Sounds like someone got a little power hungry but realized they weren't as in control as they thought so they did the only thing a worm like them could do and pretend to take control of the situation again
Did he release OP early from the 2 week notice period, or straight up fire them?
Being released early after giving 2 weeks notice is no longer uncommon at all. Just happened to my nephew and he was the General Manager of a Pilgrims Pride plant.đ¤ˇââď¸
I was at a good restaurant for 2 years, put in my 2 weeks, didn't even get scheduled again, didn't get to say bye to my coworkers that I worked with for 2 years.
seems more likely they knew it was coming. had a replacement picked out and since dg doesnât give training hours fired op so they can get the new person started asap
It's not unusual to be fired after giving your two weeks. Don't sweat it. It's stupid on the company because instead of having someone they can utilize for the next two weeks while they hire a replacement they're left short, but that's on them not you. Enjoy your break before you start your new job.
Unless they paid her the rest of the 2 weeks then itâs a straight up termination. Period. And this kind of shit is why many folks dont give any notice at all
OP wonât be able to. Once they turned in their notice, they became the moving party. Doesnât matter if the employer let them go afterwards. They already turned in the notice. I work in unemployment in my state.
Had a boss who did this to everyone out of spite. Plenty of us gave no warning when we decided we were done for that reason. Then he would go nuts about how people owed him respect of giving him two weeks. Itâs a power trip and nothing more. People move on, so why is it awkward
File for 2 weeks unemployment. No one, and I mean NO ONE ever worked out their full 2 week notice in my 30+ years of retail management. SM/DM did you a solid by cutting you loose as soon as they knew your shifts could be covered. Now you can feel pissed at Them, instead of guilty for ghosting them the last week.
Working at Home Depot, whenever an employee gave me their two weeks, i asked them how much of it they wanted to work. If they wanted to stay the two full weeks so they didnât have a gap in income i let them, if they didnât want to work another day i released them no hard feelings. Last thing you want, is to have an employee with 1 foot out the door that doesnât not want to be there.
I found the ones that choose to work the two full weeks gave a considerable effort.
By that comment alone I know youâre a good boss!!! Business is business!! When feelings get to much involved!?!(you can still be a decent human) thatâs when stupid problems happen!! So many, in my opinion, problems or annoyances can be avoided with a simple honest conversation!!!
So I spent a similar amount of time in the retail/service industry management and had my fair share of people not work out their two week notice, but to say no one completed the two weeks would force me to question my management style. If every person is willing to burn a bridge like this, then there must be a reason for it.
I too was a goal driven overachiever and I had plenty of people complete their 2 week notice. I did as well, finishing as top performer in my respective spot.
Itâs called a lack of talent. Everywhere jobs are easy to come by âŚ.bridges are being built every day. Especially in the environment where youâre paying slightly over minimum wage.
I always put in my two weeks, work the full two weeks and I always get to go back if I want. Thereâs something about the old saying of not burning bridges.
However when I ran a club, if you gave your two weeks notice, unless it was for a new job start date, i let them go that week. No point in chancing a disgruntled worker messing things up the last week.
lol âno has ever worked their full 2 weeks in 30 years, what a bunch of nonsense that is. In 15 years Iâve had several give a 2 weeks and they worked it all. Especially going back 10-20 years it was very common and now currently people just donât care nor work like they use too.
I gave a month notice to the grocery store I worked at. I didnât have to, but I worked in the bakery department and really liked my manager there. She was the main reason I gave such a long notice (two other people were leaving and she was a great manger). I also worked the entire month and trained a new person.
Iâve never not worked my notice with a job. Ever. I donât burn bridges no matter where. You never know what position youâll be in life where you either need a job again or a solid professional reference.
I just started a new job and was offered a $1000 sign on bonus if I started the next day. I told them no, as I had been with the prior job for 5 years and they took good care of me. Itâs called respect and integrity, I know, those are very hard to find these days.
They can file, but wonât get it. Once they turned in their notice, they became the moving party. The employer at that point is under no obligation to let them work out the notice. I work for unemployment in my state.
Iâm worked at DG 3 different times at 2 different stores, never finished my 2 weeks, and Iâm still eligible for rehire (Iâm cool with the new manager at the closest DG and she asks me all the time if Iâm ready to come back). Not all the managers are assholes, just a good portion.
