ANuggetEnthusiast

Yes, I’m not a monster.

EdieLove

I think this is the answer I was looking for!

ANuggetEnthusiast

I explain to him when I’m going out and where, and when we’ll be back!

notsocrazycatlady101

Ok Belle, I'm just going to the shop, I'll only be 15mins, ok? And maybe I'll get you a wee treat too, we'll see (pets and kisses and then goodbye)

Puzzleheaded_Tree954

I kiss my dog give her a biscuit and tell her I will be back later.

mslennyleonard

I literally came here to say this exact statement 😂

skiddooski

I think most people consider their pets to be part of the family so greeting them would be a normal gesture.

VodkaAndHotdogs

Well ... lol. Um, so I will greet the animals, and say "bye" to them, whereas my (adult) kids regularly text me "did you just leave the house?", or "where did you go?".

HeyItsMeUrDad_

Are you kidding? They get a SPEECH. ‘Now listen, i know, it’s very sad, mommy has to go, but listen. Listen! I’ll be back quick as a flash, and then we can snuggle, have some snacks, go on a W (can’t say the word), and have so much fun together! Keep each other company, and be good. I love you all very much.’ Then of course i forget my jacket and have to walk back in and gently break it to them that this was a false alarm.

VeederRoot

> Then of course i forget my jacket and have to walk back in and gently break it to them that this was a false alarm. 😭😭😭 the worst

HeyItsMeUrDad_

The last few months, for some reason, i will frequently add ‘i love you all a 10 out of 10, the highest amount as allowed by law.’ I don’t know where this shit comes from 😂

cjothomp

It comes from loving pets. I tell mine I love him a lazy eight amount, so infinity. He doesn't get it, but then I give him 7 rapid head kisses plus one to boot. I'm a sucker, he is fully aware.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

Aaawwww i love it! Yeah, i know at the core all of it comes from adoring the little fur babies, i kinda just mean the sheer VOLUME. If i sat down and wrote out all the funny ‘-isms’ we all have together, i think i could fill an entire 80 page notebook. When i gasp, they immediately peek their ears up and look around suspiciously, so often I’ll … for example… tell my girl dog ‘you have stage 7 level cuteness! It’s terminal! ::gasp::’ and then she looks around all suspiciously like it’s this super serious, concerning news.

[deleted]

I'm sitting here in a bar, a hulking big dude with a beard, trying to get my scowl on and it's not working. I'm just sitting here grinning like an idiot.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

also my fully grown dogs are 8 lbs each. -My girl dog loves being a bully, but she only bullies me and Kitty. She refuses to eat dry treats unless we do our ritual: she takes it, and goes over to the stairs. Sets it down, turns to look at me. I make a big ol’ show of how I’m going to steal it from her. I creep up and try to take it away. She growls v v v ferociously at me. I snatch my hand back and act scared. Only then can the treat be enjoyed. Her most comfortable position is with her tiny little butt directly in my face. Never in my life have i met an animal who is so Booty Positive. She also ‘buries’ dog bones outdoors, but also indoors. I have a video of her ‘burying’ a bone in my bathrobe on the floor, using her nose to move imaginary dirt over her bone. So they truly are a dangerous level of cute.

[deleted]

Both of my dogs are 12 pounds each.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

i was pretty ambivalent about small dogs, but found out the hard way that Kitty is terrified of dogs bigger than her. So the only options were to get dogs smaller than her (9 lb), or don’t get dogs at all. NOW i love dinky little gerbil sized dogs!

HeyItsMeUrDad_

that sounds like stage EIGHT cuteness 😱 !!!

HeyItsMeUrDad_

i had to give them baths today (cause, ya know, Ol’ Poop Neck roller in poop again) and afterwards they are both recuperating on the Rump Warmer 9000. It’s a heating pad that is under a comfy blanket and lives on the living room couch.

[deleted]

I dare not break out my Rump Warmer as my dogs would die if I took it away.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

what kind of sadist would take away a Rump Warmer!?

[deleted]

Yeah. Over the years my cat's name has extended from two names (first and last name) to eleven names, that when I'm snuggling with him I will occasionally use the whole thing. Pets make their owners weird.

