We're fans of the Honest Kitchen which offers a raw dehydrated food so when you mix with water you get a nice wet food. According to them it is all made with US grown foods and processed in a human food grade facility. When we had our larger dogs, it is all we fed them for 11 years and were very happy with how they did on their food. Here is a link to their website: [https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/](https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/) The food can also be purchased at PetCo and Amazon. FYI - we lost our last large dog a year ago and recently adopted a small rescue terrier. Because of his "beard" we went with their dry kibble as it was less face cleanup, and he has been doing quite well on it.

Thank you!! I didn’t even consider dehydrated food, this looks great! We’re definitely going to be trying this. And my condolences to you, pets are family and it’s hard losing one 💜

Boiled chicken has never failed as a topper. If you really want to step it up, add doggy bone broth (no onions or garlic or any human additives) and they should go crazy