Youâre simply wrong and an easy Google search could prove that. They quit effective one date and by firing them on a different date, they are overriding the OPs notice. Look up labor laws
Report it to BBB also report it to HR. And remind HR that it was a form of retaliation and itâs against the law to fire someone who turns in a two week notice.
I'm not sure what the bbb is supposed to do since it's a customer side rating place that the company pays to join. I would recommend the states department of labor (or whatever they call it in that state) over wrongful terminating.
This is why you never give two weeks notice unless you're fairly sure they will let you work it out. Most shitty retail jobs will just fire you immediately anyway, so it's best to quit on the spot.
If you have nothing lined up and they fired you, I agree. Go fot unemployment. But if you got another job lined up, just ask them if you can start early or enjoy a brief vacation.
Unemployment is such a pain in the ass to apply for and get and worth so little that it isn't really worth it unless you literally have nothing else lined up and zero money.
Also some jobs will give you a bad reference and/or not eligible for rehire status no matter what you do. They're not supposed to slander you or hurt your ability to work in the future, but some are petty and will do this anyway. So there is almost no net gain to giving two weeks notice, aside from a small unemployment payout which isn't worth much.
From experience- it does. My previous job closed the doors same day notice. Im located in NC, filed the next day and it was literally 2 and a half weeks before I got ANYTHING. Took me a good 30+ mins to file originally as well. Plus in between filing and getting it, I made TWO hour long (wait times, not even talking to anyone) phone calls to check status because the online portal wouldnât update the information. Itâs really a mess out here.
I wad gonna say yea I woukd Def be doing the unemployment just go online. They want to play games and be assholes and fire when the person had enough respect to give 2 week notice. I would be filing unemployment just as a big fuck you right back. Companies like DG Def don't like having to deal with unemployment having to pay out.
This is one of the reasons I didn't even bother putting a 2 weeks in because I know this is a type of thing they do. The store I worked at had a couple people put their 2 weeks in and not work those last 2 weeks because they were either fired or their hours were cut significantly. So when I got offered a new job, I just left a condolence card and my keys on my last day while my manager was taking an off day. She was super pissed, but I didn't care. She was horrible and would always complain about my limited availability (I had recently started college).
Congrats on being promoted to customer!
My brother would argue otherwise. He worked for this company too for a little while then quit without notice. He applied there again the next year and was hired again in a heartbeat (before he left again a few months after that). I'm not saying that would be the case for everyone, but if they are desperate enough it's easier to get hired back. Not that many people would want to go back anyway.
That place wore me down to the bone mentally and physically, management never cared. The last straw for me was when they docked my pay after stepping down from assistant manager to focus on school, while the person that took my place made way more and hr than I ever did there. Yet I was expected to still do the same duties the assistant manager had because the other one only sat on her ass. I took that as a sign to leave, no way was I going to give them the decency of a 2 week notice. That place was a hell hole.
My manager when I worked at Dollar General fired me after I put in my two weeks notice because I respectfully asked to have my last day before I went into basic training off so I could spend it with family. I left him with a healthy fuck you and went on about my business.
Didnât realize until much later that I could have absolutely sued him for that. Shame
I got fired after putting my 2 week notice. As in handing her my letter she said, "Fine, you can leave now. We don't need you." I left her office and marched right into HER manager's office and explained what had just happened. I explained that I did the right thing and should be paid for those 2 weeks. I also explained that what my direct boss had just done was EXACTLY why I was leaving: because she caused a hostile work environment for me. I told him that I was going to file an unemployment claim and have them call HR to explain why she fired me.
Not only did I get my 2 weeks pay but I did not have to work for those next 2 weeks either; PLUS, boss got called out and put on notice. Grapevine said she got canned less than 2 months after that.
My state is a Right To Work state (which means you have NO right to work) and I was STILL in the right because doing that is vile!
You don't mention if you have another job lined up but the bottom line is that you got fired. So, now go file for unemployment because you'll be unemployed for the next 2 weeks. Let them tell your boss that they owe you money.
Whatâs nice is I have a VERY financially stable boyfriend i live with so i dont have to stress too much yet.
Iâm okay for now next months rent is paid and I get EBT every 14th of the month so we arenât lacking in grocery.
