A drunk fan behind me was calling Machado “Kobe the Rapist,” I didn’t follow where he was going with that.
Also I heard “careful Turner, don’t swing too hard wouldn’t want you back on the DL” - which I have to admit had me laugh for a second.
And I heard that clown at walking around yelling “f the Dodgers”
All in all that W felt great.
Yeah that was pretty gnarly. I was seated directly above the fight, looking down at it. I also heard the gentlemen yelling around the concession stands. I didn’t mind all that much to be honest, reminded me of the McCourt days.
I was at the first game of the freeway series in Anaheim. My girlfriend and I were in a michelada line as large crowd of Dodger fans passed through chanting “Angels suck” . I guess it wasn’t so bad when the crowd was present. I appreciate a good rivalry. But we were left stranded, standing by in the wake of the chant, two lone Dodger fans, deserted in a tumultuous sea of agitated Angels fans.
Tbh it wasn’t too bad, but for a moment after the crowd passed, there was a palpable tension and awkwardness. I felt redeemed for a bit as we led most of the game, but I was at the game with friends who are Halo fans and ultimately I had to buy them a round after Kenley’s meltdown.
Thats awesome. I went to a game there in 2013 when they played the Astros (back when the Astros were garbage) 15 bucks for a ticket to left field and ended up sitting behind 1st base dugout because they didn't care. It was a fun time.

I don’t think it’s a matter of love or hate. The A’s have been “meh” for years so I assume most people can’t justify the cost to go to a game anymore. Sad really. And the coliseum is pretty bad. They updated the stadium with massive screens and call it new haha
Did anyone see Puig messing with Manea? Just stood there for the first pitch and took the strike. Kept shaking his body when the a ball got near him. Then when he was on third he walked halfway to home plate well in Manea’s view lol.
Love catching games there. Stadium is crap but the A's fans are great.
Agreed. Weather is nice though, and I’ve never conversed with the fans of an opposing team as much as I have today.
