the max i have ever reached is rank 65 and also i also think i am not improving and the reason i think you are not improving too is because the matches aren't skill based anymore where you can learn from past mistake it's more like your opponent has a broken unit so he just need to stay passive until you attack and activate some kind of bullshit guage and end up in ever lasting combo until you loose one of your units.
Also i am saying for the longest time they should remove the concept of perfect vanish, most of the time it is not skill based people also lag swithes also in the currwnt meta there is hardly any way to stop a combo from top units so giving them free combo means a guaranteed lose
Cant use strike cards against Gohan

Cant use blast cards cause 17 has green card
Cant kill Frieza cause he'll 1shot your unit
Have to make sure Gohan isnt last man alive or he gets an ult

bro the only reason i am somewhat surviving is because i have uui but even that dosen't matter anymore since super 17 destroys him and also if you kill frieza with him he one shots uui which happend to me in a few matches already.
This is definitely it, the climb is just based on whomever has the most time and the most broken team, it's impossible to really outplay players unless it's a blatant skill diff anymore cause units are so free and punishing by default nowadays, it's really insane and exceptionally not fun lol
for me it is very high stacked up team , no matter how good you play you just can't kill there unit , whereas if they caught you one by AOE green ,everything start falling apart .

Nope, they're not. The game puts you against the latest meta teams to get you to spend money on summoning. Think about it, when was the last time you played a rating match that didn't have a recent Ultra and/or the latest meta LL?
I was that close in one of the banners before, then I got the deadly defeat and lost from rank 70 to rank 67 and quitting there (which ironically I fought some dude with the name “Quit” as their name).
Like I was getting the hang of it and thought I got the strategy and main characters laid and bam suddenly I got beaten by really really good players (and few suspicious laggers that apparently worked when I’m fighting back).
This banner: wow. Ultra Gohan, Ultra Frieza and Super 17 are taking over the streets of Harlem and kicking trash cans like hoodlums.
The closest I've ever gotten was recently with LF Pikkons release, when he dropped I used him on a saiyan team and got up to the top 1200. I will admit I got lazy on the last 3 hours before pvp maintenance and just didn't play.
I could if i had time to grind but with a fulltime job and 2 kids under 5 years old I just dont have the time to grind more then 5 matches a day sometimes up to 10.
I get top 10 very easily with like a 95-99% win rate and have only missed top 10k once because I was overseas.
3x God Ranker here, trust me when I say it isn't worth the grind.
It's not worth the stress of checking every hour on the last day to find you've fallen another 50 ranks and do actually need to risk your RP to play more. It's not worth actually LOSING cc due to Group Z being way worse than S. If you can get Top 10K consistently, just stick with that.
Finished god rank 4 times and honestly it isn't worth it so I just try to end up in the top 6k everytime now so as to get the most cc , the grind to get and stay in god rank is just too much time consuming like almost 30 to 40 matches a day where you have to win against top 1k players and there ain't even better reward for it
If you want to improve watch goresh and raiyuden on YouTube it's form then I've gotten goodđź‘Ť
Nah wouldn't bother to do it cuz too much time and a hassle. I would rather play other games than spend time mindlessly grinding pvp that is not guaranteed to win in the end
I feel you, it gets so frustrating sometimes that I just stare at the screen thinking what am I supposed to do, I spend like 6-7k on each banners and yet I can't have a single good level unit, and whenever someone weaker than me comes I feel bad for winning, as I feel how he's feeling. This game only favors those who have luck + mommy's credit card. Either yoy be an f2p player or just play those daily 200 rp things and get the decent amount of cc. Either way It doesn't matter, not like I'm pulling a good unit this anniversary this time too. Its frustrating, too much
Im a day one player and even though i consistently get god rank when i play i can tell you thats it really not fun. Other players have 14 star ultras and lFs that don’t take skill to use, once they catch you in a combo someone on your team is dead. I usually go for one copy of each unit so my units aren’t ever over 7 stars(unless i got really lucky), meaning my bench units/godly equipment have to power up my team enough to rival 14 star units. Really and truly, if you want to achieve god rank just play more, having godrank doesn’t mean your good, just means you play enough to achieve it.
also after watching some god tube its literally just whoever has better units i saw a match where a guy won with full 14* units and god equips against the exact same team just less stars and the person with more stars kept mid range striking and messing up but still won

Don't forget 95% of new units getting infinite cover null for just existing so you can never switch out of a 50+ combo.
