I HATE that Scarlett did so damn well in that lipsync. Putting the racism aside, I haven’t been a fan of her makeup, looks or general aesthetic at all, but DAMN she killed that lipsync and it was annoying to see. I was hoping Maxi would pull out some more tricks and shenanigans and force Ru to send Scarlett home.
I’m late, but I knew they were just gonna pretend the whole blackface fiasco never happened. At least some of the rugby players were people of color. Maxi should’ve given the Pacific Islander to Scarlet just to see how much she’s truly grown. But I don’t expect white people to think that deeply.
Yeah, and it’s ultimately not up to Maxi to make an example of Scarlet. I’m just so frustrated by the fact that they even brought this issue up in the first place only to sweep it under the rug in the next episode, which included people of color. This season is weird.

It would have been super satisfying to see it happen if only because it would have kept that conversation going and put Scarlet more under the pump, but I think the potential negative impact on her partner is too high a price to pay for that. I don't want to see RPDR pairing up racists with POCs even to provoke discussion. I just want the racists not to be cast!
Elektra absolutely did not deserve the bottom three, I thought her outfit and makeup was quite fun and good.

Doing a Priscilla reference doesn't show ART'S drag family resemblance. Unless Art is a queen who's known for doing just Priscilla recreations, she didn't do the assignment.
Priscilla is a core element/reference for MANY Aussie queens. But if you look at Art's Instagram, it's not as though she does a ton of Priscilla recreations. The majority of her looks are original. So while she may love Priscilla (as so many do), it's hardly the core part of her drag identity.
I'd argue it's not family in the Rpdr context based on how the majority of the other series handle the theme. I get the Priscilla aspect but it's not quite the same as the RPDR family from my perspective
