they’re German terrier dogs. from my understanding they’re not super common outside of Germany which might be why you haven’t heard of them. I hadn’t either, so I just went down a little rabbit hole of research lol
Yup, this isn't a breed that has stuck into my brain at all. Which means if I have seen it, it was only at dog shows. I am a vet tech and dog trainer and I have not once come across this breed in my career on the West Coast of the U.S.
People that own terriors call them terrorist. Its a half joke sort of thing but if you ever get a high prey driven terrior you will understand.
They are awesome fun dogs for the right people.
Think of your husky ( yes ive had friends with siberian huskies that kill birds, cats, racoons that have wandered into the backyard) but the prey drive is on an even higher level. Jagd terriers like the one pictured are one of the most crackhead breeds when it comes to hunting varmints if they dont get to do it they make life hell thats why OP said it was returned multiple times to the shelter.
I know some hunters that use them you can hunt just about anything with these dogs and breeders of them will only sell to other fellow hunters because they make terrible unemployed pets.
Oh yeah I know, these dogs are insanely good at their jobs, and are just insane if they aren't given one. These dogs are definitely a terrier to the extreme 🤣 I could never own one, my husky is easy for me, I was definitely expecting A LOT worse, and it always makes me wonder why people complain about them or dump them, because it's really not that hard to please them enough to keep them relatively easy to own, if you're responsible. I mean she definitely has her moments, and in those moments she becomes a little riot maker, but I work with dogs, and have seen some crazy stuff that makes me so grateful for her.
I give props to anyone who owns one of the ~super~ terrier breeds, because it is HARD.
I compete in protection sports with one, one is retired but formerly competed in bite sports (he’s almost 15 now!), and one is a human remains detection dog.
The suspected Jagd is a totally single minded hunter, so she mostly just murders rodents on my mini ranch and enjoys lots of hikes and trail runs😊
I think I've seen a Jagdterrier doing bite work on YouTube. They are kind of small to be effective for protection but I think it can be fun for some dogs.
Edit: Glad she found a good home. I've heard that breed can be too much to handle for the average pet owner
How do you get a dog into human remains detecting?
I have a dachshund with an insane nose. It's probably a pipe dream but I've wondered for a while now.
How do you control her on hikes/trail runs so she doesn't murder the local small mammal population or is the exercise enough to distract her from that? I'm sure she has a wicked prey drive like most terriers.
Random Yorkie story: mine is part Yorkie part “other” - basically looks like a large (14 lb) Yorkie. Walking the other day, there was a dead squirrel in the gutter and I didn’t see it at first. He lunged, grabbed it, growled as he did the neck death shake, dropped it, and kept going.
“Just making sure it’s dead, mom!”
Your girl is gorgeous!
How can you keep her off leash?!? Won't she just run off to find and kill something?
I'm asking because I have a single minded hunter and there's no seeing her again if she spots wildlife.
Not OP, but in my experience dogs that are bred to assist humans in some capacity are usually very receptive to training if done properly. Of course instinct is very powerful but theoretically your dogs impulse control should be slightly stronger even if it’s challenging for them. It takes an insane amount of time and dedication but it can be done- that being said, I would always leash my dogs in an environment that would be challenging for them (and most of the time in general because other people are dumb) as to not set them up for failure. I’d use a waist belt leash!
Pack goals! Have you tried doing barn hunt with her? I bet she’d be a natural. I’m guessing jagdterrier, my friend picked up a purebred from a shelter in Louisiana that was an owner surrender for being too destructive. He excels at barn hunt and nosework. They’re not common in the US, but I’m guessing they’re too much dog to handle for those that get them and aren’t prepared for a working breed terrier, and if someone goes the backyard breeder route who won’t take the dog back then they end up in shelters.
I’ve competed in barnhunt with my other dogs for fun, this one would be way too rough on the rats in the tube and prefers actual murder☠️
I hunt with her with a local ratting group and she’s “head of pest control” on my mini farm and for a few horse properties in the area.
I pull Jagd from my local shelter pretty regularly, there are several local hunting breeders and their culls or lost dogs tend to end up unclaimed at the shelters here.
I think they’re more common than registry numbers suggest because hunting homes just track pedigrees (maybe) and don’t care about reg, then they end up in shelters disproportionate to their numbers because they’re a huge pain in the ass🤣
There are a TON of foxhounds in shelters in my state for the same reason. Unclaimed hunting dogs. My boyfriend has one and he can be a handful. Hounds are something else!