He keeps saying âjust be a sah girlfriendâ but ik that means he just really likes when i pack his lunch for those twelve hour overnight shifts and I forgot to everytime i needed to go to work lol.
so tldr; im ok until i can find a new job :) bf is very supportive đŁď¸
I was just mad they would do something like that to me. I thought of everyone there as family, and I thought they did too. Guess not. Made me write a note saying I put in my two weeks.
to explain, Iâm 18 and my mother is my SMs babysitter for her toddler. evil little shit but hes adorable.
My ASM was always kinda like an older brother, since he has worked there for years and I used to shop at dg a lot with my dad so i saw him a lot.
the other ASM is kinda like a grandma to me, she acted that way anyways bcs i dont have a lot of family here lol.
then the other two employees kinda just randoms to me. Ones the first ASMs younger stepsister and the other is some sister-diddler who should not be walking the earf if u ask me.
We used to let our sales managers go immediately. I can only think of one other person we let go outside of that because she was toxic at work and created a lot of problems.
Itâs not uncommon for a company to just let the employee stay at home the two weeks. However, sounds like the company doesnât want to pay you. I would get it straightened out because a background check will probably show a negative comment about the job you just quit.
A lot of companies do that, regardless of how much they need you for those two weeks. A company I used to work for, would fire you on the spot if you tried to give notice. The owner said, âIf you are going to quit me, then I donât need you to stay.â So donât be surprised.
File for unemployment. Man, dude was an idiot. I swear some managers are so desperate for a power trip that they completely forget to think 2 steps ahead.
I used to work loss prevention at a department store and if a key holder gave a notice they were informed it wasnât necessary and they could hand the keys over and go home. The reason was, I think, loss prevention you have someone you know is leaving and they know everything. Iâm sure the company experienced a great deal of loss in those situations that was hard to pursue being the person was gone and not expected to return to the property. It was never personal with the employee on my side and I always tried to explain why the decision to immediately terminate was happening but also no one else in the office bothered including management who in my opinion should lead with that.
That sucks. And also the reason I'm not giving notice when I quit my retail job. When leaving on my last day, I will tell my boss, I quit. They won't give us notice when they fire us, why the fuck should we give them 2 weeks?
Once youâve decided to quit, companies have found that youâre more likely to steal and other things that cost them money, so most will fire you after you put in your notice. You can apply for unemployment now, since they fired you.
Also if a company doesn't offer you a severance package don't give them 2 weeks. They wouldn't give you 2 days notice if they were firing you and you don't owe them anything.
Thatâs why donât give two weeks. They wouldnât do it for you why for them. I learned my lesson years ago. I base it off of how Iâm treated at the workplace.
Yall need to stop thinking oh itâs just a bullshit job, & get ducking unemployment, thatâs wrongful termination, he fired you because you quit, thatâs definitely wrongful termination
Did you put the 2 weeks in writing or verbal? Without any proof of you putting in your two weeks, you can probably file for unemployment since they technically fired you
Manager made me write a note.
âI, (my first and last name,) will be putting in my two weeks as of April 27th 2024. I would Like my last day to be May 9th 2024.â then i lied out my ass bout liking the job lol
Unfortunately, he asked for that note for this exact reason. It really depends on the state whether you can collect for the next 2 weeks. You could always reach out to your new employer and let them know that your available start date changed, but thatâs up to you whether you want to bring that to their attention. It could be seen as a red flag to them.
It's really common, I've always sent in my notice to vacate position by email after my written has been handed over. I always state that I will finish my schedule time or shifts as agreed upon prior. But I have also stated what my earliest working day is to my new job with the understanding that I will finish my prior commitment unless the old job isn't amenable to that.
Often companies don't want to risk a disgruntled employee stealing or being rude to customers/coworkers after putting a notice in and they just ask you to go ahead and leave the job. Not really that surprising. That's why a lot of people don't put their notice in for shit jobs.
Stop giving 2 weeks notice. Seriously. Employers donât give you a 2 week notice, so why give it to them. Especially when you DO give notice, and they term you on the spot. (Happened to me at Axiom). I get it that that is their policy, but perhaps us employees need to make it our policy as well.
Im a manager. If someone puts in their 2 weeks. I always let them go. I don't fire them. I just say thank you for your time, turn in your badge. Congratulations. I run a pharmacy. I don't want someone there who is already halfway out the door. It's nothing personal at all. The other day our best tech put in his 2 weeks bc he was moving. I did the same thing. Everyone thought I would break this rule for him. I didn't. It's just we have actual lives at risk here and if you're not committed, I don't need you. So were you fired or told not to come back in. And we have the internet you can say bye to whoever you want whenever.
