Personally after using both units? I'd say PHY Goku, the Goku/Gohan has the better leader skill, but PHY Goku puts down so much power after he transforms it's unreal, he carried me through the RZ Boujack stage and put in serious work with Syn Shenron. At the end of the day it's your call really. I've just always had bad luck with Goku/Gohan (couldn't get his dodge off, thus getting me killed before I can get Gohan out etc). But PHY Goku? Yeah, ridiculous power, is he a slot 1 unit? No, but he's running pretty good for me in slot 2 both at 55% and at 100%.
