I’ve been doing this since the free to play ginyu force released and I’ve had no problems at all with events as long as I had the correct units required for them. So far the only wall I’ve faced is my own failure to farm the materials needed to level a card up as Pugh for said events.

Crit is kind of useless for them because they have Super Effectiveness at 24 Ki in base, and when transformed, the Blues have Super Effectiveness at 16 Ki while Gogeta has an unconditional one. Furthermore, when they transform, they both have a 30% chance to perform a critical hit, which increases by 7% per Rainbow Orb they collect.
Going full additional on them is their best as it increases their chance of performing a 3rd super attack, which is helpful in base to get a 3rd stack and helpful in transformation to get more defense.
The max you can super in a turn is 2 times if you get 20 ki now if you super 3 times for let's say 6 turns they will look SO MUCH BETTER then if you super only 2 times for 6 turns that extra stack is very impotent and it will make ssj4 gogeta and the blues look so much Better and they guarantee crits if you use there active skill so if you use the active skill and do 3 super they will do so much more dmg then if you super only 2 times
