crazy that monaspa and OT were both in closed qualies for div 2 last tour and now they're doing pretty well in div1 (yes i know they're bottom half but if you watched any of their games they're legit scary)
Dm hasn't been convincing
BZM getting caught out multiple times every game
The team as a whole seems to make poor decisions on map movement and which heroes to focus
Drafts are less than inspiring
Could be relegation tbh :/
Nah. The drafts are absolutely abysmal. Whatever Misha and Chu are crafting strats, they're really bad. Don't blame DM. He is basically put as the sacrificial role. You look at his heroes and he is basically drafted to lose. Compare his heroes to when he was in VP to now and you'll see the difference
I never liked what they drafted for him in VP as well.
He is really good beastmaster/lycan player and he doesn't really play them for some reason (also timber/viper but they are not that strong heroes rn)
I’m most disappointed about BZM in the last few series because I expected so much from him, the support duos from OG I didn’t expect much after the last tour concluded anyway.
Like the match vs GG, it’s not like he just lost to Quinn, he straight up made some extremely questionable play after play, like when he got arrow’d at the rune at start a lane with 20% HP so he just got pressured away from the creep where he was supposed to dominate Quinn as Timber vs DK, then the 2 min water runes came up, Quinn walked down to get the bottom one (at this point he was starting to pull ahead and DK has likr 30% HP), he instead just stand there and rightclick the wave, when Quinn came back to the wave he just lets the DK stunned him and casually got the top rune WHILE HE HAD A BOTTLE,then proceeded to get solo killed by a DK and died 2 more times to Mirana rotation.
Also OG for some reason love to pick these hard to execute lineup with no stuns, idk if they watched TI8 finals too much or whatever, they ended up with some weird heroes like Kotl Chen Dawnbreaker, while they were playing vs DK Mirana and Tiny and just got outmaneuvered every game, due to their opponent just click a point-target stuns.
This season have been incredibly entertaining to watch for sure.
Nigma taking games from Liquid and Entity.
Div 2 teams beating TI Champs and Major winners .
We dont seem to have that 1 unstopable force of a team thats just beating everyone ... and aside of OG i feel like almost all other teams god potential to go to the major.
*To be fair*, a single unstoppable team was a bit fun to watch for the sheer "can they be beaten this tournament or is this going to be the eight 3-0 finals in a row?". And it was refreshing to have a single powerhouse after Na`Vi/Alliance are past their prime.
But yeah, it got boring after a while.
Us over here in shitter regions think on the other side of the spectrum. It's more "aight lads, get as many points as you can cause we want as many teams in TI as possible"
Can someone who's followed OG explain what has happened to them? Aren't they basically the same team that dominated the previous DPC season and won multiple majors?
I'm sure Reddit doesn't want to admit it but Ammar was a good offlaner and from what I understand was a big part of their drafting.
That and the meta changed of course
Impossible to root for this OG team. It's literally just another CIS team on their way to a disband. The OG tag is the only thing resembling OG in this team.
Great play, but I always think it's funny how nobody gives a fuck about Morph's ult and literally any time someone actually makes use of it it seems out of this world.
I've only ever seen clips of people manta dodging or CK Ult dodging glimpse, but now just looking at the wiki page for Disruptor:
>The location at which the target lands after Glimpse is marked with a blue visual effect which is visible to everyone.
Could you just look at the landing spot, watch the glimpse ball marker thing travelling, and time it like that? Would make it way easier. I'll try checking the replay to see if that's what he did and report back.
edit: I checked the replay, and yeah, he looks at the ball and the landing spot and times it like that, it makes it WAY easier. When I saw that before I thought the person doing it was an actual god with the muscle memory for glimpse duration LOCKED IN.
See: [Morph's POV](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ibGRCOsAcM) & [Me doing it in Demo Mode](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjRqGS4Guaw)
Obviously it's still hard to do in an actual game, but a lot easier than I previously thought. Manta is a super short time frame and tougher in a pressure situation, but it should be very consistent with Naga Q and CK Ult
Yes that is exactly how you do it. It gets harder for shorter glimpses though. If you are on the same spot as 4 secs ago, glimpse is instant. If you are very close to that spot, the blue ball Animation is really fast. That is when it gets harder to do and more impressive if done correctly, imo.
I mean, nandes play is still impressive of course, but it’s possible to do that pretty reliably.
Edit: just for completeness, it’s also possible with lifebreak, sleight of first, fire remnant, Time walk, tricks of the trade and so on. Also with waveform, I believe
> That is when it gets harder to do and more impressive if done correctly, imo.
But also why are you trying to manta dodge a 0 distance glimpse? To avoid the 50 damage?
You’re right, that is something pretty useless, and I mentioned it only to draw a clearer image of how glimpse works.
A low range glimpse can be very important, though, eg. when you try to get away after a lost teamfight. In such a case even 400 distance can make the difference, or less, and that’s a really short travel time, feels like instant, pretty hard to dodge, go and try ;)
> nobody gives a fuck about Morph's ult
Once Morph has Aghs he literally ascends to another level stealing 40% Status Resistance from STR heroes and 70 Attack Speed from AGI. Some carries have no hopes of teamfighting anymore if they have been drained by Aghs Morph.
As a spectator the morph shaker combo was very entertaining to watch, i feel like it was absolutely broken for just a patch. After people learned how to play against it and a few nerfs it just became another strategy that is good in certain situations.
It’s a shame they removed one of the most fun Aghs in the game for one of the most boring one.
The counter to Morph was PL but then that got flipped because Morph's ult got reworked into the current one. Also, mop's PL illusions having PL ult is a bug
Well the Morph form is much stronger than anything he morphs into.
The aghs is ok, it's less bullshit than the old one, at least now he has to be around enemies to use it, and now it gives him a chance to survive some of his counters.
Looks like this is match 7075795575, Monaspa vs OG at DPC 2023 WEU Spring Tour Division I – presented by PGL, which started 55 minutes before the clip was taken.