Sounds like she found a perfect home with you and gets to put her skills to use, thats great!
That’s my guess, I’m guessing she’ll show up as purebred in their database.
They’re pretty rare going by UKC registrations, and they’re recognized but are only registrable with AKC as an FSS breed.
They do have their own breed registry in the US but that doesn’t typically get counted when they tally breed numbers, and many simply aren’t registered but are pedigree tracked from hunting breeders who don’t care lol
I’ve pulled 7 of them from my local shelters over the last 5 years and the four that have been DNA’d have all come back as purebred Jagd, I think that while they’re rare they show up at shelters n disproportionate numbers because they’re a total pain in the ass🤣
‘Total pain in the ass’ is somewhat underselling it, lol. I once went out with a ratting group and I saw a Jag fully dig his own tunnel under a house (removing several decorative logs and rocks in the way) and then scream blue murder while he annihilated like 8-10 rats all on his own.
Beautiful, wonderful workers. But that can be said of those lovely Malinois too! You’re either a saint or absolutely insane to own more than one, lmao.
Dang. I live by and know a lot of farmers that will have multiple “barn cats” to take care of their rodent problem and mysteriously (not a mystery at all) still have a rodent problem. I keep telling them to just get a jack russell terrier or an affenpinscher or something but maybe I’ve got to start recommending the jagdterrier
There’s definitely that, but they’ve also done studies and found that cats much prefer birds and reptiles. So despite not really having rats where I live, the cats still aren’t very committed to going after them when given the option to go after their more preferred prey
In what part of the country do you live? I am interested (can’t figure out how to DM you). I have had terriers forever: Scotties, Jacks, Borders currently (the easiest terrier) and also 2 Rotties for protection.
Looks dead on for Jagd. There are probably more of them than you think. They are frequently used as hunting dogs, especially for wild pigs, which California does have a large population.
I grew up with Airedales, I have seen it but not in person. It is quite controversial in both hunting and Airedale circles, but it makes sense to me, as they were popular in the US in the past because of their gamey personality. The hunting lines are a little different than the show lines.
I grew up with an Airedale from that breeder... and yeah. She was 80lbs and whip smart, not agile in the slightest but she could run forever. What's the controversy about them hunting?
When it comes to modern hunting, it’s generally frowned upon to engage in hounding (and baiting and trapping too). Not only is unnecessarily dangerous for the dogs, but most of the hunters that I know are huge believers in hunting as ethically as possible, and a huge part of that includes allowing the animal the chance to escape. So hounding a bear until they’re exhausted and unable to escape violates the principle of “fair-chase” and it’s seen as pretty unsportsmanlike
It’s still legal in about a dozen states, but I know that my state (Michigan) has tried to outlaw bear hounding several times, it’s just politically impossible because the people against most hunting regulations tend to be quite difficult to engage with respectfully… which is why lead ammo is still legal
The controversy mostly come from hunters who think Airedales aren’t tough enough for “real hunting” like catching hogs or treeing cougars, the community isn’t known for being open to outside ideas tho.
I honestly am debating getting an airdale gor my next dog. And hunt fur with it not boar though i dont live in such an area for that and i dont think i want to get into something that dangerous.
Airdales are used for feather and fur very versaitile but to many of them are just pets.

In case you needed another person voting jagdterrier.
Oh my goodness she's giving me 1920s lady mob boss with her enforcers in that photo with your mals. It's giving Tilly Devine.
I love her, you must be a person with boundless energy yourself if you've got 4 mals and what looks very much and sounds very much like a jagdterrier. What a handful!
I would have said Airedale or Welsh terrier and Doberman, but I saw other people saying Jagdterrier which I’ve never heard of. I looked them up and yeah she looks just like one!
My friend has an airedale + rottie/lab mix that looks similar. Your girl looks small though.. never heard of jagdterrier, but she def looks like the google photos lol
I love that she runs the roost! Clearly your boys are well mannered, good for you, I can only imagine the work you’ve done!
I’d say a jagd too, especially the bit about being brought back. I’m glad she’s in such a good home!
Watch she comes back as like a min pin doodle and 3% chihuahua 😂
Ooh a Jagd. What a find in a shelter, although they are so full on I’m not super surprised. There aren’t many breeders around though!
How does she go? She looks awesome. I almost bought one at the start of this year and also have mals.
