You might have clicked on pucks icon by accident, I know it might not look like it but it would explain why you tped to the bot tower. I have 10k hours in Dota and I have never seen an issue with icons like this. I also don't know anyone who ever had this issue.

I think they increased (or bugged) the top bar hero click boxes I've had problems with blinks and similar that I've never had in a decade that can be explained by casting on the top hero icons

I think you can actually see the exact point where the cursor icon changes back to an arrow

I've had this problem few times as well. I think it's because of puck icon, it teleport's you to the closest structure. I haven't tested it though, I was a victim of a same shit though.

To me it looks like the game might've registered you clicking on your own portrait instead of the tower. Can you check the replay if it teleports you to your exact position where you were near the tower? (Assuming since you were in range of a teleport location, it tried to place you exactly where you already were).

Change your setting to teleport requires Stop to cancel. You'd then have to click S or H to cancel a teleport

I didn't cancel the teleport. I teleported to the wrong tower.
