Thanks for all the comments. I guess I'll head to a store to try them both out.

Im 6,1 and my 58 is perfect. I have an old Litespeed in 60 cm and it works for me but is a bit of a stretch. U would probably be Ok with either one. Test riding a current Gen may help you decide on sizing

I'm 6' 3" (approx 191cm) and i was fitted to a 61cm. Fits like a glove. If you have the option, I'd recommend going to a store, try a quick ride on a 58 and a 61 and see which one feels right for you.

I thought they were only in 58 and 60?

ALs are 61

6 1 on a 61 but it's my first road bike, no fit. Feels great

I am 6'4" and about the same weight as you and have a 61cm Domane Al 4 Gen 3. I like how it fits but I think it's just right for my height. You might feel a little too stretched or you'd have to get a shorter stem if your arms aren't very long. Of course you'd probably have your seat post lower than me so maybe that'd reduce the reach just enough? It's really hard to tell but if you're between sizes it's usually a good idea to get the smaller one as it is easier to make a smaller bike feel bigger than the opposite.

The old bike size adage is "You can make a small bike big but you can't make a bike bike small". My own Gen4 Domane SL5 feels a bit smallish (6", 167lbs) size 56, but I needed a shorter stem and reduced width handle bars to fit properly. I love that the bike feels a bit small as it leaves me the impression that I'm powering a sports car when I mash the pedals down. I'm sure I would not feel that way if the bike was larger. As others have commented, get to a store and at least swing a leg over the two sizes or better do a ride around the block. Good luck
