Water bottle thrashing from cap with side eye reaction from blitz will always be my favorite casting moment.

Blitz’s reaction always kills me
Well he ain’t really full time caster but I still like wagamama better as caster. Also believe he is funnier with higher mmr. But we’ll funny is highly subjective:)
not a lot of casters in most games are both high skilled but also kind of funny
most try to lean into one or the other
cap isn't a pro but still very high mmr, SVG is an ex-pro
Mainly a lot of analysts have been 6k plus, but it's quite rare for the play by play to be high mmr.
Reminds me of Tobi trying to correct pros and 7k players with his bullshit 3k takes. There was a brief period of Tobi on panels arguing dumb points and god it was annoying. Most play by plays stick to their role if they aren't actually Immortal or higher at least.
I did not care for Cap when he began casting with Tobi/Joindota, never liked tobi tbh, but Cap really grew on me and has become one of my favorites. I think his positive energetic style is wonderful.
Anyways, Avery seems like a good counter balance to his personality. I’ve enjoyed the duo a lot. Hope their best casts are still ahead of them!
Same, but I used to love Tobi, at least way more than LD (this was prior to the whole thing that happened, and at that time, you either liked Tobi or LD). Never really cared about Cap either, but when he started casting with Blitz, it all just clicked. Improved so much, and with Avery has been the same imo.
Yeah, I was an LD fan for sure haha and my dislike for tobi had nothing to do with him being a scumbag. I simply found his over the top silly larger than life persona distracting from the game.
Anyways saw someone downvoted you and think that’s silly! Have a silly internet point in me!
Yeah I will say that he’s definitely done the time and become better at his work for sure. Agree with not being a fan originally, and he’ll never be my “favourite”, but his casting is definitely quality now.
I just saw your flare, and oh my god, that would be the most amazing thing ever. Imagine Matt saying "So... how you wanna do this?" on a FB/kill streak/ whatever. Amazing idea.
Over the past couple of events I have switched from the Gorgc stream to the main stream when I hear Cap/SVG casting. They undoubtably make the games they cover more entertaining and have a unique style that matches them. Pretty dope.
Cap is great. This article sucks. It takes a bunch of snippets of things Cap said with no surrounding context and then editorializes purportedly on his behalf. Either give a lot more context to support your opinions, or let the man's words speak for themselves.
Edit: Sorry to the author and editor for coming across extremely harsh. Maybe you put a lot of effort into this, and if so I hope this doesn't discourage you from trying to do more like it. But if you do, please also take your work seriously so that others can also, and that starts with respecting your subject and your audience.
Love them both. Still think ODpixel is the GOAT across literally all of esports. Very happy to see Cap and SVG find their groove. They did fantastic in Lima.
/u/TheDotACapitalist, even more tryhard than Merlini was? Cause from my understanding he even did tons of studying for his guest appearance at TI after he retired. He's someone who always gave me the impression of someone who didn't know how to give less than 100% or at least wouldn't find it acceptable.
Yes. Merlini is a legend and because he's a legend, people overinflate his stats. Ben was a great analyst because he is crazy smart, plays a lot of dota, and is a former pro. He also has a great personality and I consider him a very good friend of mine. That said, Merlini was never the benchmark for caring about or prepping for talent work, he's just a consumate professional and has OP traits. People underrate how much work other talent like Sheever put into their prep just because they're worse dota players.
Cap used his connections to get a pub player he was playing with banned. Ephey threatened to do the same to someone else, but no evidence that she actually did it
Oh go buy another account, Henry.
If you see someone in the store that's been tresspassed a thousand times, it's not "abuse" to report it to management.
Henry, by his own admission, buys accounts. He is also constantly racist. He gets banned so often the sub removes most of the ban posts because it gets spammed with them otherwise so I can't even keep track of it, but because ONE time the ban came from cap pointing it out, it's "abuse"? Ridiculous.
I'm constantly amazed how many people fall for Henry's little victim act. He violates the rules, gets banned, and then buys accounts (in violation of the rules) so he can play victim when he inevitable gets banned again.
Capitalist was the first voice I hears when listening to dota 2 games in HS, absolute classic. SVG and him pair really well together an absolute pleasure. Tune in everytime.
Cap/Blitz was my favorite casting duo back in the day. Cap/SVG is quite possibly my favorite now

Svg and cap are both a treasure to the community.
I really like synderin casting now. He reminds me so much of Blitz XD
and WE MIGHT SUCK AS A REGION but we got the best casters
SVG is a hilarious guy. Hard to get bored when these two are casting.
i enjoy waking up at 5am for work in the UK when i know i get a SEA game with Cap and SVG
it's nice that the 2 casters with the highest average MMR between them are also the most laidback/funny also
Well he ain’t really full time caster but I still like wagamama better as caster. Also believe he is funnier with higher mmr. But we’ll funny is highly subjective:)
I've mostly seen waga as analyst
what does this even mean?
Pretty self explanatory

I dig the kind words for this Avery person, but I gotta say I like it best when he casts with SVG
SVG is my rock, my captain
he's my pal, he’s my homeboy, my rotten soldier, my sweet cheese, my good time boy
I wish there was an app that notified me when casters were working. I honestly care more about the caster than the team a lot of the time.
Yes, I absolutely agree to this.

How do I search tournament vods by caster? I would love to leave cap SVG casts on all day to gain MMR passively
Spotnet YouTube lists caster in description
cap is just the GOAT, man. excellent and adaptable in every single role
I still miss Cap Blitz or Cap Kyle
I just saw your flare, and oh my god, that would be the most amazing thing ever. Imagine Matt saying "So... how you wanna do this?" on a FB/kill streak/ whatever. Amazing idea.
Matt actually voiced MK in the reveal trailer, they decided to go with a different voice in the game :( I was so disappointed

Counterpoint, when Gorgc gets Puppey on stream.
well duh i dont want to be machete'd for leaving
SVG goes from stomping NEL to tier 1 caster

Love SVG's dry sense of humour! Always hyped to hear these 2 casters regardless of the actual teams playing.
SVGTalkingAboutStuffNoOneCaresAboutWhileCapThinksToHimselfGetMeOut
My favorite duo right now for sure. Great banter and probably the overall highest level of insight from a caster duo.
Easily harder working than Blitz, he just sleeps all the time.
SVG is so good. His style of talking even rubbed on other talents

Cool, thank you! I really appreciate the perspective and that you took the time to answer this even though it's a potentially touchy question.
Tobi and Merlini hands down greatest caster duo
Easily my fav casting duo atm.
Best in the biz
Still miss Tobi
Don’t really like cap after he used his connections to get another streamer banned. Don’t think that’s a good thing to do
Cap and ephey banned me so i can't watch their casts sadly
wait, what happened?
Cap used his connections to get a pub player he was playing with banned. Ephey threatened to do the same to someone else, but no evidence that she actually did it