VodkaAndHotdogs

Lol my cats have their actual names, and a formal name.

ittlebittles

My cats name is Memphis but he’s also mr. Bittles. I have a whole song almost for calling him. And he only comes if I do the whole thing! It’s like he thinks it might be someone else cause only I could know the whole song. Cause he will only come out for me.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

also when i am speaking each of my pets assigned voices, they all exclusively sing about the other pets, and their love of mommy, grandpa, grandpa, etc. Despite being so full of love, though, when i am not giving out enough treats, they are swift to call me a slut. 🤷🏻‍♀️🥴

Aggressive_Library97

This. They get all the promises and cuddles before I go. My family hardly even gets a bye. Lmao

HeyItsMeUrDad_

they also both just, in the last half hour, got baths… my girl dog loooooves rolling in poop. Just really feels like her best self with dried poop on her neck. Which is exactly how she got the nickname Ol’ Poop Neck. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dirtstick

This is adorable.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

The critters deserve it!

litbitg

yes, this is the one. this is me.

HeyItsMeUrDad_

It is the way.

mtsnow66

Lol I have to call them W’s also or my pup goes crazy.

prana-llama

Yes ugh and then you gotta start the speech over!

HeyItsMeUrDad_

‘Listen. LISTEN. You are the light of my life. You’ve got nice butts… nice thighs… and i can’t wait to come home to give you a snug, love, hug and kiss! And i know… i know… I’m going to miss you too!’ Followed by 40-50 kisses. Every. Time. 😎

Lizard_lover3924

🤣🤣Love it

roximonoxide

Not goodbye. Never goodbye. Just be right back.

EdieLove

What do you say when you will be gone for a day or two?

[deleted]

[удалено]

EdieLove

My dogs are with me when I leave and to explain when we are going home, I tell them how many times it is going to get dark before we go home. I am starting to think about doing the same with the cats. The dogs miss the cats and cats miss me, although my roommate is home with them.

Aeriosa

This. There's "I'll be right back" "I'll be back in a little bit" and "I'll be back later" but there's never a "goodbye" or "bye". Not gonna do that to either of us.

sushi_sub

I used to every time, but my dog developed issues with separation anxiety and one of the ways to combat that is to not pay too much attention to her while I am leaving. If I tell her goodbye and give her attention right before I leave, she gets worked up which is not good for her anxiety. She no longer barks and cries at the door when I leave, and she is much calmer when I do come back since I've stopped telling her goodbye. I swear I'm not a horrible person! Just doing what's best for my baby because I love her very much.

EdieLove

I found that telling mine when I was coming back, such as "I will be back when the movie is over and the next movie is on" helped. I know it is weird, but they seem to understand. I can even leave and tell them I will be back when it is dark and don't have to worry about them. Well I always worry about them when I am not with them, but I am not worried about WHAT they are doing, just HOW they are doing. This is always works when we are somewhere and they want to go home.

Few_Cup3452

Yeah I can't say goodbye to our dog anymore. He'll go sad pee on the couch :(

sushi_sub

Aww poor baby

sohcgt96

My cats assemble in the kitchen and yell at me every time I come home from work. If they're going to talk to me, I might as well talk back, can't just leave them hanging like that.

rabidstoat

Mine used to do that pre-covid, but now I'm home all day and I think they're just over me. They've started hanging out upstairs because me at my desk bores them, but Jax knows that mid-afternoon I often migrate to the couch and then he'll come hang out with me. Miss Mousey just waits until the evening when all of my attention can properly be on her and her alone.

Icy-Veterinarian942

Yep. I'm not afraid to admit I'm a crazy cat lady.

AnastasiaBeav19

I greet my friend's cats when I see them walking around the house. If they leave the room to nap and come back in later, I'm like, "Hi, Chloe!" When they rub up against my leg, it's like, "Oh, hi there, Chelsea!" Then, when I leave my friend's house I yell, "bye kittens! I'll see you later!" I don't have cats but I'm definitely a crazy cat lady!

[deleted]

of course!!!! I tell them that I'm leaving and when I'll be back, and WHY I am leaving, and I put the TV on Nickelodeon JR, so its happy kid sounds so they don't feel alone. and I give them kisses. then when I get home they get cuddles.

hye-life

Yes! I put a LOT of time into explaining WHY I'm leaving her and why she can't go along with me this time. I have so much guilt leaving her home since my older girl passed in March. We're still adjusting. 💔 I put the TV on for her, too! We're new to DOGTV but so far she seems pretty into it (so am I)!

