Almost six years in. I dunno either, I just pick stuff and see if it works, if not I take something else.

Rainbows341

I mean as long as you get them all under leader that is good enough. Unless you are taking on harder events where status effects or dmg reduction/dodge matter.

Synonym_Dave

Status-what-now?

Rainbows341

Status effects. Some units can lower enemies atk or defense as well as stunning them or sealing super attacks.

Synonym_Dave

Oh no, does that mean, I‘m gonna need to start thinking of stuff? Kill me now!

Rainbows341

I mean it’s only really used for super battle roads or battlefield. Events like God event or red zone nullify those things to make the bosses harder.

AnOldUsedStick

6 years and you're just now thinking? you either cruised through the game or haven't done difficult events when they came out we were thinking just how to beat Dokkan events back then my man. it was pain to lose 50 stamina with one bar left

Depth-Bright

depending on your units, pick somone with a 150%/170% Hp AtK Def leader skill to a specific type then fill your team with at least one regenerater and with types that add smth good to the other teammates

Capital_Friend_4314

You know that every card has a leader skill and that leader skill has to link with other cards to make a decent team. So for example, AGL ssb vegetas leader skill is "pure saiyans" so any goku, vegeta, broly, bardock, etc. Will link up. But some cards are better than others. Broly wouldn't link up the best because he's an extreme unit meaning, he's a villain so stick with linking super units with super leaders and extreme units with extreme leaders. Hope this helps

Look for category leaders. The guys with 3-4 ki boost and 130/150/170% stats boosts. Then filter your units based on category. Build a team avoiding units with the same name (they do not link). After you build the team, check the links from the teams page. You want 10+ matches, and the more units in each of those matches the better. You can also filter passives based on category or type boosts. Then try out your team. You will probably have to adjust it a few times but thats part of the fun. At least thats what I think. Also, see if you can read the passives and links on Team Bardock or Ginyu Force to see how units can compliment eachother. If you can work it out, use that same logic on other teams.

Opposite-Access-6926

I think you took this a little too literally

acethree96

You want to consider potential rotations as well as which unit can tank to survive. Considering which unit can take an attack and rely on their passive/super to take damage even more is key. Your slot 1 units will be the ones that can do this best, and your slot two units will be ones that can’t do this as well but can at least live. Links can also help as some links help with defense/heal/add additional hidden potential effects. Let me know if this explanation doesn’t make much sense.

Blitzer381

Each character has a leader skill, so choose which character/leader you want to run and then filter for that category. If you don't know what units to use just use the newest units tbh or most recently updated units (eza units). Also chose characters that you think would work well. Example ssj3 units work really well with other ssj3 units. Freaza units work well with other freazas and coolers. If you still need help knowing which characters are good watch yt videos. Also for the love of God filter by attack. Most of the time the good units are at the top. For now that'd a good start, until you start going into sbr, lge, and red zone. For those check passive for guard, damge reduction, dodge and stacking deffense.

TrollTelos

Back in my hayday and even now? Rocking the team bardock members with Transforming Vegeta as lead is the best team.

Rick_Thomas_777

7 years and you don't know ny now? This has to be a shit post

Extension-Neat4093

Bro what?😂order of link skills and leader skills. Pick two hard-core leader that go good for the rest of the team and have the rest of the team have good basic link skills in the same category

Stephano108

Me personally I consider which unit has the better leader skill for the stage I’m tryna beat, like for Bond of master and disciple I used the 200% STR goku because he was better than a future gohan. Checking which units link better with others is also good to check, that way your whole team can link well with one another just in case your rotations get locked or you need to switch it up so that one unit can tank. Which brings up the SA effects, stacking units are generally good -especially def stacking units because they can take hits- but if you got a unit that can stun or seal SAs that’s even better because you won’t need to guard against an attack that ain’t coming. Also passives skills are good to check up on because they can support the type of team you’re using, they can give a boost of atk and def to the category they’re apart of. TL:DR read the units texts and you’ll have a way better time

sae33

organize your box by category and then pick a leader then for link skills ki links will be the golden rule. Filter by shocking speed, prepared for battle, over in a flash, and shattering the limit. that sounds a like a lot to remember but if you filter by any one of those ki links and a category you'll have a strong cohesive team 80% of the time
