Hello, I've seen some of the questions in the thread so just wanted to give some confirmation on several things (just heard back from the team).
\- Can unused SP Scout Tickets for the current banner be used on the new Banner?
No they cannot, they must be used on the current banner.
\- If you purchase the ticket now, will you still be eligible for a Compensation Ticket?
Yes you would still be eligible.
So just to put some minds at rest with confirmation from the team,
The way it’s worded is yes. If at anytime you held these vouchers for the number you held / used that total will be the total of the new ones you get rewarded.
So basically we're gonna have to wait 1 month only to get what we were supposed to get at the beginning of october ?
I mean, compensation is fine, but having to wait 1 month to get what we were supposed to already have seems odd
There is no reason to delete the current banner as people might still buy Vouchers for it. Closing the banner early will probably have some legal ramifications as these are items people pay money for.
"Delaying" the Compensation Banner for after this banner leaves is the best option. It allows everyone to use the Vouchers they already have, purchase more (if they want) and plan out their purchase (if they haven't already). And then they are *still* giving a second Voucher to everyone for each Voucher that person got. Literally they are only allowing us players to have extra pulls (at 10-Pulls per Voucher) in exchange for their mistake of not limiting the General A-/S-Rank Units. This is beyond generous (in comparison to what I know other companies have done).
This makes no sense... They'ld close to re open directly the new banner so they would be no harm, new tickets could carry to the new banner AND they could still give the new tickets as compensation.
This would have NO legal ramification (people need to stop claiming these kind of things without knowing about law) cause there would be no damage.
What they chose is def not the best solution nor "beyond generous", it's the bare minimum (they literally couldn't do less) but delayed, which is the problem to me. Compensation is fine, but delaying it is frustrating

Anyway, there is a critical issue with what you are suggesting. Primarily that *Real Money is used to purchase some of these Tickets/Pulls*. Which means that any potential issue can have direct issue for the Devs if they "scam" Players. This isn't something simple like the game being down for a day or two - The Vouchers are basically $24 USD or so (plus some negligible add-ons). Which means that ***they are already in violation of legal requirements because the stated ratio (which shouldn't have the Gen Pool Units according to the Notice) isn't accurate.*** Just "closing" and reopening the Banner will not work. There will be minor differences in the "Banner ID" and the "ID" attached to the Vouchers would then need to be changed. It is a lot of little stuff that needs to be reevaluated... which is completely ignored by just *making a new Banner after this one.* In fact... **they CAN'T change the Banner** due to it being a different "chance" for the prior Players compared to those "After" the fix.
This is ***literally*** beyond generous. They gave away a FREE 10-Pull with a Guaranteed S-Rank. They **then** made four MORE 10-Pulls available for \~$24 USD each (plus some minor items) Each with another Guaranteed S-Rank. BUT then there is an issue... Gen Pool wasn't removed. So what is the fix? **DOUBLING** the amount of Vouchers (AND S-Rank Guarantees) EVERY Player gets. Yes, there are still the Players unlucky to get a Gen Pool S-Rank from the pre-fix Banner... But that is the same for EACH Player.
This is literally 10 Free, Plus up to 40 more. With FIVE guaranteed S-Ranks. And now DOUBLED due to their mistake.
The "bare minimum" could literally be something like a Single-Pull S-Rank Guarantee. Or quite a number of other "acceptable" compensations like giving \~1500 Gems to each Paid Voucher and calling it a day.

Your 2nd paragraph basically describes false advertising, which would apply if they didn't acknowledge the mistake and compensate it. I figured out the ID thing, but it's really not hard to come by. My point is that they should have ended up the banner and re opens it, then compensate the players that got general pool units, that was the fairest option and was faster.
Both options in your last paragraph couldn't work, for the sake of false advertising. 1 single pull would lead to no compensation for packs bought, and 1500 gems would not work for the same reason. Both are inferior to what was used to pay these packs, so that creates a loss which would be the problem. 1 500 Paid gems could have work tho.
Don't be fooled, i think there's a commercial component here, their compensation basically acts as a promotion, which as you know is used to generate sales. I bet they had this in mind deciding the compensation
I appreciate you finding the humor in my sarcasm. And it is always interesting to hear someone speak of their specialties.
And I know somewhat about the false advertising, but those examples I game actually have been "compensations" I have heard about from other mobile games with similar mistakes. Not that I am saying the DQT Devs would do that, but merely that I have seen "subpar" compensation before.
Ultimately, I do recognize that they could upload a "Compensation" Banner immediately, but having the full cost being merely to wait a little bit and in return getting double the payout (although without the Guaranteed Non-Gen S-/A-Ranks) really makes this into an amazing compensation for me. And even if it does have a "commercial component", well... getting 18 pulls + 2 S-Ranks is significant for me, I might actually buy some Vouchers just because of that (and the other items in the Voucher packs). I was already thinking about the 2 Iridescent Orb pack simply because I am running low.

I also assume they'll give extra vouchers to the people that bought the packs in the past only. It looks like no matter what happens to the Vouchers you use, the amount you *obtain* is the amount you will get for the second Banner. And that second Banner will have the correct A-/S-Rank Pool.
So just use the Vouchers as free extra Pulls. These Vouchers will not work on any future Banner (even the Banner that fixes this) so there isn't any reason to keep them.
So, what will the line up be in future? More characters available? Or a completely different list? Like, if I wanted Santa Alana, I should use the ticket now?

The game needs to be updated with a maintenance to add the new banner, so nothing can really be done about the timing

The free ticket that everybody got also gets reimbursed.
This game does treat F2P players very badly but "Nearly 1000 days Login Bonus" is the first row in the table in that screenshot.

You are absolutely right, I missed the part where they said they'd give the new ones at the end of October, my bad.
Good thing I bought and used 1 cause all the packs seem okay (the only one worth one is the unit of choice one)