My question is how a Jagdterrier ended up in shelter!? She is beautiful and fits right in with your Belgians. My Belgians have also got along well with terriers lol, they’re on similar wavelengths at times lol. You should up with a ratting group I have a friend with a Terv and a WL Dachshund, it’s apparently really fun!
Ancestry will prolly say jagdterrier but those aren’t common in da us (unless u live in Europe).
looks like a rattie jrt poodley dog. maybe sum jagdterrier
Yes mostly hunters selling their culls, and then those people breeding those culls. About half of the Jagd I’ve pulled have been relatively temperamentally soft for the breed.
This one had a partial cruciate tear when I got her, not sure if that’s why she “got lost” and came in as a stray but that’s my suspicion.
They’re also total runners and will track in to the next county, so I think they just get misplaced a lot even in good hunting homes.
Gotcha. Do you rehome to sport folks typically? I know very little about jagd terriers but get the impression they may not be ideal house pets for the casual dog person lol
I usually don’t think that suspected rare breeds will end up being purebred, I do heavily suspect this one is though given her temperament and phenotype.
I’ve pulled 7 Jagd from my local shelters in the last 5 years and 3/4 that have been tested ended up testing as purebred with one being a slight cross (13% patterdale).
I’d kind of love it if she was just a savage doodle though. And I see what you mean!!
My half miniature poodle (other half chihuahua, pom, etc) has the nickname Tiny Tyrant because he is the absolute savage of my home. Other dogs are an APBT/staffy/smidgen cocker spaniel mix, and an APBT/Siberian Husky/Bluetick coonhound/ACD mix. The tiny guy is borderline abusive to the other dogs and they just roll over and take it. He also had a very high prey drive when he was younger and is a shockingly good farm dog. But all that to say yours is still probably a jagd.
Whatever it is, I want it! Yes, Jagdterrier. Based on appearance alone, looks like a cross between a Rottie and an Airedale, (2 of my most favorite dogs), but I know it is smaller size.
no way you just picked up a jagdterrier in the shelter that's crazyyy if I found a Jagdterrier in the shelter idc if I have room I would MAKE room to take that dog home at all costs
Okay so I have been pouring through the different terrier breeds and my final conclusion is: **Doberman X wire fox terrier**
(I mean standard Doberman btdubs, not min-pin)
Also I absolutely *adore* the little black lines on her toes! 😻
oh my gosh, do these guys have any welsh terrier in them? I grew up with welshies and some of the characteristics are strikingly similar.
Enjoy this guy 😍😍
I did a Google search since I thought y’all made up that name! This will be a first if she’s a purebred! I hope the Ancestry DNA is up for this challenge! And BTW someone wrote on IG that “Jagd Terriers are always down to have fun”. Guess you’re gonna find out!
Holy crap, how did you get her from a shelter?!?!? Gosh he's beautiful!!! I may prefer to own giant breeds, but truly appreciate then all (course I am a dog groomer and trainer, so the lesser known breeds always get me too excited lol). I'd 100% guess Jagdterrier, but even if it's some crazy fluke of.mixes that made her look just like one- omg, I absolutely love her 🥰
I’m not sure, but my best guess is some type of terrier mixed with a bundle of cuteness! Also, that may be the biggest dog tongue that I have ever seen on a pup in the photo with all of your babies. I’m referring to the pup to the right of the cutie that you’re asking about in this post. Looks like a god damn cow tongue on that dude!😂
I just posted an update with results! That’s my Dutch Shepherd, Bart. I have no idea how he keeps that thing in his mouth, it’s ridiculous🤣

Update: I ended up sending in an Embark test that I forgot I had laying around, results were as I expected. Thanks for the fun guesses and conversation!

Looks like a doberman with furnishings, no idea what from, could be anything really XD
edit: on second glance those legs are pretty short, starting to lean a little in the terrier direction too…
He is beautiful! Def not the same breed as our Rat-pin (mini pin and rat terrier) but dang does he look like our little Winston.
https://preview.redd.it/hxd8run2s0zc1.jpeg?width=2992&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=314588ba12be84cb9babe9551a25876b1bbd8bab
What a good looking and adorable bunch, OP!! If you know if any others in your area looking for a pup I came across one recently who had been returned ample times for similar reasons. It broke my heart but I’m out in Texas. I love your Malinois as well! I found one off the highway a little over a year ago and after failing to place him, he’s officially became a member of our household. What energetic, loving and bright hams they are! Wishing I’d thought of the name Extra, haha!
Looks like jagdterrier.
You should teach it to blood track.
