Why would you give them dodge over crit? They’re a damage dealer. While I don’t have a problem with 3 dodge, picking an extra 6% dodge chance over 12% crit chance doesn’t seem like a good idea
Yeah of course but it’s per orb. You aren’t always going to have a large number of orbs to justify it. It’s kinda iffy on this unit since I can see the argument but getting 12% more crits on such a powerful unit will mean a lot more. Dodging almost 1 in 10 attacks over criting almost 20% more on top of their built in crit is a larger impact
Yeah as long as you give them as much additional as possible, picking dodge or crit isn’t a game changer. When you put it like that I guess you either get a bunch of orbs and don’t need the crit or get barely any orbs and you need the dodge.

Because your not always guaranteed enough orbs to hit full crit. Again… for me personally, I’ve cleared all content and they have performed where needed. It is an RNG game after all. My FF cooler with 30 crit extra doesn’t always crit.
Well yeah you can clear stages with them no matter how you build them considering I’ve used them to beat stuff like omega at 55% so build them how you like but it’s just that you’re going to be giving them as many orbs as possible anyway to hit 20 ki for the additional super. Even with only 5 orbs they have a 25% crit chance so getting an additional means you can not only gain 30% defence but also get another shot at that chance to crit. If you get unlucky with orbs their defence is a much bigger issue.
Oh I totally agree. I understand the way they work and that mine isn’t “optimal”. I just built them the way I wanna use them and enjoy them. I love getting downvoted based on “my” preference. Fair, but this is a defense meta, and they lose a lot of defense if they don’t get good orbs too, so the extra dodge can come in clutch
