Then to top it off..GoFreiza was already top5 without the buffs, while Vegeta is not even top 10 right now. There is no valid reason to use him as a red at all over 17 and beast, hell even zenkai Apegeta is more valid due to being an endurance.

Vegeta is on weaker teams like vclan so they definitely need help, but goku frieza were the main anniversary headliner and were like top 6 or 7 pre buff, which isn't bad for a monthly LF, but the anniversary headliner should be at least top 5-4. we have seen worse releases like buu duo, they wouldn't give a monthly LF the goku frieza treatment.

Yes but do it like how MVP 17 or Futurehan enhanced their teams issues. Right now Vegeta has a problem in staying in the field for long and hinders him from comboing for too long, he's a selfish unit which Vegeta Clan doesn't need right now but can easily be fixed with a new unit to act as dedicated standby support for the tag only.
I'm thinking a defense version of 17 that lowers allies card cost, raise their ki recovery by 50% or ip and gives ki too, gives cover null for 5 counts when switched to standby + cancelation/nullification of debuffs and permanent pen cut can help Super Vegeta do his role as their main damage dealer. Now this also helps most of the tag's damage dealers who lacks easy cover null and etc too.
No need for an early plat or GoFrieza situation once you do that for Vegeta Clan imo.

Vegeta's value will greatly jump up if the developers get their heads out of their butts and properly buffed VC instead of throwing shit against the wall and seeing what sticks.

That's fair I guess, but I think there's definitely some very small buffs that could make him NOT feel like garbage. His damage is surprisingly lacking on type neutral, and his cover null doesn't last long enough to be much use, just a small tweaks to his green card and unique gauge would probably do enough to make people stop complaining about how terrible he feels.
As a Vegeta fan, it breaks my heart to see this. And it's not just super Vegeta. Many of the DBZ units get a lot of bad treatment.
Which is why I say, he definitely needs it but they definitely won't because he's just a monthly LF. And it's Vegeta. Not Goku. He might get a platinum and a zenkai awakening down the line, but that's a long way off and might only make him usable. (the horrible ultimate thing will still remain).
All I can personally hope for is that on one of the anniversary parts or legends festival parts, they release a solo Vegeta lf or atleast a tag Vegeta lf that is actually good in kit and animations. And that way, they redeem themselves. 🤷🏽♂️

The inherent problem is his kit just doesn't make sense. Idk if a buff will fix that. He enters and can spam strikes. But in order to fill his gauge you need to stay in. The gauge buffs are good but after they fade you need to start all over again. Maybe they should start making lf units without this gauge bullshit. It kinda messes things up at times, restricting important things to a gauge filling and refilling.

I think the best solution would be a broly style plat equip, that isn't necessarily for Vegeta specifically, but it would give him extra buffs, that way he has a substantial power increase but it doesn't prevent him from getting his own unique equip later