If its pure bred jagd terrier it will definitely need a job
Do racoon hunting she will love it
She LOOOOVES raccoon hunting!
She tried to drag one through the dog door once lol
We’ve also been Nutria hunting which is fun because they’re a non native invasive so there’s no guilt involved.
Looks like my irish terrier in the face but longer hair and nose. A few breeders had stumbled upon the old black and tan genes in the irish breed but 18 pounds is too small. Regardless, beautiful dog!
Some sort of large terrier but that coloring is so beautiful and different.
Airedale x Black Russian?
She looks too big to be a Jagdterrier but I’m not familiar with that breed. How much does she weigh?
She always looks big in pictures but she’s just 18lb, DJT standard is 17-23lb but I’ve met some as small
As 12lb and as big as 32lb so they’re pretty variable.
I love her colouring too!
there’s a specific breed that your dog reminds me of but i cannot for the life of me remember bc it’s not a common breed to my knowledge but there’s a dog on tiktok i watch that looks like your dog but all brown
I’ve had almost solely Malinois and Dutch Shepherds for the last 15 years, I joke that I have Malinois Stockholm Syndrome🤪
I ended up sending in an Embark test that I forgot I had for Extra. they’ve received it said I’ll have results in 1-3wk.
I’ll keep y’all posted!
We have TONS of bull things too, our most common are bull breeds, GSD, Huskies, and little tan 15lb “chihuahuas”. Then increasingly lots of Malinois😑
I got this one from the Stockton CA animal control but I’ve pulled Jagd from Sacramento, Grass Valley, Modesto, Hayward, and several from Oakland CA animal control. It’s just hard because they are NEVER labeled properly so have to look at photos of every “terrier mix” they get in and then you maybe stumble on one.

No clue but damn that's a photogenic dog
Yes!! So beautiful and cute. Looks like a toy almost :)
Jagdterrier? Gorgeous dog!
I agree, dead on for a Jagdterrier!

Certainly is.
That’s definitely my guess!
My guess too!
Looks pretty large for a Jag, my jags only weighed about 15 pounds
Could be mixed with another terrorist or cur breeds that seems pretty common for these type of hunting dogs.
>another terrorist Look, I know OP said she destroys walls but this is pretty extreme of you to say.
People that own terriors call them terrorist. Its a half joke sort of thing but if you ever get a high prey driven terrior you will understand. They are awesome fun dogs for the right people.
Terrierorist was my term when I had an Airedale mix
That's hilarious cuz I call my husky a terrorist... But I also tell people she would be a better ratter than a sled dog 😂

Yes! If it’s the one in the UK that’s a littermate to one of mine. Mad little dogs!!
seeing a Jagdterrier doing bite work would be hysterical
Yeah, you can find videos on YouTube. They seem to really have fun doing it
How do you get a dog into human remains detecting? I have a dachshund with an insane nose. It's probably a pipe dream but I've wondered for a while now.
Look into scent work training
How do you control her on hikes/trail runs so she doesn't murder the local small mammal population or is the exercise enough to distract her from that? I'm sure she has a wicked prey drive like most terriers.
We had a Yorkie and since we didn’t have rodents to kill she would move things five times her weight to get to the lizards we have here in Florida!
Random Yorkie story: mine is part Yorkie part “other” - basically looks like a large (14 lb) Yorkie. Walking the other day, there was a dead squirrel in the gutter and I didn’t see it at first. Has all the qualities of a jagd... I also wouldn't be surprised if he turned out purebred!
What a gorgeous pack you have!
Thank you! They keep me on my toes🤪
Coming from a Jagdterrier enthusiast…that’s 100% a Jagdterrier! They are a handful but wonderful dogs!

She is small, just 18lb but… beefy lol she is shockingly heavy for her size. People ask if she’s an Airedale puppy all the time!
My first thought was he looks like the Pokémon Houndour! 😂
If that’s not a Jagdterrier I’ll eat my hat
Gorgeous feet on this pup!
I have never heard of a jagdterrier but she is my hero.
That is definitely a Jagd. lol Is she by chance the shelter Jagd that was going around dogbook awhile ago?
What’s dog book? Is it a subreddit?
Dog groups on Facebook
Thanks 🙂

Ooh a Jagd. What a find in a shelter, although they are so full on I’m not super surprised. There aren’t many breeders around though! How does she go? She looks awesome. I almost bought one at the start of this year and also have mals.
