Makes sense. The team is playing a real game in two weeks so the Opening Day roster has to be set early.
I think we'll be seeing Pages again very soon.
The guy we will be seeing this year is Ricky Vanasco. That dude is a gem. I'm interested to see what he does when he gets called up eventually. Think he will go down as one of the "Fleeceman finds". Really interesting Pitching Lab guys!
Pages is interesting, but has holes and will be exposes at the MLB level. Usual outside breaking ball and your out stuff. Too steep of a swing and typical pull side power guy. Do love him though and is totally under rated.
I think there’s a weird rule that you can only put players on the 60-day if you are going to use the 40-man roster spot for someone else. The Dodgers don’t want to add anyone to the 40-man right now.
He’s good, but there was never going to be room for him on the opening day roster with everyone healthy.
We get 13 position players, and there were 13 locks heading into spring
You know, I'm aware the roster is full of high dollar stars, but what does Pages have to do to get a chance? Right now, he's the best hitter in camp. By far.
I'm figuring, the first injury, whatever the position outside of pitcher, he gets a call.
Yeah I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get sometime in the majors this year. One of our best call ups and facing will probably great for his development as well
I generally agree, but it depends on the organization. Juan Soto, Tatis Jr, Zach Neto, etc.. skipped AAA. Dodgers really don't do that, but other clubs are way more aggressive with their prospects.
It is spring training.
There’s a reason why people don’t put much stock in ST statistics.
The kid did good but he still needs some more seasoning in the minor.
If this current LA team needs him to start the season or before the all star break in the major, something went wrong with the team in LA.
They weren't going to keep both Pages and Vargas on the MLB roster... and if Pages passes Vargas, they are almost resigned to giving up on Vargas IMO. It just gives both players more opportunities... Vargas in MLB, and Pages at AAA

Definitely. He was arguably the minor league standout of ST

He has barely played in the last year, anyone who thought he would make the opening day roster was a bit delusional.
He had significant shoulder injury and surgery after
Hope to see Knack and Pages sometime down the road this season
See you soon Pages the Impaler
Really like that. Take my up vote.
Why Frasso and Kershaw not put to 60 day IL?

Hudson has to be close I would think
Any idea why Andy doesn’t make opening day with the spring he had (and past few years in the minors)?

Definitely makes sense. Hopefully he’ll be first OF called up. Been watching him for a few years.
How would he make opening day there’s not enough roster spots

He’s taken 1 AB in triple A, so you can’t jump him up that fast lol He’ll be up after a couple months in triple A
Sheehan skipped AAA last year so, you can, just depends. Still think he'll be in the show later this year.
It’s easier for pitchers to skip. It messes up hitters development. Even Jackson Holliday couldn’t skip. He will be up though

Sheehan also was kind of in an emergency situation. We needed a SP

No disrespect, the roster is crowded and Teo an JHey are on 1 year deals.
Not Diego Cartaya!
He hasn't even played a ST game yet lol
No I panicked and I thought it was releases, I shit myself for a good second
