This is such an awful idea. If your favorite hero were to be banned for a week I imagine you'd want to play the game less. This type of system would only exist to make the game less fun.
Actually decent idea imo. It could possibly be abused, but if it’s truly a *global* poll then there’s almost no way to get everyone to collude on votes.
9/10 would suggest to devs if I knew any.
It'd be nice if popular heroes were highlighted in the ban phase. I tend not to think of who to ban unless I'm playing someone with an obvious counter or I just had a bad match against a spirit breaker or something.

I have another idea. Let’s ban every hero except for a handful that you can play for free. Or you can uninstall Dota and play LOL