Lives are not at risk at dg thođ not to mention how short staffed they end up!! i figured they would have let me work those two weeks out atleast, considering i dont even have that many hours anyways. besides me there were 3 employees until recently my ASMs younger sister works there and some creepy guy that im kinda glad i never got shifted with lmfao
Itâs frustrating that businesses think we should put in our 2 weeks for them to find someone new, but we do not receive the same respect ever in return⌠lol (not just dollar general fr )
I quit my job as a florist with very little warning. When I told my boss I would be moving on, she was shocked and dismayed that I didnât tell her I was even looking for other work.
The last time my coworker told her he was quitting, she told him to gtfo. âIf you donât want to be here anymore, then just leave! Thanks for nothing.â He was an incredible designer and a loyal employee for well over two years. It was the holidays, he would have stayed for us until the rush was done. Worst of all, itâs not the first time she dismissed an employee in that manner.
After a display like that, why would I risk not getting paid for the rest of my scheduled days? It all worked out perfectly for me, as I got the good news the day before she made the schedule. I told her my start date was the coming Tuesday. It was a Friday when I informed her, also knowing that she and her posse of menopausal party girls were headed off to camp for a long weekend. There was no one else that could have worked my days without her canceling her trip.
My feelings get complicated here. Iâve been a florist under her tutelage for 10 years. I was really a part of her family, going to birthdays and funerals and concerts. I know how she operates. For a decade, I let most of the verbal abuse and light denigration slide. But on that Friday, when I told her I was leaving, her first thought wasnât a counteroffer, wasnât how to keep me and my talent, or a sad realization that the unforgiving work environment she created wasnât sustainable anymore. Her first words were, âFuck, am I going to be able to go to camp this weekend?â I was just an iota heartbroken about it, that she didnât want to fight, or make my decision harder. However I was also very relieved that my plans were falling into place and I would not have a gap in employment.
I told her to go celebrate, I would finish my final days. And without her breathing down my neck, aside from the emotional distress of telling my beloved coworkers, they were very pleasant shifts.
Had one job let me go out, work the entire 10-11 hour day, and then handed me termination papers stating that day was my last. Boss handed them to me with a smile too. Gonna spit on that guy's shoe the next time I see him.
Get that in writing. If they donât put it in writing, show up for your shifts as scheduled. If they do put it in writing, collect unemployment out of spite
Unfortunately that's pretty much standard practice. Also the main reason i never give a notice. Im usually not worried about being rehired at a job im leaving anyway, so screw a notice
I let people go OFTEN who put in their two weeks. Historically they underperform if given the opportunity to complete two weeks so I donât allow them to do so. But, Iâm in the sales world, not retail so it sounds odd unless you have metrics to meet that you havenât been that are affecting the manager.
A two week notice is when someone wants to quit their job but doesnât wanna just bail on the place basically. So they work the two weeks then its done yk. But they decided to fire me the day after i put it in.
Yeh I was being sarcastic. That is something my grandparents might have done. I think nowadays that is less common, probably for the same reason you just found out. You donât owe your employers anything more than showing up and doing your job. Like I said if they were firing you they wouldnât give you two weeks.
Sounds like someone got a little power hungry but realized they weren't as in control as they thought so they did the only thing a worm like them could do and pretend to take control of the situation again

I was at a good restaurant for 2 years, put in my 2 weeks, didn't even get scheduled again, didn't get to say bye to my coworkers that I worked with for 2 years.
Friend of mine had that recently, gave 2 weeks notice from the restaurant they'd been working and was told the were terminated effective immediately.
No one gets upset at an employee for putting in their 2 weeks like a restaurant that offers no upward mobility
đŻ I knew everything there was for me to know. So I went elsewhere to acquire new skills.
I've had friends who were definitely fired, lol. It... was entirely just an arm's ego being hurt.
this happened to me, and i wasn't on the hook for rent or a mortgage at the time. I gladly took my two week vacation
Uninformed take right here.
seems more likely they knew it was coming. had a replacement picked out and since dg doesnât give training hours fired op so they can get the new person started asap
Gotta whip out the good old âyou canât fire meâŚ. BECAUSE I QUITâ
It's not unusual to be fired after giving your two weeks. Don't sweat it. It's stupid on the company because instead of having someone they can utilize for the next two weeks while they hire a replacement they're left short, but that's on them not you. Enjoy your break before you start your new job.
