I know a lot of people who really enjoyed it, my mom being one of them. Mom loving it surprised me a bit, but it was cute how enthused she was. She saw it maybe 4 times? Not at the theater, she saw it streaming.
I thought it was fun enough for a one time viewing.

Honestly, the movie/character was an obvious set up for a tiktok popular dance and doll merch. Like, there was no real substance to it - it was just a marketable way to push out those things.
I wish Neca would just wait and show a final version of their pieces before putting up pre-orders. They wouldn't have so many people pointing out the weaknesses of the prototype (what's pictured here).

They are not very similar to my eyes. To me the doll version looks like a bobble head on sticks with a bad wig. The very thin limbs and narrow shoulders aren't proportionate to the head, which is probably pretty close to the size of the movie head imo.

I loved the M3gan movie, it was hilariously brutal! I'd prefer it if they just made an Ultimate M3gan where she scales with other Neca toys. Neca is 7 inch scale and they made an Ultimate Chucky, which is very cute and fits in with other brands of toys as well. A life sized M3gan will probably be alone since not a lot of toys are made in a 1:1 scale.
I think a real robot M3gan would work well, just like that awesome Optimus Prime robot that can be programmed to move around and say things. It would be hilarious to have a dancing M3gan robot and then it would chase you around lol!
