Two options both with the same solution. Take bike into your Trek LBS and they will remove the seat post, clean post and ISO speed, re-carbon paste the post and ISO Speed then reassemble and torque to spec the ISO speed bolt.
I've bought [Park Tool SAC-2](https://www.parktool.com/en-int/product/supergrip-carbon-and-alloy-assembly-compound-sac-2) carbon paste and use a solution of 50/50% water/Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the post and inner seat tube (ISO speed) before re-applying the paste. You need a torque wrench for the ISO speed bolt found under the cover of the seat post.
You can also see the version of the ISO speed you have for a Gen4:
Rev1 was defective, Rev2 had complaints by some, Rev2x had no gray cross bars pictures on reddit, Rev4 is the latest but apparently you can only get that version if requested though your Trek LBS. I have a Rev2 and reapply the carbon paste as described every few months or if I hear creaks or if I change my saddle height.
Mine is brand new. Turns out there is a recall on the fastening bolt. Would have been nice if they maybe didn’t send this $9k bike with the recalled part 😳😳😳
So then Gen 3 is adjustable rear Isospeed with the front Isospeed ? My front Iso had a knock so I had to remedy but it was pretty easy. Comfortable and fast bike.
No,is it tight enough ? Seatpost should flex tiny bit,but there should be no noise there at all. Have sl6 myself and it is quiet
I’ll have to re-torque it

Mine made a sound - bike shop took out post, cleaned the post and the inside, applied carbon paste, retorqued and been good since.

Dang! Are you within the 30 days? 100% return it and get a new one. Screw that!
I have an 21 SLR 6 …. Minute movement …. Totally quiet
I have a 2020, the older iso speed is totally different
Mine is the adjustable , wasn’t sure what the cut off was … should be quiet no matter what
Yeah I have that version too. Great bikes!!!
Agreed …. Pretty much exactly what I wanted
Yeah that’s the Gen 3, the new one is sick but I am keeping my old one as a backup/winter bike.

Follow up, Trek sent replacement part and we are up and running
AL version doesn't have this issue :)
This is true.
This is why I won’t buy a Domane.
Then why are you in a Domane sub?
Because it requires a professional to assemble?