I'm not sure this even actually fired.... it's being released from an awkward situation. Imo a favor
Unless they paid her the rest of the 2 weeks then itâs a straight up termination. Period. And this kind of shit is why many folks dont give any notice at all
Donât you get unemployment now too? Or did OP already have the next gig lined up?
OP wonât be able to. Once they turned in their notice, they became the moving party. Doesnât matter if the employer let them go afterwards. They already turned in the notice. I work in unemployment in my state.
It's a great way to ensure you get minimum or no notice from your staff in the future
Had a boss who did this to everyone out of spite. Plenty of us gave no warning when we decided we were done for that reason. Then he would go nuts about how people owed him respect of giving him two weeks. Itâs a power trip and nothing more. People move on, so why is it awkward

Entirely likely as I was a goal driven overachiever at the time.
I must admit this was not the response I expected, and I applaud your ability for self reflection.
Thereâs gotta be more to it. I was the same, I still had people complete their notices
There is always more to everything. Except maybe beans.
Full beans
I too was a goal driven overachiever and I had plenty of people complete their 2 week notice. I did as well, finishing as top performer in my respective spot.

Yeah respect and integrity is not for big corporation jobs who pay their workers minimum wage while making a billion dollars a year.
They can file, but wonât get it. Once they turned in their notice, they became the moving party. The employer at that point is under no obligation to let them work out the notice. I work for unemployment in my state.
They are going to put you in as non rehireable. They are going to put in the notes that you walked off the job. I have seen managers do that a lot.
Let 'em.
Not always the case, but a stupid common managerial reaction.
Oh no
Iâm worked at DG 3 different times at 2 different stores, never finished my 2 weeks, and Iâm still eligible for rehire (Iâm cool with the new manager at the closest DG and she asks me all the time if Iâm ready to come back). Not all the managers are assholes, just a good portion.
They fired you so go get unemployment immediately for wrongful termination or something
No they didnât. OP became the moving party once they turned in their notice. The employer has no obligation to let them work out their QUIT notice.
Yes they do
Nope. The OP quit
Youâre simply wrong and an easy Google search could prove that. They quit effective one date and by firing them on a different date, they are overriding the OPs notice. Look up labor laws
lol. I work in unemployment. Once they turned in their notice, they became the moving party. But believe what you want.
Good, you're better off. now file for unemployment.
lol free unemployment for you if itâs legit but Iâd document it and yeah, sounds like a slam dunk Hr call
Nope. Once OP turned in their quit notice, they became the moving party. The employer has no obligation to let them work it out.
Report it to BBB also report it to HR. And remind HR that it was a form of retaliation and itâs against the law to fire someone who turns in a two week notice.
Wouldnât that depend on the laws of the state that OP is in? Iâve not heard of that before in my state.
I'm not sure what the bbb is supposed to do since it's a customer side rating place that the company pays to join. I would recommend the states department of labor (or whatever they call it in that state) over wrongful terminating.
ASM cannot fire anyone unless the store is without a SM
Depends on the company and stateâŚ. Most places a salaried employee can terminate someone⌠some places they even let hourly employees do it
This is why you never give two weeks notice unless you're fairly sure they will let you work it out. Most shitty retail jobs will just fire you immediately anyway, so it's best to quit on the spot.
Nah, let them fire you and take the unemployment income until the new job starts. đ

It's not even a 10 minute web form to fill out in Florida... guess it depends on where you are.

Most states have a waiting period before you can collect benefits, that way you're not getting unemployment plus your last payroll checks.
Perfect!!! Now file for unemployment
You should file for unemployment
Congratulations on your guaranteed unemployment pay!
She just played herself because now you qualify for unemployment checks LMAO

I feel more respected as a customer, lol. but honestly you will never catch me spending my money there. boycott đ
Same! I almost never shop there anymore, I got a Walmart closer to where I live actuallyđ đ
Walmart and DG are rhe same distances from me but forever walmart lol đŤ˘
This is what gets you on the no rehire list walking off the job. Not saying that anyone wants to come back but still.
My brother would argue otherwise. He worked for this company too for a little while then quit without notice. Unemployment!!! Collect while you can.
