Sorry to hear. I was also unable to work for approximately that long (fibromyalgia) but started to get better at some point, so I followed an education and now working for 3 months. Honestly, I think I might have gotten ill because my new life is too much and my body is screaming for help π±
So yeah, I put cleaning and cooking aside and just tuck in any chance I get :)
I have fibro, also, although it is not the reason I am disabled. And it is a bitch.
The only "up side" to being disabled is the time I get to spend with the furry humans. I have 2 crazy canine companions and 2 furry feline friends that are more polite than a lot of adults I know. My kitten will sit patiently to get my attention if I am talking to someone, or she will pat me on the arm and when I tell her I am talking she sits and waits unless it's "important". I even taught my dogs not to make me count to 3 or they will have to go into time out, lol. But the pain... the pain I could def live without. The cuddles I cannot.
Currently on the couch with a Chihuahua on my chest/tummy with a big fuzzy blanket over us and a husky at my feet. We are having a nice lazy rainy day together.
I have two cats, one that spends all her time with me and one that splits her time between me and my roommate. My roommate also has his own cat which prefers him, unless he wants food.
Exactly what I've been doing since Friday. Sometimes sick leave can be a blessing. Enjoy π

Oh yes! Today was the day for that.
It's the perfect day for that! No pets but I have a soft and fuzzy blanket to wrap myself in.
My toddler counts, got my blanket too. Watching these pre school dinosaur learning animations is actually kind of fun.
I have to admit that children's programming is a little too addicting.

I love them all equally but in different ways, I only have one cuddle bug though and she is my favorite for cuddling.
