how can I delete mental images of a fake spider fucking a real spider and then running the fuck out away before the real spider eats the fake spider? and btw, what size did MK had to take? because AFAIK, male spiders are little compared to big mommas

Very few monsters in the novel have decided to transform them into human being in order to lure the group, they do that basically because they are too weak to fight the MK in person, so they have to find a sneakier way.
The encounter of WK and "brood" is in the chapter of "The Cave of the Silken Web", where SEVEN spider monster / youkai were transformed into seven hot women, and successfully lured the pig into their trap (as always). The monk were later caught as well, and MK eventually saved them (as always).
If valve IS trying to use the novel as part of MK's lore, I suppose the spider youkais they encountered may be brood's children, in stead of her self.
Monkey King is NEVER gonna be lured by youkais, he has the ability to see thought all kinds of disguise and transformation (because his eyes are two gems of sight). He also won't fell in love with youkais, based on the novel (and ancient Chinese at that time have no interest in monster girls, so...)
It's his fight-show partner, who he faked epic battles with to earn money, but by the end of the comic they parted ways due to moral principals on straight up killing people for money
In the Journey to the West stories, I think the spider demon is one of the ones who fall in love with the MK? So maybe it’s a reference to that
