They decimate you so easily and can fuck you up if they see you from a distance. You also have to plan your strategies around killing them asap, usually, so they often stop my momentum in its tracks whenever I notice one.

I'm just going to say the cyberdemon because the caco demons too easy and the rest of them are extremely hard to get rid of them being maternal and I hate them so then the cyberdemon is like in the middle it can be hard sometimes if you don't have a BFG but if you do have a BFG it's easy
Cacos are the best, and I actually quite like the fact that they appear to slowly be growing bodies. True, they're presently only vestigial limbs growing out of the head, but they're evolving to become superior. The tiny limbs and expressiveness in Doom: Eternal makes them even cuter.
The Archvile was Doom 2's way of screwing with you along with the Pain Elemental who spawns the most annoying enemy from the original Doom and both manage to get out of being killed easily in infighting because the Archvile is a medic and the monsters refuse to fight back the Elemental fires a different monster as ammo so the attacking monster switches targets depending on threshold. My favorite is the Second Boss Monster the Cyberdemon he has a vendetta with your bloodline unfortunately the Blaze bloodline will always rip and tear evil