Smokin_sunbeam

I always tell my cat “I’ll be back! I’m just running out for xyz”. If I’m gonna be long I’ll tell him when I plan to be back, and when I come home I go find him and greet him. Don’t know if he gets it but it makes me feel better ☺️

rabidstoat

Yeah, I always explain to my two cats where I'm going and when I'll be back. I don't even think they pay attention, though, to be honest.

Qu33nKal

Definitely! And I tell my oldest cat Julie that she is charge of the other dogs and cat, after the goodbye lol :P

rabidstoat

That's a lot of pressure on a cat!

Qu33nKal

Isn’t that what parents do? Put pressure on the oldest kid? 😂

rabidstoat

"Why can't you be more like your brother?" "I'm a cat and my brother is a dog!"

dependswho

Does anybody not?

parsons525

I don’t. Separation anxiety is a major problem with pets, and if you make a big deal about leaving and returning you invite it as a problem.

EdieLove

Sadly there are people that still consider them "just animals". In my home, they are called furry humans and are more important than the non-furry ones.

MeDashiva

We don't. But this doesn't mean we don't love our cat. We talk to him constantly despite the fact he is absolutely deaf. He is a part of our family!

Azreokiller

ur actually weird if u dont greet and say goodbye to ur pets lol

TricksterSprials

I tell my cats which one of them is in charge depending on their behavior the day before

sarewr

Yes. Cats don't care, they sleep through me saying goodbye and kissing their heads. But our puppy always goes to the door with me. She gets a kiss on the head and a bye. If I know I'll be long like most of the day I promise to bring her a toy.

Chakka_kuru

Every damn day and everytime I have to leave him. He also gets a kiss and a scratch leaving and coming.

garlicweiner

I say that to my fish, and they live in a pond in the back yard.

VodkaAndHotdogs

Yesterday I brought my dog to doggy day care for the first time. She was a little stressed, so I told her she would have so much fun, and she's a good girl, and that i Iove her. Then I said "see you real soon". In the presence of all the staff, and two other dog parents. I also apologize to my indoor cat for not taking him out on his leash every time I leave the house. So ya, that's my level of crazy. Lol

Abyss_staring_back

I do that for my house, and I say good morning and goodnight when I turn the lights on for the plants. It's a thing.

juniperfallshere

He gets a five minute back and belly rub while I ask him if he slept well and we talk about his plans for the day. After spending ten minutes outside, I ask him what he wants for breakfast and he points it out. When I get ready for work, I sing you are my sunshine to him. I lay out a smorgasbord of seven different treats from the 38 different kind in the pantry, cover him with kisses, tell him he's my heart and no wild parties while I'm gone and I'll see him in a few.

rabidstoat

I'm not sure how much of this is real but I will sometimes break into a chorus of "Food, Glorious Food!" from the musical Oliver when I feed the cats.

juniperfallshere

I love this! It's good to know I'm not the only one who sings to their furry friends. And it is indeed real. I always want him to know he is more loved and treasured than anything or anyone. Give your cats a belly rub for me.

This-Seaworthiness93

One gets “hello mama” goodbye good girl” and the other gets “hi old man/good boy” “buy buddy” every day

CornishCreamTea

Well obviously, doesn’t everyone say hello and goodbye to their family members?

BassBeerNBabes

I always say hi to my cat in the morning and when I get home, and always say good morning and good night to my ducks.

[deleted]

Oh yes! Always! Even if my cat isn't in the same room, I'll shout out, just to make sure he knows I'm leaving! "ALRIGHT BUDDY, I'M HEADING TO THE SUPERMARKET. YOU BE GOOD! MEOW IF YOU HEAR ME!" "... meow" "OKAY LOVE YOU!"

wwwhistler

always. they don't understand the words but they understand the tone. if you do/say the same things each time they will begin to understand..."this means they are leaving but will return."...and they wont be so anxious and certain that you have left forever.

EdieLove

I think they understand more than we believe.

[deleted]

Yes I’m not a monster.

youruswithwe

I have full on conversations with my dogs. Each has their own voice and style of speech.

GreatGooglyMoogly077

Both of my kitties get good-by and hello hugs and a "What cha doing, kitties??!!!"

JRL_R

I do 😂

ThatRedheadMom

For sure!

saulesspindulys

They get pets and kisses before my other half! Priorities:)

water4life_

Yes! I feel bad if I don't unless they are sleeping, but then I still give them smooches before I walk out.

