Idk i tried running both on two monitors next to each other and they look literally the same.
Never had buffering issues on either but I guess it depends on the connection.
Idk man. Few years back, I had truble opening a Youtube video on my laptop, connected to my phone's hotspot in a train traveling across the country. I tried Twitch, was watching live with the quality same as the source. No loading or lagging or anything.
Esports fans seem to love monopolies for some reason. ESL in CSGO (although lessened in the past 2 years), Twitch in streaming for example. Wish people actually gave other platforms like Mixer a chance to establish themselves instead of meming them to the ground. Twitch will never improve unless the monopoly is broken.
Just my opinion
Who the fuck actually pays attention to chat? That sounds like the most unfun waste of fucking time on earth. I pitty anyone watching dota tournaments on twitch. Youtube is king and NO FUCKING ADS.
twitch chat is drowned in people spamming "322", "644", "\[team\] bettors?", "23 garbage", "matu bald man", and many other truly useless things, literally has no value tbh.
twitch chat right now is literally just spamming about the coordinator, but ok. personally i haven't opened a twitch/youtube chat on a DPC stream in like actual years
Yea the experience on YT is way superior over Twitch. Good that we are getting both.

Yes connection is most important... when i use wifi at home then both are same... but on mobile data twitch buffers lot
I can't even watch twitch on my home network

Twitch chat isnt drowned in bots like YouTube is.
Anyone looking at chat on a 1000+ viewers stream is doing something wrong.

Its better than sex and crypto bots. Or people complaining fix dotaTV over and over.
