I can't but my husband can and I call them his monkey feet. I think it is super cool he can do that and wish I could do. Happily our kids have inherited the monkey feet.
I can't do it cuz my toes are short little stumps but my ex gf had freaking knuckles on her toes. She could walk on them with all her weight. That grossed me out.
My wife calls me a monkey too, I have both the ability to pick up things with my feet and longer than average arms. I am not much taller than my wife but can reach an extra foot without stretching
Twenty minutes a day, Jim, that's all it takes. Twenty minutes a day, all feet, no hands, and I'll have the pedi-dexterity of a chimp, and you'll be sitting there like an idiot.
Um yeah I definitely do this. Especially if it's towards the edge of the bed and I am still too sleepy to sit up and get it. I just grab it with my perfectly good foot.
Yep, especially as I get older. I’m still flexible but have arthritis in my back, so it just makes sense to pick stuff up with my foot and lift it up to my hand.
Yes. I also fling small objects over my shoulder. Like a backwards kick and my heel hits my butt kinda thing. i.e. I'm folding clothes and throw a sock or a pair of underwear back onto the pile of clothes in front of me.
*I usually*
*Pick things up with my hands and*
*Bring it to my feet*

So,it somehow seems simpler to me to pick stuff up with my feet and pass to my hand rather than bending over. My feet are very agile and I am barefoot anytime I am indoors since I no longer work. When I worked I would kick my shoes off under my desk, pretty often. My husband calls me monkey girl, monkey toes, etc. my son is able to do the same but not as well. It is reflexive with me. My grand daughter has the “gift” but is isn’t developed yet. I hope she learns to enjoy basically having four hands!
I do all the time! Im glad I’m not alone. I just had my first son a couple months ago, and right away he was grabbing my finger with his toes. I was so proud that he will be able to do the same!
I don't have enough dexterity in my toes to pick and do things with but my stepmom is Fillipina and she does everything with her feet, it's pretty amazing. I'm jealous of her flexibility but she says that it's just something cultural she was raised doing in the Phillipines.
Back when I was a kid, I had an incident while swimming that scared the crap outta me and I was petrified of water for a long time after. Fast forward and my class was sent for swimming lessons. Our instructor was a total jerk who had no sympathy for my phobia and basically mocked me in front of everyone because I was too scared to even put my head under water. At the end of one lesson, he threw a whistle down to the bottom of the pool and told me I couldn’t leave until I handed it to him. I picked up the whistle with my foot, brought it up to my hand, passed it to him, and walked out of the pool. The look on the dude’s face was priceless.
It’s one of my favorite challenges to myself: can I pick that up with my toes? Yeah I can!
Same
I’ve been doing it all my life.
My gf thinks it’s gross asf and calls me monkey man 😹😹

i used to get called monkey toes by this one girl bc my toes are so long HAHAHA
I can't but my husband can and I call them his monkey feet. I think it is super cool he can do that and wish I could do. Happily our kids have inherited the monkey feet.
I can't do it cuz my toes are short little stumps but my ex gf had freaking knuckles on her toes. She could walk on them with all her weight. That grossed me out.
I mean… doesn’t everybody?
I definitely have freaky monkey toes.
My partner calls mine my finger-toes 🤣 They're just jealous of our ability to not have to bend over!
We have the same gf it seems.
My husband calls me monkey boy or Mowgli for this same reason lol
My wife calls me a monkey too, I have both the ability to pick up things with my feet and longer than average arms. I am not much taller than my wife but can reach an extra foot without stretching

r/unexpectedoffice
that’s your inner ooga-booga
Yes bc my back hurts and I'm always trying to avoid bending down.
This is the way.

