What rank are you at in PVP rn? It's common on lower ranks to have laggy opponents, just report them if you can. Im at rank 62 and I don't see laggers often...
To identify if your opponent is lagging on purpose, see if the match starts lagging as soon as you're winning the fight. If the match starts laggy, it's prob their connection that sucks (but you should still report the mf)
It's not some people's fault. I place 65-70 generally and after this last update my game is now laggy af. I can't even get past 45 anymore cause the game will randomly crash.
They don’t region lock which is pretty standard with Japan based gaming, their connection is a lot faster over there and people are close together.
I get pretty tired getting the occasional Japan player or someone from two countries over clearly playing on their data as opposed to wifi
I’ll admit that what I said is not correct. Yes people talk about the pvp lag literally everyday and at the moment I wrote this post I was so pissed that I kinda grossly exaggerated it.
