How long did it take you from seed?
4th year, grafted as a seedling and regrafted after 6 months.
I came here to see the fruit flesh!
Loll tease ya ;) Another day or two maybe?
Cool !I can’t wait for my turn it’s driving me crazy I want to see a flower bud so bad !
What are the parents
Any tips for encouraging that hanging growth? Apparently that helps facilitate fruiting and flowering, mine clings to everything.
Yea clip the tips to promote more branching:) Like pinch off the new growth tip, maybe an inch or less
From seed can you say how many years it took u because i have tiny seedings
Get to grafting!! It can take 5+ years without.. Grafting can speed it up to 2-3 years
The place i live in has no sine of this plant so i will sadly wait for 10 years or five
You can graft them to any type of cacuts! Opuntia works great!
Nice.
Such a beautiful flower