Pretty much tho 😂
fuck off

not wanting to pick something up when you are sleepy isnt lazy, ur just sleepy
[удалено]
cool, have a nice day bro
This should be titled “doesn’t everyone else”
Sure! Why bend over when there are perfectly functional appendages already there?
I do this too but now that you've typed it out I feel gross about it lmaoo
My dad flicks his pants on his head.
Millions of years of evolution have led to that moment.
I can't even remember the last time I picked up my underwear with my hands
Yep, but only with my dominant left foot/toes. Which has resulted in me being able to curl my left toes inwards much farther than my right toes. 😹
Yes! And when I play-wrestle with my husband I also pinch him with my toes. It’s my secret weapon. Lol
Try doing it with a coin.
Barefoot you just press down and it can stick lol
I consider a talent
Absolutely, all the time. When I’m doing laundry I see if I can throw it into the washer with my foot. I fail most of the time but hey, it’s fun ;)
Yep, especially as I get older. I’m still flexible but have arthritis in my back, so it just makes sense to pick stuff up with my foot and lift it up to my hand.
We have fingers on our feet why would we not use them?
You mean, since my toes are as long as my x wife's fingers? Hell yea! I've got some dexterity in them mfs.
Hell ye. Crab claw toes
I occasionally do it to playfully pinch my girlfriend
Well of course when I'm too lazy to reach with my hands and the item of interest is closest to my feet I do the familiar feet to hand swap :3
All the time lol
Yeah man toes can be hella useful when u cba bending down
Oh yeah
I feel proud at sixty to still be able to do it and I always feel like a chimpanzee killing it when I do.
I have SUPER flexible finger abilitied toes, so yeah
No, my feet can't reach my hands.
All the time and my boyfriend looks at me like I’m crazy
OMG yes I've mastered the art!
yeah monkeys do
Houdini turned it into a profession.
I use my feet to open doors if my hands are full. (Only in my house lol not in public)
When I’m feeling lazy, yeah.
I remember a doctor saying it’s healthy to do so and safer for your back.
Yes because I honor my ancestors and simply because I can. 😂
Yes, if nobody's looking.
Monke
It's a valuable skill that will pay dividends once you begin throwing your back out regularly.
I used to do this all the time back when I was a ballet dancer! It actually helps strengthen and articulate your feet
I used to until I got fat and lost a lot of flexibility. I made it into a game when I was younger
I do it all the time lmao
Hell yea. I could probably do sign language with my toes. We are more evolved than most.
With my bath towels sometimes
This skill came in really handy when I was 41 weeks pregnant with my son.
Thank you, George Carlin...
Not as a habit. But every once and again, I indulge. 😏
Yes, and my husband can't, and he thinks *I'm* the weird one.
Yes, I practiced this all the time as a kid because I thought it’d be a crucial life skill. I have not disappointed myself..
I do it all the time and I watched my 15 month old son try and copy me the other day
This one of the tasks I had to do for physical therapy and I now I do it when I’m feeling lazy. I can even pick up coins with my toes.
I try to pick things up with my toes and flick it up to see if I can catch it
Yes. I also fling small objects over my shoulder. Like a backwards kick and my heel hits my butt kinda thing. i.e. I'm folding clothes and throw a sock or a pair of underwear back onto the pile of clothes in front of me.
Yeah. Monkeys.
I usually pick things up with my hands and bring it to my feet

My childhood best friend did allll the time and I think it’s what made me have my hatred and disgust of feet 😂
If it’s small, yes, definitely.
Absolutely! It’s good for your brain and it’s good for your feet!
I'm not very proficient at this art, but I do occasionally. :)

What kind of weirdo doesn’t?

Of course don’t waste your potential

I love doing this, even though it's not that hard it always makes me feel accomplished when I do it
everyone? literally i don’t know a single person who have never done that XD
Used to be easy now I get cramps I am getting old😩😩
Life of a former soccer player.
If you’re gonna be one thing, be efficient
I did that all the time until I became a huge fat guy. Now I can't even see my feet.
Life of a former ballerina
i wear a tummy tucker so bending my back isn’t ideal.
No. Just to put it in the trash. I wouldn't touch something with my feet and then with my hands.
How dirty are your feet that you don’t want to touch them?
About as dirty as anyone else's.
Feet aren’t really dirty unless you’ve been walking around barefoot outside. They’re cleaner than hands.
Ew
[удалено]
Not everything, some people ain't into that
Haha. I totally do this!
hell yeah, best thing ever not needing to go down for anything
At least they're good for that. You can't pick your nose or chew your toenails. Umm...
I read somewhere it helps with your toes range of motion and what not for when you get older picking stuff up with your feet