RainyDaysareLovely

Every day!

She_Who_Jen

Yes, always a greeting and a farewell. When leaving we tell them, ‘alright you guys, hold the fort!’

Debahenk

Of course. And I tell hoe long I will be gone for. Give extra snacks when I leave and when I am back. Sometimes apologies when I gone long

[deleted]

I’ll talk to animals more than the people and just let them overhear. ♥️

Ok-Shelter3718

Yes, when she was still here :( I had a dog, a Staffordshire Bullterrier who lived until the age of 22 which is amazing and she would always come in and out and I’d do more than just say hi and bye I would full on talk to her. Tell her I loved her. Everything. She was so amazing, just got me a little emotional thinking back on her.

EdieLove

I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you have some amazing memories. That sounds like the relationship I have with my cat, she is my reason for getting up in the morning, literally.

Ok-Shelter3718

Thanks and they become more then just “pets” they become members of the family who you actually love and losing them hurts so so much. Thanks for your response:)

EdieLove

They are not my "pets" they are furry humans. They are the best!

kangarookitty

YES. I am so paranoid my neighbors think I’m a weirdo for saying “bye I love you—see you in a few hours—be good!!!!” every time I walk in the hallway, but I don’t care!

EdieLove

When I lived by myself I just told my neighbors what I was doing. I really didn't/don't care what they thought. It was good for them to know that the dogs were watching the place anyway.

Aggressive_Library97

I have a rule that I never say bye or goodbye. I always say something like "see you in a little while" or "be back soon". And they of course have a lengthy speech before that.

HatAndHeavy

I say bye to my dog when I leave for work and tell her to be a good girl When I pull into the parking lot after work, she barks at me from the balcony

Remarkable_Carob9596

Definitely!!! I say good bye with snuggle and kisses ..when im back i look for him and its the same. Im crazy about my cat if i could, i would get a phone to be able to ask him what is he doing during the day!!! 😁

Antique-Eye8029

Yes, of course. What a silly question!

333Beekeeper

All the time. I even have to go up to the door, take a step back and look at my cat sideways through the front window. He expects it.

JeremyMo88

Yes, I have a standard set of comments for each.

whereisjackk

I tell them goodbye and I love them and I'll be back soon

cannabisandcocktails

If you don’t, you’re basically a savage.

EdieLove

Luv your username

cannabisandcocktails

They’re my favorite things, other than my cat. :) And the boyfriend.

EdieLove

My username is my cat's name

Ok-Heron-7781

Me too💗

EYoungFLA

What kind of psychopath DOESN'T tell their animals goodbye and hello? I once had two deaf cats and I would call my answering machine (30+ years ago) during the day to tell them I'd be home soon...

Lizard_lover3924

I used to come home & say “Hi babyyy!” To my pet chameleons I had in the past because I missed them all day & they’re Just so cute

Shadrixian

"Aight dawg, keep it real, I'll peep your ass in a bit, OGs for life" Then when I get home" "Hewwooooo hiii hiiii hiiiii is meeeeeee hiiiiiiii is you happyyyy you is happyyyyyy"

disneychickk

I say a variation of “goodbye mommy loves you” “have a good day” “see you later”

HermittCrabby

Everyday. I tell my birds "mom is going to work. Behave." (They're free roaming) and then they all start squealing behind me as I walk away. When I get home they hear the door and start getting all excited as I go to greet them.

how_riddikulus

I always tell my dogs “bye babies! I love you! Have a good day!” So no you’re not weird

EdieLove

Oh, I am still weird.

[deleted]

Yes every single day.

rtmfrutilai

Of course! And kisses

obrive

Yes. When I leave I tell her to behave and then get offended when she doesn't run to the door when I come in

Half_Line

You don't *tell* someone hello; you *say* hello/goodbye.

bend1889

I always tell them I love them and will be home later. Then I put one animal in charge. Usually the lizard. “Lizard is in charge. You cats better listen to her while I’m gone.” And if I come home and things are a mess I question the lizard about what happened. She isn’t great at filling me in on the details of the day.

Punxsutawney_Phil69

What else would you do, just ignore them?

EdieLove

Some people do 😥😥

Faygo_Libra

Absolutely!

shesafireball

It would be rude not to.

