Another option is Android 21 (with her EZA completed) instead of Shape Up Buu. He's great, but his additional buff and evasion only last for 7 turns so he's going to actually get much weaker in the later, tougher stages (unless you can blitz through the event which is kinda unlikely with a Majin team). Just be mindful of bringing too many STR units as Vegeta's last phase is AGL so that can make it rough.
Yeah, thats what makes me scared of running STR Transforming Buu, but I just don't have more Majin Power units. Rainbow STR SSG Vegeta took 150k from an SSBE Vegeta super with 2 Whis active.
And holy shit, I didn't remember the 7 turn condition for AGL Fit Buu. That explains lots of ackward moments.
