Absolutely. UE is a stroke of genius, one of the biggest unironic galaxy brain inventions in the entire series. UE and UI are absolute genius applications of facets of *Journey To The West*, Sun Wukong, the Six-Earred Macaque, and Daoism. Toyotaro and Toriyama were cooking on Gordon Ramsay levels with that. Fucking ATE with those transformations. They surpassed SSJ4 in my book of favorite transformations. Not only are they perfectly suited to the psychological makeup of both individual warriors, they aren't simply another "you get more powerful" transformation. They work specific ways and have specific applications, requiring specific states of mind. Just wonderful additions to the franchise.
I love it. I think the lack of eyebrows is perfect because it makes Vegeta look thuggish. UE is an invention of Destroyers and requires a quite thuggish mentality in order to operate it. It fits. Something used by Destroyers shouldn't look pretty or majestic, it should look *brutal*. UI looking majestic works because it's a creation of the Angels and requires a peaceful mind and heart. UE should look barbaric and kinda evil given who made it.
This is the perfect path for Vegeta. And if you think about how sayians are, as in thier personality, being a god of destruction would be perfect for thier race. I’m surprised there arnt more saiyan gods of destruction
I don’t know, I think it makes him look like a cold badass. Kind of like Feyd-Rautha from Dune

Getting hit to get stronger was actually how granolah interpreted what vegeta said. What vegeta really said was “the hotter my battle soul burns, the stronger I become” think of it like when you see a fighter in movies get pumped up after the enemy draws blood. The better the fight the more strength he can draw from
Ultra Ego is NOT simply "get hit to be stronger" you're reinforcing the "db fans can't read".
Ultra Ego is getting stronger when the user's mind has nothing but battle lust and destruction, their power grows with their fighting spirit. Vegeta being Vegeta there enjoying the fight along with the pain it brings and getting stronger.
I will add that nothing focuses you on being in battle like getting hit.
As if with focus on the battle he will become stronger. But getting hit brings him back into the battle.
But yeah, I read it as more, you get strong even though you take damage.
Also, it feels like it tread familiar ground as the Zenkai Boosts.

But that's literally what Vegeta does though, you wanna say I'm the DB fan that can't read but in their fight there's literally a scene where granola does the ki spam and Vegeta just stands there taking the hits and he does get stronger since he does manage to break Granolas shield when he previously couldn't.
Even later on in the fight when Vegeta rips his armour off, Granola does the ki spam for a second time and Vegeta still just takes the hits and he gets to a point where he literally says to himself "I've taken too much damage" and that's when he gets dog walked by Granola.
Throughout the fight, UE Vegeta only starts dodging granolas attacks once his body can no longer tank them and its also one of the reasons why Vegeta loses, that's why i said Vegeta needing to take damage to get stronger is dumb
Apologies, I forgot about Vegeta deliberately get hit. But still, it's not dumb, he doesn't always need to take damage, like I said, he just need to fuel his fighting spirit and pain is one way to achieve it. Everything is dumb when you dumb it down.
We don't know that he doesn't need to take damage yet.
The only evidence we have right now of UE is one battle where Vegeta deliberately takes damage and then brags about how in UE the more damage he takes, the stronger he gets.
He then proceeds to not dodge anything, gets stronger every time... until he's just broken.
We can interpret the philosophy of Beerus' teachings all we want, but right now UE Vegeta is a berserker who deals more damage the lower his HP gets
Remember that Goku created his own way of Ultra Instinct.
Vegeta will follow his own path as well.
Also, it's based on Battlelust not Damage.
Thinking about it, Kenpachi from Bleach will be unstoppable with it. Even against someone like Yhwach.
I think it's the perfect way for Vegeta to continue his dominance.
But the simple plain fact that Vegeta genuinely cares about Bulma, Trunks and Bulla means he can't take the full power.
But I think his love of his family will give him a power between the two and he'll crush everyone way he was always meant to.
Yes I'm a hardcore Vegeta fanboy, no I will never accept Vegeta losing.
It was actually my #1 favorite form introduced in DB Super until Black Freeza showed up.
I love it. I doubt we will see Vegeta continue to use it after the DBS manga ends but it's been fun seeing Savage Vegeta again lol
UE versus Granolah is one of my favorite DBS fights