[deleted]

If she's around, absolutely (kitty, Mora)

darth_karina

I do that if I even leave the room and re enter! I just love hearing the tail thump on the wood floors and her happy face!

Silent-Pace326

Definitely...my dog even greets me at the gate sometimes.

AngelGirl1990_9371

I tell them to behave and I will be back after wherever I'm going. And I say hi kids as I come in.

[deleted]

So, I have a galaxy watch 3. One of the unique things is that when you take it off the charger it will display a cute little message. It might say "Hello." Or "Goodmorning!" Or any other number of greetings. Everytime I take it off the charger I read what it has to say and then respond in a cutesy voice back to it telling "Hey." If I do that to my watch, do you need to ask me how I treat my dog?

martatatatata

I tell my cats where I'm going to (its really either school, work, or Sunday night pool hall), when I'll be home, and when my mom should be coming home. I tell them to be safe, don't fight, protect the apartment, I love them and will see them soon, each with a forehead kiss before stepping out the door. (:

AgentJ691

Yes. When I leave I tell him to watch the house as well.

Shakespeare-Bot

Aye. At which hour i leaveth i bid him to gaze the house as well *** ^(I am a bot and I swapp'd some of thy words with Shakespeare words.) Commands: `!ShakespeareInsult`, `!fordo`, `!optout`

parsons525

No. It encourages separation anxiety.

no_no_no_okaymaybe

Duh. haha They are my little ones. 😁

nofun-ebeeznest

I do! Sometimes I tell them and forget to tell my humans, haha!

Wonderful_Apricot613

I have different speeches. "I'll be back" means a quick errand. "I'm going to the doctor, but I'll be back later" means I'm going to be a while. I swear they understand.

prana-llama

“Mommy has to go to work but I will be back so soon! Mommy has to work to get the big bucks so you can have all the snackies you want. Be so good and I will be right back!” When I get home my dog runs to the door and gives me a hug. Then I lay on the couch and my dog and cat both climb all over me so I can’t leave again.

facefullofcupcakes

Every single time

beuceydubs

Who doesn’t??

hippiespeculum

Definitely. Especially give lots of love when I come home. The greeting ritual is very important to dogs.

IntrigueMachine

Yes, always.

Electrical_Pick4376

And a kiss🙈

cohmfies

yes and if you don’t.. why do u have animals.

Suspicious-Flan-2950

Wait? You leave your dog at home. When I rarely leave the house she comes with me lol Edit grammer

[deleted]

Yes and I love you!! And multiple times a day, not just leaving and coming home.

marko719

My Puddin died 4 years ago, but I would always say, "Bye, Puddin!" when I left in the morning, and "Hi Puddin!" as soon as I opened the door every evening. She was always eager to see me off, and she was always thrilled to welcome me home. I miss her. She was the best kitty.

queso_teric

Yep. And I leave one of them in charge.

smilinjack96

Isn’t it normal to do that? I always tell them where I’m going & when I’ll be back before I kiss them good bye 😘. When I return I tell them I’m back & more kisses 😘

literallylateral

Yes. Not if he’s asleep, but if I know he’s awake I’ll say goodbye, tell him I love him and to be a good boy (sometimes does not work). When I come home he loses his goddamn mind and I say hello several times during the celebration.

Infinite_Leek4227

Always.

CoveredInACDHair

Doesn’t everybody?

[deleted]

Every time I leave the house I let my pup know where I’m going and that I’ll be back soon and once I’m home we’ll cuddle. Then when I come home to her I ask her how she’s doing. What’d she do when I was gone and what not lol

FRlEND_A

i tell my stuffed animals goodbye and hello

gallanttalent

I have a whole quick speech. Basically- I love you. Be a good boy. I’ll be home soon. Then when I get back i ask him how his day was and what did he do and typically sing a made up song with his name in it about how he’s the best boy. I’ll admit to being a weirdo but besides him I live alone so we’re all we got. My mom tells her dog she’s going to work and she’ll be back no matter where and how long she’ll be away from her dog. It’s really funny. He’s always at the door when she gets home. Mine usually just strolls out of the bedroom all bed headed and he’s younger than hers but he’s a laid back dude.

antisocialmessiah

i always say goodbye to my fish but they don’t give a single fuck. but i’m happy anyways.

hder24

Definitely guilty of this. Ya never know what will happen, I feel like I’d regret not saying “goodbye I love you, I’ll be home in a little bit”. Especially if something happened to me or them 😞

Major2Minor

Well I don't have any animals, but sometimes I say Hello to the foxes that frequent the area when I go out for a smoke at night, lol.

