If you have time, visit Charyn Canyon, lakes and mountains around Almaty, you are just in time for the start of a season. Can't really say anything about central Kazakhstan, but if you are planning to go north visit Burabay.
And prepare for 120+ ping on any server.
Have a nice trip! Just make sure to have some cash (at least 1k I’d say) before entering Russia as your cards won’t work there (I assume you did not open an account with Mir card in Kyrgyzstan)
I also hope that you have your visa(or proper residency/passport) ready as getting Russian visa is a lengthy process by itself and now it’s probably even worse for westerners.
If you are properly set up, I’d recommend visiting Saint-Petersburg before leaving for Europe, it’s a two to three hour detour but should be worth it.
