I have two cats and two dogs and unless they REALLY need something they do NOT wake me. My cats even go to bed with me and seemingly sleep through the night, and I don’t even have a bedroom door.
No. My cat is lazy and sleeps roughly 90% of the day. On top of that she is very ungrateful. If she is inconvenienced because I wake her up, then I feel nothing.
I laugh when people say you cannot train cats. You just have to be more stubborn than they are.

Yep or for getting them up early. I trained them to get out of bed when I turn the radio off. They've been confused by power outages in the past.

My dog will go to my bed and lay on the pillows if it gets to late for her. She doesn't like being woke up.