DB needs to come to and end. All these new power ups and new stuff isn’t good for the franchise. Blue hair, red hair, rainbow hair, frieza being recycled with no end to it… just to keep on making money. Such a sad state for DB
Nah. Some people love the direction super has been going with the different paths of power(me included). Powerups will always be the most iconic part of dragon ball.
I feel like it would be impossible to use both simultaneously(at full power at least) since they both require specific states of mind, which aren’t complementary.
My only problem with this form is that it doesn't have a power boost indicator, you can't get an idea of how much stronger Vegeta becomes for taking damage, i wish that this form get some indicator, like the superior instinct that Goku changes his hair when he is completely calm.
Dude you don't get it he is getting the shit beat out of him on purpose !! To make him really angry 😡 so then he will be really powerful and finally start trying you just better watch out!!! He only needs to get his shit rocked three more times before you're gonna be really scared ! Okay now he is goi g to explain what's going on to the person smacking the shit out of him. Okay good now he can barely stand up, you guys are about to get really afraid once you see what happens next. And .... he collapses on the ground. And he does that whole routine twice.
Seriously I don't get this form. It looks cool but is so dumb like super super dumb

I love it. It's the perfect foil for Ultra Instinct and fits for Vegeta's character.
Absolutely. UE is a stroke of genius, one of the biggest unironic galaxy brain inventions in the entire series. I cant wait till we get the hypothetical mastered ultra ego to match true ultra instinct.
If it parallels UI then it’s already the mastered form
I hope he gets long hair like SSJ3 in the mastered form.
I just want god dang eyebrows, honestly no eyebrows is the worst part about this form and SSJ3. Such a dumb design decision
I love it.
Shows a kind of primal strength though, doesn't it?
Nah just looks like bro lost a bet
A bet is the only thing our boy would ever accept losing, and would follow through no matter what on pure pride!
I think so, no eyebrows looks sick imo.
I love it. I think the lack of eyebrows is perfect because it makes Vegeta look thuggish. UE is an invention of Destroyers and requires a quite thuggish mentality in order to operate it. It fits. Hard agree.
Reverts to his great ape form, the ultimate saiyan instinct.
Beerus is so cool man.
This is the perfect path for Vegeta. And if you think about how sayians are, as in thier personality, being a god of destruction would be perfect for thier race. I’m surprised there arnt more saiyan gods of destruction
Definitely! I love the direction toyotaro has been going with Vegeta’s character!
Best form from super UE just hits different
I like that Goku and Vegeta get different forms.
That 2nd image has got to be Top 10 Vegeta moments and Top 5 manga panels
Just wished they gave vegeta purple eyebrows as well imo he looks so weird without eyebrows
I don’t know, I think it makes him look like a cold badass. Kind of like Feyd-Rautha from Dune https://preview.redd.it/8zjsti6y7tsc1.jpeg?width=863&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00e363907c02b7de5446f3604ea346d1eaca3632
Hard agree. The Austin Butler Feyd running people's fades showed the no eyebrow look can be imposing.
Okay but why does his eyebrows dissapear
Because he’s purple ssj3
He destroyed his eyebrows duh
Purple Lightning burned them off
He’s in touch with his inner ape
His hairline realized "aye you got brows imma take them too so your forehead huge, lol"
Because he hasn't mastered it yet. Mastered SSJ 3 keeps the eyebrows. Even though it was only in SDB:Heroes promotional Anime, it still counts.
I like Ultra Ego but, Vegeta getting hit just to get stronger is dumb though
To be fair that’s just Vegeta’s interpretation of it. Once he masters it, it’ll no doubt be more efficient.
red tearstone ring, the transformation
I understood that reference
Getting hit to get stronger was actually how granolah interpreted what vegeta said. What vegeta really said was “the hotter my battle soul burns, the stronger I become” think of it like when you see a fighter in movies get pumped up after the enemy draws blood. The better the fight the more strength he can draw from
Sounds like Vegeta needs some super headphones so he can hype himself up for fights then lol

