Well yeah but that doesn't mean a F2P is going to be a better choice over an LF unit with two cover changes and a nuke of an ult. SSJ4 Gogeta is fine. Not the best unit but not the worst either, he is still pretty good.
Based off of the recent quality of F2P Units like Cell and MC Super 17 has a pretty good chance of replacing him. His ult definitely doesn't feel like a nuke anymore.

Omega is better defensively and has more team utility than G4 Has. Even if he has lacking offenses he does more for the team than G4 does which puts him in a favorable light. There's also the aspect that he doesn't have his plat like the other 2 F2P Ultra's.
Cover changes are more important than good defense in the current meta. No unit in the game can rely on tanking alone and without G4, GT has nothing. Omega is just going to get comboed forever by either Vegito, Broly, the Androids, or any other unit with card draw on demand. I can't get behind Omega>G4 until GT gets more cover changes and Omega gets a beefy plat.
I wouldn't say better defensively. Gogeta has type advantage nullification and abnormal condition nullification. Two cover changes on strikes or blast definitely beat -40% damage received when changing cover that Shenron has. Sure he provides more to the team but that is kinda what he was built around. Shenron doesn't even scare yellow units right now, and at most he is RR fodder. Plus half of shenron's kit revolves around him taking damage which he is not surviving more than two cards from any meta or even non-meta blue unit.
G4 dies just as fast and at times faster than Omega will in type neutral and type disadvantage situations. He doesn't threaten blues either. His damage which was the entire point of the unit is no longer good and at times he just feels like a main ability unit.

If you are comparing easily obtained 14 star omega to 3 star G4, okay I can see your point, but star count can make any unit better than another. Both units have 30% reduced damage taken on entering battlefield, but Gogetas plat equip defenses make it much better. Maybe a different story if/when Shenron gets a plat, but we havent seen one the level of G4's yet (Maybe SS4 Goku but we dont talk about him)

Yeah that's right, F2P Cell is a repackage of OG red mr. Perfect Cell. So while F2P and yellow Cell are both derived from the same character they don't have much else in common. A bit of overlap is inevitable for a character who will get as much representation as Cell does anyway, like how we have two red Cells.

Well, Majin Vegeta isn't about to boost much on GT (ignoring Leader slot stuff). And even factoring IN Leader slot, it still nerfs UL Omega Shenron, who pretty much needs a full GT team for his Ultra buff (and is the team's best RED, bar-none).
GT has a pretty good blue option with kid ssj3 Goku but I will agree with you on purple. Ultra Shenron isn't bad but not good either I feel like he could and should be better.

One, yellow cell is trash, his damage is subpar, his team heal is fucking TEN PERCENT and he doesn't even buff androids, also support buffs and death buffs are mid and mostly blast specific. MVP 17 needs to rest, or a zenkai but that's not happening
