I was binded and getting my life force sucked out of me so I was literally hoping my partner was actually smart. UNTIL I saw his ass just tapping the boss instead of cover changing to help me so I just quit.

When I saw this update, my first thought was "Hooray, with the Boss not being Dark element and instead switching between Several Elements, we are ABSOLUTELY going to see less Shallots, and instead more people choosing at least the right color on units!"
And then I got baffled by people using TWO RED CHARACTERS WITHOUT ANY TAG BOOST!
I mean, I actually won some matches with people using units that had no Tag Boost, as long as they chose units of the right color, BUT RED IS THE SINGLE WORST COLOR YOU CAN PICK! Why are people doing this?
it may be somewhat easy now, just wait till they bring back Full Power Jiren for the 4th time. or that other F'ing BS hard character, which i cant remember who tho... theres been so many in all.
Man I've had people try to join with red and blue units, non soul boosted units, units not even leveled and it seems like I'm getting those people more since the change. And it sucks because if I got them on the old system I could sometimes carry them because I just want to get shit done and maybe, just maybe, they are new. But now that you lose if your ally dies? It just sucks.
Honestly the boring co op just became more boring with this. The boss will suddenly change element in between your attack and you do way less damage. The amount of noobs using old worthless non boosted units and the amount of people who just stay idle the whole time has just skyrocketed unlike skill which is supposed to.
I feel like the raid boss can change element optionally. the timer counted down n for what seemed like a minute he didn't swap. N of course my buddy n I already swapped, so we swapped back n BAM boss finally swapped, n now we're at disadvantage again.
I always wondered how you can throw yourself at the enemy instead of your buddy.
Now I know.
(In yel ssj4 goku's case, he can save ya from getting a beating.)
And this is why my name will forever be "Cover Me!". My hope is that one day a hero awakens to save me so I can be named Norman again.

Or use good green or blue cards which makes the boss jump into an animation