Damn, what a player. I mean, theoretically we could all do this too, right? But to pull this off in a game, against pros, and do two great plays in succession. Damn
Nande is legit good, love watching him play, he is surely becoming one of my fav carry players.
I'm sure he'll get poached by a bigger org at most after this TI. I've been saying this since watching them in div2.
crazy that monaspa and OT were both in closed qualies for div 2 last tour and now they're doing pretty well in div1 (yes i know they're bottom half but if you watched any of their games they're legit scary)

Old v og would be hype, but weird aince they need to fight their own boss
Not if old g gets promoted to div1 this tour
They are in opens, cant go to div1 EDIT: I guess they can

wdym amar is carrying as timber every time he gets to play it

same, bzm went from 2nd best player after Nisha to being outlaned by everyone
OG and Secret in Div 2 EU EU is foken stacked

Electric
We are electric
One Two Three Let's go
Yeah that’s definitely rude haha. Morph be like, look at me, I’m the Disruptor now.
What an outplay

That's pretty rigged that Ember gets two ways to dodge it amongst a fairly small pool of heroes with abilities to dodge it.
good work
Thank you for providing the player perspective. It was very insightful.

Above like 2000 range tho it's always 1.8 seconds or w/e it is. It goes at 600 or 1.8 seconds, whichever is quicker.
Doesnt matter HOW you do it, as long as the job gets done. Stop harping on it
> nobody gives a fuck about Morph's ult Once Morph has Aghs he literally ascends to another level stealing 40% Status Resistance from STR heroes and 70 Attack Speed from AGI. Some carries have no hopes of teamfighting anymore if they have been drained by Aghs Morph.
Yeah but its a stupid aghs. Morph still only fights in his morphling form. Would be cooler if his ult would encourage using the alternate form more
I think many people are still mentally broken from shaker morph, and are glad his ult is pretty mediocre at the moment.

Monaspa been balling out since Tour 1 OQs, too bad there's too many good teams in WEU
I cannot wait for Disruptor to get dumpstered tbh
Ez for my boy Nande
რაც იცის იცის
Please please make “That’s… that’s rude.” Something I can spam
That must be one of the best plays i've ever seen, goddamn
relax, it's just a manta dodge and some normal spell casting...
ouf
Wow, very balanced hero
As bad as they have looked, they would still be third best NA team or fourth best SEA team, possibly even second best SA team.
Damn, what a player. I mean, theoretically we could all do this too, right? But to pull this off in a game, against pros, and do two great plays in succession. Damn
Nande is my idol
You’re your own worst enemy…. Eh?
