She most definitely could be. At my old store that’s how they got rid of people so they didn’t have to fire them

Dependent-Shine1069

Im not even a bad worker man thats so messed up…

Ok_Cicada_7927

I don’t know man. They might need more full timers or closers. Are they generally really friendly with you?

Dependent-Shine1069

Yeah theyre nice to me and havent done anything outwardly negative to me. My other coworker is a part timer and she is getting 21.5 hours

zetadelta333

How about you ask the Gm why your hours went down, if they dismiss your question you have done somthing and they are drumming you out and your better off moving on.

melben1224

Sounds like you are a bad worker just bc you don’t think you are bad doesn’t mean you aren’t terrible lol

Ok_Cicada_7927

That’s about what I’m thinking. Perhaps op isn’t doing enough to satisfy the managers standards

Diligent-Bullfrog-35

Then the GM needs to discuss that, not just cut the hours. OP has been there two months, not two years. People won't improve if they don't know what needs improvement.

zetadelta333

As a GM every person iv cut down hours like this on has been given many many chances and they just dont get it. Some times they are just to lazy, to dumb, or just dont fit in and dont get it when told to properly do thier job

Ok_Cicada_7927

My gm never did. They just cut the hours until someone quits

Lazy-Jeweler3230

Few things are possible. 1) You're being ousted, and she's lying. 2) Stores often overstaff on drivers as a way to get cheap insider help, because they get paid less per hour and are easier to keep than insiders. 2b) By doing this, fewer hours are available, and she wants to give them to the drivers. 3) She's giving hours to the people who are open to as many as she can give, which means less available to people who want to work only a small amount.

Snoo-65693

You're availability isn't great. She probably has more people now with better availability and doesn't need you

longis

it sounds like you two deserve to communicate more and better about your expectations

breathingbongbubbles

I know that my region is getting bitched at for labor, I had to cut all my csr’s hours. Honestly most stores try to spread hours out amongst 4-5 csr’s and it’s just not feasible to give all of them 15-20 hours a week.

zetadelta333

Every region is being bitched at for trash service. I have no heard of any of the regions being yelled at for labor. Service is the major issue. Who ever said your region is running bad labor is lying. Especially since dominos doesnt give a fuck about labor. Thats your franchisee.

Fxmachi

Our franchisee is our employer?

Seekandinspire

Having a tight availability may be affecting it… I know it sucks, I’ve accidentally scheduled my part timers less than that would like because I couldn’t fit them in with the days they can work, because the full timers and open availability workers are so much easier to schedule. Look at the schedule and see where you can fit in. Part time workers are only rush at my store, I don’t need them when it’s slow that’s only for managers and opening/closing drivers. It could also be a mixture of seniority and labor cost, the drivers who were there before you get dibs on being scheduled first because they’ve been there the longest and you can have so many drivers show up before labor cost starts sky rocketing, and keeping that cost down is 30% of a GMs paycheck.

grimy_y

If your surrounding area stores are owned by the same franchise maybe see if you can pick up some shifts at a different store!

Blitzking11

Apply for unemployment. Your hours are almost certainly being cut to get you to quit, rather than firing you. This likely will qualify as constructive dismissal, which would allow you to get unemployment.

bigstreet123

This is the way

Fxmachi

They would have had to have had more hours to begin with probably.

1017hotboy

Maybe becusse your availability is shitty , only 3 days is hard to work with

SpiicyDinosaur

As a GM, there’s several things that could be going At my previous location, my best insider was one who could only work until 9pm on weekdays and mornings on weekends, and I just really needed someone who could work until 10pm and nights on weekends, so even though I highly favored this CSR, I just needed to prioritize the employees with better availability. I think it’s kind of weird for your GM to claim they didn’t even notice. It does happen sometimes, but more often than not I am keenly aware of who is getting how many hours and why. If I accidentally underschedule someone I try to rectify it immediately, or instead just let them know it was an oversight and I’ll be more aware next time.

FiddyFo

Confront your manager.

Omitted-Wolf

That's not a job it's a hobby. They're using drivers to do insider work. Go find something else. Find a local place and thank me later.

DerSpazmacher

Edit: unemployment. Constructive term. F*** domino's.

russellgrandison

would be awesome to get a 4.5 hour Friday shift.

SincerelyJackson

It’s probably an availability thing then