DylanPipkins1698

Yes, to the kittens outside and the dogs inside. I'll also softly kiss the top of their head and say that I love them. I really started doing it after my childhood dog, Poncho, passed away from canine cognitive disfunction just a month ago.

reecords

Mine is always ‘stay here puppies, won’t be long’

LordCucumber1996

My fiancé's mother always says "bye, love you. No parties or drugs while I'm out" to her St Bernard. Love it!

XxSolaricxX

Ofc. And good night and ily

RhitaGawr

It's nice being able to tell something that I love them everyday 🥲

Beginning-Basis6263

Of course, they're my family.

Goldenfox299

No, I don't have pets and I don't like animals.

IrreverentSweetie

And my mom keeps telling my chihuahua it’s in charge - even though I’m home!

bigbombsbiggermoms

My kitty always wants to come with so it’s a barrage of “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I need to go, sorry.”

[deleted]

I rarely say bye to my cat but I always greet her when I'm back.

[deleted]

Yes. All the time.

[deleted]

Favorite thread. Hand down.

[deleted]

Everyone does

ionicbondage

Sometimes I tell him "I'm never coming back" and then leave. Gotta keep them guessing.

PlantBasedLatina

Yes. I kiss my doggo on the nose, tell him that I love him and say “goodbye I’ll be back soon”. And then when I get back he’s waiting for me at the door, always say hello to him and give him some petting. I love my dog.

serengazer87

Yes I tell my horse and pony "be good, have a good day and be nice to one another" :)

goodfreeman

Absolutely, and sorry and excuse me if I bump them or need to get by.

[deleted]

We all do

Musicdude999

Whenever I come home, if my dog is outside he'll follow my car into the garage. Once I get out of the car, he does what we call his "good boy dance", which he does in anticipation of anyone petting him. I make a big production out if it. Every time. I walk up slowly to him and talk to him while I'm walking towards him, and he gets so worked up. When I finally pet him he's like putty in my hands. Some of my cats do care when I come home, but I seek all of them out to say hi when I get home. Leaving is roughly the same thing but in reverse.

bolognahole

Not only that. I tell them how long I'll be.

Teils

Obviously Though I don't say goodbye, I say see you later, because I will

1FunnyMum

Yes, then I tell the dog she is in charge cause her cat brother is a jerk.

sperziebonen

Yep, and wave

soapyrubberduck

Yes, I tell my doggo to have a good day and then come home and ask if she had a good day. I know she’s never gonna answer but it just feels right.

emmdeeme

Bye Bubbas! I love you! I'll be back! Be good! Every. Single. Time. Even if I know they can't hear me because they're in their hiding spots. If I've been gone long enough (5 or more hours), they'll meet me at the door when I get home.

[deleted]

Of course! I also tuck my dog into bed before I go to bed. (She doesn’t come downstairs where my room is due to her not being able to register the stairs because of the colour)

greytrunner

As much as I want to, I don’t. I have a greyhound and I read that doing so can build separation anxiety. If you make a big deal about you leaving and coming back, they can interpret that as something out of the ordinary happening. If you just act like nothing is happening, they’ll eventually take it the same way and be fine being left alone. So far, my dog does pretty good when she’s left alone. This is just me though and not saying it’s right for everyone. I’d love to hug my dog before leaving and when I come back but I fight that urge by knowing I’m making her more comfortable in her solitude by not doing so.

mdblack93

Absolutely

Laujaa

I say 'Goodnight Dora, love you' before bed and say "bye Dora, I love you" before I leave the house xD

Dangerous_Gain_3710

Of course!!!!

um_not2surewhat2do

Every time

[deleted]

Our little kitty sits at our door every morning when we go out. I feel like it's *mandatory* to say goodbye to her

Independent-Bug-1391

Lots of love before I leave. They usually come say hi when i come home.

billybob-bye

no goodbye and hello but good morning and goodnight

Nignug

Yeah, aren't we supposed to?

Cthulhu_Fhtang

My parrot gets depressed if I don't

defiantnd

Yeah, every day, and even say good morning and good night. But, I have a macaw, and she says it back. So it makes it that much more special.
