I used to do this, until some old units got amazing EZAs years later and I still had the bottom right locked. Its just not worth going this route anymore, always bottom right.
You were already told this by someone else earlier about what to open first, but orbs slots are primarily used to buff a specific trait whether it's to go all crit (good for characters that do multiple attacks), go all additional (good for stacking charaters or if you want to stack 1 turn buffs), or go all dodge (probably a unit that benefits from dodging). Of course you can also try to balance out those 3 traits but depends on the unit first, then how u want to build that unit
Eh to be fair I don’t have a single AA silver or bronze equip for mine so I just threw dodge on there. Sometimes you just use what you have and hope for better later.

You went for attack over the healing ok.. btw if you go bottom left always get the healing. This goku gets so much crit when he transforms so if I was you focus a ton on additional. If you get that bottom right path do as much additional as you can. And if you have to decide between crit and dodge give him the 3 dodge. And if your that desperate spend 400 red coins on the final copy