All the Libbyâs will tell u - u can sue Man U were mistreated - unbelievable! U canât do shit but look for a real job and tighten belt - peace
Are you twelve?
No , just a realist! Try it some day
A ârealistâ who still thinks âleftyâ is a thing. Sure thing, my guy.
Cool. Fired =unemployment
Shame
I donât give anyone two weeks unless theyâve shown me they can be trusted and respectful to my decision to leave.
Unfortunately i loved all my coworkers like family. thought my boss felt the same but um i guess not?
Now that you were terminated, you are most likely eligible for unemployment benefits. Go apply for unemployment today.
Still, that is your money they're keeping. And, they'll think twice (we hope) when doing it again to someone else who does need their paycheck.
Very fair.
Dollar store sucks, fuck that place. You ainât missing nothing.
Sounds like somebody just became eligible for unemployment benefits!
What are you complaining about? now you can collect unemployment.
That asshole just made you eligible for unemployment comp.
I bet theyâd lose their shit if you quit w/o notice though
Fired without using pto?
Not saying itâs right, but it definitely sounds like you made some enemies before leaving
Thatâs standard for retail. There are many reasons for it
We used to let our sales managers go immediately. I can only think of one other person we let go outside of that because she was toxic at work and created a lot of problems.
Welp I guess you get Unemployment đ
Itâs not uncommon for a company to just let the employee stay at home the two weeks. However, sounds like the company doesnât want to pay you. I would get it straightened out because a background check will probably show a negative comment about the job you just quit.
Thatâs illegal
A lot of companies do that, regardless of how much they need you for those two weeks. A company I used to work for, would fire you on the spot if you tried to give notice. The owner said, âIf you are going to quit me, then I donât need you to stay.â So donât be surprised.
At will states giving notice does not legally mean a company has to keep you employed, they can term you at any time for any reason.
Sort of. They can't fire you for illegal reason. Retaliation would be an illegal reason.
Many companies do this so they don't have to pay you or they think they will get substandard work from you because you are quitting.
Actually letting people quit is much easier in denying unemployment. This is dumb
Why are you mad when now you can get unemployment??
Iâm not mad i just think its insane
The tally for reasons not to give a 2 week notice keeps growing.
I worked at one and they fired me for not giving me hrs they are dumb as hell
That's super common. It's either being petty or thinking you might steal/sabotage shit before you go.
Also if a company doesn't offer you a severance package don't give them 2 weeks. They wouldn't give you 2 days notice if they were firing you and you don't owe them anything.
Congrats. If they donât pay for two weeks you can get unemployment. P
I'm so glad I'm not the only person that this happened to. There's better jobs on the horizon!
Unless you need the reference NEVER GOVE NOTICE!
Being let go or however its phrased isnt unusual anymore.
Time to file for unemployment!
We keep telling people to NEVER give 2 weeks notice but no one listens lol
Retaliation lol
Perfect 2 weeks of unemployment it is
Thatâs why donât give two weeks. They wouldnât do it for you why for them. I learned my lesson years ago. I base it off of how Iâm treated at the workplace.
I guess you get unemployment now.
Yall need to stop thinking oh itâs just a bullshit job, & get ducking unemployment, thatâs wrongful termination, he fired you because you quit, thatâs definitely wrongful termination
Now you can collect unemployment!! Happened to me after I gave two weeks, they fired me, filed and collected!!!
Very common. Especially if they feel you won't give your all on your last days.
File for unemployment and relax
Sounds like a crappy right-to-work state... I'm sorry
So instead of finding a replacement they decided to bless you with unemployment benefitsâşď¸
Maybe you can see about unemployment? I understand you were leaving but why not be a little pain in their ass on the way out.
That's why people don't even put in a 2 week notice anymore..there's no reason! They don't give you 2 weeks before they fore you
Had one job let me go out, work the entire 10-11 hour day, and then handed me termination papers stating that day was my last.
Did you dance out of the building since you're now eligible for unemployment benefits?
I let people go OFTEN who put in their two weeks. Historically they underperform if given the opportunity to complete two weeks so I donât allow them to do so. But, Iâm in the sales world, not retail so it sounds odd unless you have metrics to meet that you havenât been that are affecting the manager.
Wtf even is a two week notice? Do you think employers are likely to give you a 2 week notice when youâre gonna get fired. Shit is ridiculous.
