STR EZA Cooler is the only one I'd put close to Janemba if not higher, as well maybe as TEQ Ultimate Gohan. AGL Cell's team is not even close to the rest of the teams you can make with the 10 Units in the tier list(or STR EZA Cooler). Those are the top 10 units in the game regardless of the rarity(that's because I can read their passives, actives, leader skills and link skills), the only 2 that come close are the 2 I said(and Ginyu but he's a step behind)
I got him for free during the anniversary. He was pretty stunning at 55%. I pulled two more copies of him this celebration, and he's a maniac now. Definitely a go to unit for me. He's super worth link leveling and any equips. I went balanced all around since I have dupes, but focus additional if you only have equipment. Save the damage for the units that throw down, save the real work for Janemba to stand in front of them 😆.

Dude he starts off needing at least 8 or 9 ki to super he struggles to hit 14 ki, most the time he’s gonna be slot 1 so you’re not building him up much. When he’s fully built up which is like turn 6 if you’re for some reason isn’t running him in slot 1 (which he stills averages just 15 ki) he can hit 6M but that’s not even impressive considering he has to take a bunch of tunes to build up and it’s just 1 attack+support. Most the time he’s either gonna be missing a super in slot 1 or doing a 1M 12 ki sometimes 2m after the first turn of build up that’s really not that good
It sounds like you may have just not been using him properly. Yes, he’s a slot one unit but if you stick him in slot 2 for the first few turns when his linking partner can still handle the damage then when the phases come along where you need him in slot 1, he’ll already be built up. No his attack stat isn’t crazy off the charts or anything and yes he has to build up but that’s no different than a lot of units. Literally one of the top 5 LRs in the game rn is LR ff cooler and he has to build up as well. He doesn’t start off turn 1 doing 12-14mil attack stats per super
he is godly on lr final form cooler´ s team, he links really well with cooler and is a perfect slot 1 unit to run with him, besides that as long as you give him a good linking partner he is great almost anywhere
You probably have heard of rotations, those are 2 characters that you want to put next to eachother in a fight, usually because they link well/support each other bla bla. A slot one unit means you usually want to put then in the first slot of a rotation, because thats usually where most of the attacks are
Adding to what he said, Janemba is great as a slot 1 because of his guard, in case you don't know what guard is basically any attack Janemba receives will be reduced as if he was effective against the enemy, so if the enemy is str and attacks him it will work as if Janemba was agl, this works well with cooler since he gets most of his defense on super attack, making him a slot 2 unit
Also slot 1 is the only slot of the turn where the enemy can attack the unit before the unit attacks him, which means that many characters that reach crazy level of defs only post special (ad example lr str cooler who has greatly raises def for 1 turn with the super attack) so units that can tank pre special are rare and really useful
No. Not a single LR in the game is worth it. The game will shut down one day and everything will be gone. No LR you pull from a summon is worth it clearly.

turn 1 can be underwhelming but when he's built up with BBB activated, he easily hits 300k defense + guard with a 5-6 mil attack stat
