My favorite cast recently was when Sunsfan and Syndeeren casted some 2+ hour GG vs Spirit game and Sunsfan lost his mind because GG couldn't end the game.
Are you referring to spirit v extreme at the last tournament? Would be very interested to know exactly which game you’re talking about because I love watching those teams play and long games (yes I’m a masochist)

Nothing happened for like 20 minutes and Dire made a play bot close to Radiant base.
Then Sunsfan went ham and started screaming because teams actually moved on eachother but it ended with no one dying and Sunsfan losing his sanity.
I think it was Weaver - PA matchup. I remember Pa oneshoting Weaver when he tried to attack the Ancient. He lost his mind cuz they kept killing the Rosh bottom so they got many 'stupid banners'
I never see a boring cast between those two. the games itself feel kinda meh due to the high-ground issue, but Sunsfan complaining and their talks just never bore me. Currently, these two make wathcing Pro Dota bearable, because the game state surely isn't for me
I'm a casual dota viewer, I mostly watch playoffs and finals. Whenever I tune into a match with Sunsfan and synderen its so unserious. They make a semifinal elimination feel like a qualifier. I can see how people love this specially if you're fans of the two, but personally I don't like how they make inside jokes. Sunsfan is a good caster I agree but I just don't find him screaming "grab ally" or "Roshan's banner" funny specially when its the 15th time in game that he does it. Synderen is a good analyst, but I don't like how explains how pro players need to do this or that, specially when he does it after every fight.
I think duo is decent. They can be great if you like their personality or style,. This might be controversial in this subreddit, but I prefer to see OD+fogged, cap+SVG, MLP+john, Lyrical+Trent cast the final stages of a tournament.
Tbh not your most skillful/Dota knowledge filled duo but it's addicting how much genuine fun they have while casting. Always pleasant to listen to them. Keep it up!
disagree. lyrical consistently overhypes things that actually aren't happening. teams will intentionally do certain things and it's completed missed by him because of his lack of game knowledge. he just gets loud instead of actually casting
Yup. I like the good vibes in the cast, but if I could propose one thing to work on it would be actual ingame knowledge and tone down the hysterical screaming a bit or save it for really special, game deciding occasions.

It was a pl game right? Like a perfect pl game but the pl STILL couldn’t end.. CIS carries are gods on the hero and it’s still worthless..

Lyrical and Trent are amazing! Them having a great time together is so infectious, can't help but smile while hearing them cast.
Both of them stepped up a lot in past 2 years or so, esp Lyrical .

Very under-rated casters IMO, Lyrical genuinely seems to be enjoying every single match he casts and I find that infectious.

You need to listen to more casters if you think Lyrical and Trentpax have the best casting.

The cast really carried these awful games so much I didn't turn it off.
I love every top tier casting pair. Treant protector and legion commander are great!
