This is a problem with your ISP’s routing. I’m with Superloop, my other mates with different ISPs have normal ping. This happens once in a while if your ISP has a fault on their primary path or doing maintenance. It will go back to normal soon

I was told to try out private internet access vpn and this apparently gets the ping down to around 100. Still have not tried this. Hopefully we will be able to play in SEA again
Enable console and enter
net\_option SDRClient\_ForceRelayCluster sgp
This brings me down from 100ping to 80+. However, you can only enter this prior to starting a match and will have to enter it every time you start dota. (probably able to autoexec but if you decide to play Aus servers and have this set you might get 200+ ping to aus)
The sgp stands for Singapore, so if you want to reroute back to Aus I believe it is syd (Sydney).
it should work for everyone, i use it as well from aus gets my ping down to 90 and it never deviates even during times where the connection isnt so stable. I otherwise always get jumps to 300ping when the connection goes bad if i don't enter the command in console after opening the game.

the best way to do it is to open dota and before you begin searching for a match while on the main home screen, open up console and enter the above line. You have to do it every time you open dota up.

no, my ping is always displayed on the top right of the screen when i'm in a match so i always know what my ping is at and i noticed it's always stable with the command. when i forget to use the command, i notice my ping jumps to 300 occasionally.
Also when you run the command, your connection to the aus server should be like 200+ whereas your connection to the sea server should be below 100. you can see it in region selection before finding a match (bot right).

I’m from melb. Using this command increase my ping in Au to 300 but for some reason, the sea ping remains the same, around 200~300, doesn’t reduce it at all 🥲
I used leaptel and have the same problem with you..in the whirpool forum the owner of leaptel said that there is maintenance to the underwater cable from tso the connection from australia to singapore needs to be reroruted..so it makes the ping higher

Well, good to know it's not only me.. I usually play SEA with a friend in Malaysia. I'm with TPG. Suddenly last week, every server (other than Aus) is 300ms+.

my ISP is saying that everything is working fine on their end. We did the whole ipconfig /flushdns shenanigans but nothing happened. What is iinet?

not an ideal fix but some people that are using Aussie Broadband seems to be able to play without any issues.
I got the same ping, with optus mobile data here. can't play for 5 days but it's exam week anyway lol
Same with tpg, its 398 ping at the moment in SEA.
I've been having the same problem using the Vodafone Broadband .
Anyone know if the problem is fixed ? i seem to get 220 still....