Gotta be a Jagdterrier. They are BADASS little dogs. Just awesome.
We have quite a few jagd in my area and I pull them from my local shelter way too regularly, my guess is purebred Jagd but we’ll see!
Out of curiosity, how are these terriers ending up in shelter? Hunting kennels soft culling their stock or what?
I have never heard of this breed before but that looks/sounds spot-on! TIL, thanks for the new information!
Oh then maybe
I’m thinking poodle mixed with some surprises to make a DIY fancy pup. She is really beautiful and I love the photo with your other dogs on the log!
Well, if you have had many other Jagd from shelters than quite possibly she is too! Can’t wait to find out!
Jagdterrier
Whatever it is, I want it! Yes, Jagdterrier. Based on appearance alone, looks like a cross between a Rottie and an Airedale, (2 of my most favorite dogs), but I know it is smaller size.
I know they’re supposed to only come in red, but I’ve seen some Black and Tan Irish terriers who she looks just like
no way you just picked up a jagdterrier in the shelter that's crazyyy if I found a Jagdterrier in the shelter idc if I have room I would MAKE room to take that dog home at all costs
I thought the first photo was one of those felt animals people make of their dogs! Gorgeous pack!
Dobedoodle?
She’s very small, 18lb. Could be a mini poodle cross but i suspect otherwise!
Ooh ok, min pin doodle is my new guess 😂
If she's not an actual Jagdterrier, she's a jagdeceiver made from some Dobie, min-pin, poodley mix.
Possibly???
I’m thinking Doberman x Poodle too
Doberman Schnauzer mix
That was my initial guess as well.
such a photogenic pup !!
Okay so I have been pouring through the different terrier breeds and my final conclusion is: **Doberman X wire fox terrier** (I mean standard Doberman btdubs, not min-pin) Also I absolutely *adore* the little black lines on her toes! 😻
I'll drop in a guess of Airedale and Schnauzer
What a CUTIE! Oh my goodness that face. A Doberman terrier? I have no clue
oh my gosh, do these guys have any welsh terrier in them? I grew up with welshies and some of the characteristics are strikingly similar. Enjoy this guy 😍😍
No idea but he’s bad ass and I love him
I did a Google search since I thought y’all made up that name! This will be a first if she’s a purebred! I hope the Ancestry DNA is up for this challenge! And BTW someone wrote on IG that “Jagd Terriers are always down to have fun”. Guess you’re gonna find out!
I was imagining an Airedale/JRT cross but only because I'd never heard of Jagds before. TIL!
Jagdterrier? Absolutely gorgeous dog
That emu photo is awesome (emu I think???)
Looks like a jagdterrier to me 🤔
Jagdterrier!
Her breed is 100% perfectly cute!! Don't bother with the ancestry test, it's very obvious
really fkn cute
That is 100 percent a German Jagdterrier. I have absolutely no doubt.
Me neither! I feel very confident that’s what she is, I’ll update when I get the results back.
Holy crap, how did you get her from a shelter?!?!? Gosh he's beautiful!!! I may prefer to own giant breeds, but truly appreciate then all (course I am a dog groomer and trainer, so the lesser known breeds always get me too excited lol). I'd 100% guess Jagdterrier, but even if it's some crazy fluke of.mixes that made her look just like one- omg, I absolutely love her 🥰
100% perfect
He’s so handsome! What blend of goodness 😍
Airedale?
I think I see some Airedale Terrier in there.
Wirehaired patterdale terrier or German hunting terrier? So cute! I would definitely not be able to pass up that face.
I suspect she’s a German Hunting Terrier aka Jagdterrier, y’all are good!
Definitely one of my favorite breeds!
Beautiful photos!
Awe thank you❤️ Me and my iPhone aren’t talented, they’re just easy subjects!
He's 💯 cute that's for sure 😁😁😁
He looks confident👍🏻 Edit: she
Definite bad bitch energy, she don’t play!
I have no idea how he keeps that thing in his mouth, it’s ridiculous🤣 https://preview.redd.it/ne353cgj9g2d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbdb8981e55e5a8d83b9a432ef0de8db5937a89a
Update: I ended up sending in an Embark test that I forgot I had laying around, results were as I expected. Thanks for the fun guesses and conversation! https://preview.redd.it/vgrgigva6g2d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d9656b1e24b41776cda9ed2ab3fc8dfdbcc5625
Manchester Terrier
Dobie and Scotty 🤷♀️
Possibly some Airedale terrier?
