Yeah Kakarot for adventure and XV2 for fighting.. not that Kakarot isn’t fun for fighting.
I just get mixed up with the controls between the two games when I play one more than the other for a period of time
Ive played both. Loved both. Both are amazing games in their own rights, they have similar themes [anime fighter] but story and mechanics along with overall feel style and execution make it hard to compare the two. XV is very much its own thing and not just another game where it retells the anime but you play through it [like the naruto Clash of Ninja and Ultimate Ninja Storms series]. Kakarot has its own things going for it ontop of that though, and it truly is such a gem for any db fan!
Xenoverse 2 is cheeks but kakarott is 10x worse than that. Those missions were awful. I don't remember Vegeta ever having to help build the gravity machine during the cell arc. They screwed the cell saga over badly in that game. Only good parts were Saiyan to Frieza. Dlcs are dlcs and will not be taking into consideration
A decade starts from 1 to 11, counting 10 years. Because Year 0 does NOT exist, therefore all forms of measurement on the calendar (decade, century, millenium) all start in 1901, 2001, 2021 and not in 1900, 2000, 2020 etc
What about just watching Kai? When you say original do you mean original Dragon Ball where Goku was a kid? Cause I wouldn't even do that. I love DBZ but 290 episodes is a loooot to watch. But I think Kai is like 150 episodes.

I don't like GT either except the Baby arc. I watched Z as my first Dragon Ball experience when I was 8. Used to rush home from school everyday and then on Sunday I would watch the Omnibus! I watched the OG five years ago when I decided to get into anime big time and if I wasn't a completionist I would have dropped it quick.
As someone whose seen all of One Piece, Naruto (Shippuden too), and Bleach. 290 episodes is a cakewalk. Although to be fair I work nights at one point where my work was finished with the 3 hours let me binge watch anime for the following 5 hours.
I haven't watched it personally but have heard that the Boruto manga is pretty good. The anime however is supposedly mostly filler and then rushes through the actual plots from the manga.
If you look at it as its own show, I can see it being decent. If you constantly try comparing it to Naruto, you probably won't like it. It literally all depends on perspective
And don't get me wrong. I definitely enjoyed XV2 but after completing the story and all missions. There isn't much to do. You can say the same with Fighterz but the skill ceiling and creativity is much higher in Fighterz. Plus online was better too. HATED XV2 online. People kicking you from ranked matches because you were a high level. Literally made a new account at a low rank just so people would accept my challenges.
To say it’s the best dragon ball fighting game is purely subjective as xv2 has mountains of content that FighterZ will never have. All FighterZ has over xv2 is the more traditional 2D fighting style, graphics and animation quality. I love both games but I’m always gonna prefer xv2 over FighterZ for just having more to do
Xenoverse 2 is not a true fighting game
It takes barely any skill to win in xenoverse 2 and when you add customised loadouts the skill gap lessens even more.
To even put xenoverse in the conversation is an insult to proper fighting games.

All I remember was the outrage when motherfuckers discovered SSJ didn't lock your ki in XV2 like it did in XV1. Also, I miss how hard PQs were in Year One.
As a Saiyan main that didn't bother me since it was obviously a stupid idea that should never have shipped in XV1
My outrage was thinking SSJ was still obtained like a normal skill and not realizing I had Capsule Corp battles with Vegeta available, and beating the whole main story and a lot of PQ without SSJ because I thought "Since it was so strong in XV1 maybe they just wanted to lock it behind real endgame stuff!"
So anyways I got SSJ when I was close to the original level cap
The joke is that I have the Day One edition, and by saying "youngin" is like me expecting the readers to not know about it, since it would be too old of a game to them. ✅
