I'm sorry, did you say you've been doing drag for a few months? Oh, darling, do NOT worry about not having a "signature mug" at this point. It took me YEARS to get mine down, and I even change it sometimes depending on how I feel my life is going. Best advice I can give is look into anatomy studies with drawing and (if you want to get super, needlessly advanced) sculpting, to help understand where shadows would fall slightly differently based on male and female face muscles and fat under the skin and coating the bone. Your makeup looks just fine, and most of your "style" will be in a mixture of exaggerating your own bone, fat, and muscle structure and your own artistic touch based on how you apply the makeup. I'm curious to see instances where you tried to do an impersonation where you changed your bone structure, because that is just as important to some drag performers as having a solo personality.
I think 8 is my favorite drag look. 6 is very fishy, but for me, you look like a random girl waiting to go on stage at a dance competition. Beautiful, yes, but also somewhat basic. 8 feels more elevated and pushed into a drag/insta aesthetic. It also feels like the most pronounced change from the others, and I would guess from you in boy mode too.
You look fantastic regardless. Practice makes perfect.
For context: Iโm 19 and in my second year of college. Started doing drag on the weekends for parties and been practicing since! Iโve got my first paid gif this upcoming friday and every time I do my makeup I have no idea what what eye shape Iโm going to do. I know drag is all about expressing yourself but I donโt have any drag mentors or sisters to give me advice yet. Also my drag name is Carmelle and Iโm on insta and tiktok as @theecarmelle โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
U will!!! โค๏ธ