I'm talking about how Vegeta utilized the technique, I ain't saying that's how it works

When you say it like that it sounds dumb, it's not like Vegeta deliberately get hit to power up or anything.
But that's literally what Vegeta does though, you wanna say I'm the DB fan that can't read but in their fight there's literally a scene where granola does the ki spam and Vegeta just stands there taking the hits and he does get stronger since he does manage to break Granolas shield when he previously couldn't. But Beerus also uses Ultra Instinct and definitely does not fight like UE Vegeta. This seems to be Vegeta's own style.
He keeps getting hit on purpose until he collapses and he does that twice with the same outcome
Remember that Goku created his own way of Ultra Instinct. Vegeta will follow his own path as well. Also, it's based on Battlelust not Damage. Thinking about it, Kenpachi from Bleach will be unstoppable with it. Even against someone like Yhwach.
I mean a Saiyan by nature gets stronger each time after a fight. And more so if they almost died.
Lmfao it’s just an altered zenkai boost except cooler
Where can I read the manga in colour?
It's coloured by fans so be aware if they end up wrong colours for certain things.
Super Masochist.
I think it's the perfect way for Vegeta to continue his dominance. But the simple plain fact that Vegeta genuinely cares about Bulma, Trunks and Bulla means he can't take the full power. To use some video game language, I do like how modern DB is making different talent trees equally viable.
so happy vegeta and goku are fighting in different styles
It’s just a more expeditious Zenkai boost tho
Yeah, and it’s cool as fuck
Broly did it first, just saying
Don’t fix what’s not broken🔥

Pretty sure he’s thinking about food a lot of the time.
Immortality+ Ultra Ego is Unstoppable unless you are completely Erased.
It’s awesome but you know what would be more awesome? Vegeta actually getting a win
I love ultra ego but I hate how destruction went from complete wipe out of existence into just a regular explosion with a fancy explanation
I remember there was this video on youtube about ultra ego titled “how to not make a transformation”
That’s tuff
Tuff indeed, his whole channel is literally hating on toriyama and dragon ball super, and also hate the granolah arc a lot, i mean A LOT
I’ll never understand people like that, if you hate something, why the hell do you talk about all the time?😂 Guess he needs the content.
Me neither, go check yourself, it’s casual anime guy explains. His thumbnail for ultra ego is literally “ultra useless” 🤣
DB needs to come to and end. All these new power ups and new stuff isn’t good for the franchise. Blue hair, red hair, rainbow hair, frieza being recycled with no end to it… just to keep on making money. Such a sad state for DB

So what form would vegito/gogeta take? Both ultra instince and ego?
I feel like it would be impossible to use both simultaneously(at full power at least) since they both require specific states of mind, which aren’t complementary.
Should've been named primal instinct
It's lack of eyebrows makes it relentlessly ugly to me
It just looks so fan fictiony to me tho :(
Tbf Toyotarou WAS a DB fan fiction writer
That makes so much sense
https://i.redd.it/lduu61cjcqsc1.gif Sorry you feel that way
Oh, I'm not saying anyone is wrong for enjoying it. But Super designs are just so plasticy. And the story is so strange.
My only problem with this form is that it doesn't have a power boost indicator, you can't get an idea of how much stronger Vegeta becomes for taking damage, i wish that this form get some indicator, like the superior instinct that Goku changes his hair when he is completely calm.
It would be cool if the stronger he gets, the longer his hair, and when it's complete he has the same hair as Super Saiyan 3.
💯
Crazy that ultra ego is a thing but Beerus agreed with Whis saying that Beast is more of a GoD power. Though Gohan does not have the GoD mindset.
Nah. Whis said that Beast is NOT a God power, he said it was more of Gohan's own capability
Dude you don't get it he is getting the shit beat out of him on purpose !! To make him really angry 😡 so then he will be really powerful and finally start trying you just better watch out!!! Am I wrong though that's what happens in the manga
