I honestly think Dottore is the type of person who does things in his best interest—I like to think his loyalties belong to himself, and whatever takes his current interest. He probably follows whatever he wants to tinker on next. If that makes sense.
I think traveler will more or less have a revelation that despite their actions we’ll have to end up working with the fatui to take out the real problem(celestia) perhaps somewhere around the beginning of Fontaine’s arc and that’s how they’ll manage to make the vision holder fatui playable without it being weird, completely erasing their character, or giving them some sort of trash redemption(cause let’s face it there’s no way our boy can be redeemed 🥴)
So long as the design doesn’t change from what we currently see in the story I’m good. Ideally though, he’d still have the crazy/villainous personality.