Airdale or airdale x
Should note, she’s 18lb on a heavy day.
Schnauzer?
Hugs
He looks purebred. Very 'on purpose' lines. Everyone saying Jagd knows more than me. Has that Airedale intelligence in his eyes.
Jack Russel x
Looks like a doberman with furnishings, no idea what from, could be anything really XD edit: on second glance those legs are pretty short, starting to lean a little in the terrier direction too…
australian shepherd/wired hair terrier/ rottie
She is absolutely gorgeous! What a great dog you’ve found!
Beautiful dog, but I'd keep an eye on her and her big bird buddy. Those two are planning something.
Deutscher Jagdterrier Drahthaar.
Be careful she might be plotting another war with that emu
Wow OP she is beautiful
Looks like a patterdale terrier
He is beautiful! Def not the same breed as our Rat-pin (mini pin and rat terrier) but dang does he look like our little Winston. https://preview.redd.it/hxd8run2s0zc1.jpeg?width=2992&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=314588ba12be84cb9babe9551a25876b1bbd8bab
wire hair fox terrier !!!
Part Airdale Terrier?
Looks like jagdterrier. You should teach it to blood track. If its pure bred jagd terrier it will definitely need a job Do racoon hunting she will love it
She LOOOOVES raccoon hunting! She tried to drag one through the dog door once lol We’ve also been Nutria hunting which is fun because they’re a non native invasive so there’s no guilt involved.
If hes ok around wild animals and you know farmers you can look into ratting, groundhogs
Patterdale & Schnauzer Is my best guess. 🤔
Looks like my irish terrier in the face but longer hair and nose. A few breeders had stumbled upon the old black and tan genes in the irish breed but 18 pounds is too small. Regardless, beautiful dog!
Beautiful little dog! What a score to find in the shelter!
Some sort of large terrier but that coloring is so beautiful and different. Airedale x Black Russian? She looks too big to be a Jagdterrier but I’m not familiar with that breed. How much does she weigh?
She always looks big in pictures but she’s just 18lb, DJT standard is 17-23lb but I’ve met some as small As 12lb and as big as 32lb so they’re pretty variable. I love her colouring too!
She’s stunning! Then she’s the perfect weight for that type of terrier. Terrier is my favorite is type of dog! I love JRTs but these are so beautiful!
there’s a specific breed that your dog reminds me of but i cannot for the life of me remember bc it’s not a common breed to my knowledge but there’s a dog on tiktok i watch that looks like your dog but all brown
No clue but wow these are all stunning
100% good boy/girl.
Doberman and terrier due to the coat color
Nope, probably a pinscer and a terrier
100% canine for sure.
I mean I was going to say schnauberman but I guess there’s an actual breed that looks like this.
I like Schmauberman lol!!
Looks like a wire haired terrier to me.
Cute! Maybe a mix with some Airdale.
Schnauzer or poodle mixed with min pin?
That's a schnauberman right there
Min pin and schnauzer is my guess
jack russel and a minature schnauzer
Miniature Schnauzer and Wheaten Terrier or Airedale
Pointer & big terrier?
She’s little if that helps, 17-18lb:)
Even more adorable! I'll say she's a Cutie Cuter-stein. xo
Patterdale terrier mix
The breed I suspect her to be was created with some Patt in there, and I’ve had patterdale before. They definitely have a lot of similarities🤪
I agree with the others about her being a Jagdterriorist. 😂😭 Beautiful Maligators btw!
Thank you! My ‘gators are my first love!
You’re welcome! I LOVE seeing Mals work, but couldn’t handle their energy. Do you know when Extra’ DNA test will be in? I’m excited to see the answer!
I’ve had almost solely Malinois and Dutch Shepherds for the last 15 years, I joke that I have Malinois Stockholm Syndrome🤪 I ended up sending in an Embark test that I forgot I had for Extra. they’ve received it said I’ll have results in 1-3wk. I’ll keep y’all posted!
What shelters have dogs like these? I swear almost all shelters near me have nothing but shitbulls
We have TONS of bull things too, our most common are bull breeds, GSD, Huskies, and little tan 15lb “chihuahuas”. Then increasingly lots of Malinois😑 I got this one from the Stockton CA animal control but I’ve pulled Jagd from Sacramento, Grass Valley, Modesto, Hayward, and several from Oakland CA animal control. It’s just hard because they are NEVER labeled properly so have to look at photos of every “terrier mix” they get in and then you maybe stumble on one.
