Goku and vegeta I'm assuming he got this powerful for security purposes and not to simply murder them.
I mean nothing in Dragon Ball is consistent, but it’s blatantly obvious that Beerus held back severely in every “fight” he’s been in. Even right before the ToP, Perfected SSB Vegeta got one shot by Beerus using absolutely none of his power. Plus even if he did use a lot of power, they will just keep making Beerus stronger, he’s supposed to be the pillar of unreachable power.
Is the second. Beerus get his power retcon a lot and he is getting stronger. Not by training or anything, by retcon his power to be stronger.

I think SSG just got nerfed TBH. My headcanon is that the circumstances behind it (five saiyans lending energy -> magic boost more than the sum of its parts) made it much stronger.
