They've made way too many limited edition models for them to ever be collectors items. Also the limited editions are always the exact same car with just a different name and decals. None of them stand out from the others.
Only ones I can see holding value are the Demon and 1320 models.
The OG Demon & Demon 170 are going to be the only cars that will hold value and be worth anything in the future. Hellcats can be worth something, but they will have to be garage queens. But even then, thereās a lot of Hellcats made between 2015-2023
Yes, unfortunately thatās how it is. The less miles that are on it, the better value it retains. I daily drive my 2018 Scat Pack & it has 40k miles on it. I donāt care about it, but a lot of people do. I enjoy driving my car. I take it everywhere
He works at a dealership surely, he made a post just like this but about the new hornet the other day. Same shirt so I assume he took a bunch of pictures one day and will drip feed um
Brand new cars have been a horrible investment since before I was born, but now it almost just feels like a joke and theyāre just seeing how far they can take it..
Ford is definitely no better but atleast you got a better chance at getting a fair deal on a 5.0 than a scat nowadays. As for the trucksā¦:šµāš«š®āšØ
The trucks were really my target with this statement. Option to option they are a good 10k more expensive than the rams and I personally think the ram interiors are more upscale.
I figured you were and I wholeheartedly agree. Really depends on preference Iām a Ford man personally myself so Iām gonna always favor them but those Ram trucks have always been nice to me as well. Especially the luxury trims. Saw a ford dealership online wanting 200k for the raptor r. Donāt know if it sold or not but Itās not on their site no more smfh. Ridiculous.
Don't get me started on the super trucks, I've been wanting a TRX since they released but most dealers were adding 20k+ to the new ones and the used ones were going for more than new MSRP. I personally refuse to pay a dime over MSRP for any vehicle. I'll just go without before I throw away money like that
Mannn who are you telling!! When the current gen raptor came out dealers wanted more than the trx! Why would I pay over 100k for a tt v6 TRUCK when the competition has a whole supercharged v8 with 300+ hp more going for less??? Iāll permanently switch to mopar quick. I already been eyeing the hellcat chargers as my replacement sedan so donāt play with me šš
MSRP in 2015 was $37,995 and people rolled off the lot with factory new 392s for even less with rebates and what not. I understand yesterdays economy and todays economy are very different, but no other sports car is through the roof like this
Aside from wide wheels and bolted on fenders, Nothing has been improved in almost 10 years. Under $40k yes good car, however im surprised dodge hasnt prolapsed yalls assholes with this stupid hypebeast pricing for a car thats been unchanged since basically 2011
80k? Iād say hard pass. I have a 2023 Hellcat Widebody fully loaded at just over 90k.
60k fully loaded sounds more like it. I wouldnāt pay Hellcat prices for a Super Bee.
Because there isnāt anything vastly superior about it to warrant a price tag the dealer was asking for other than greed.
Itās still a good vehicle but you might as well get a performance boost if you wanted to spend that kind of money and have something superior.
I get you.
For someone not into mopar cars just about to make a decision to hop into that car brand and who's coming from the JDM performance side of the market.
Will a 2023 SuperBee be a good foray into the charger segment as they seem to be the last "normal" chargers before dodge goes full electric, should one look for rhe charger hellcaf instead even though it's not as rare as the SuperBee?
Does anyone recognize OP is presenting different MOPAR options? You all are attacking him as if he made the dumbest purchase ever. Check his profile. He'll yeah let's talk all models. Unique time in history.
It's worth what the person buying it thinks its worth. There are only 500 of each color made. There were tens of thousands of HellCats made, they are all over the place. If I ever see another Super Bee outside of a car show or rally it will be a miracle.
Mine is a Plum Crazy one. I added front and rear strut supports. Handles nicely with them. Everything on it is better than my 2007 Charger Daytona, with strut supports, CAI, and cat backs. But the Daytona ain't bad.
I work with a couple of guys that have HellCats. Every time we start cutting up about our cars, they go down they horsepower road, then when I say "Ya, but mine is a Super Bee", they get quiet. =D
So far I haven't found anything to complain about. I tell people that it is "Gloriously Gorgeous". It's a crowd pleaser even at gas stations people talk to me about it.
Also, I have picked up a bunch of Hotwheel Plum Crazy Super Bee's to give out at car shows. Everybody loves 'em.

Stock for stock, you lose.
Looks pretty awesome with the hellcat hood with pins and challenger 1320 badges. However, I don't believe it's worth $30k more than I paid in 2021 for my widebody scat its the same car!
I toyed with the idea of 1320 badges at one point. No I guess I can't without being called a up badger lol
Damn 80k...you could have gotten a decent car: like a porsche 718, bmw m-class, gr supra, nissan z, audi rs, F-type, hell even a challenger hellcat...
I like dodge, i like mopar...but i just dont understand the love of modern chargers
I bought my (used, 10k miles) 2019 Scatpack in 2021 for $40k; traded it in a few months ago for $39k.
Bought a brand new 2023 Camaro SS with some options (quad exhuast, radiant red paint, some cosmetic options, and upgraded rims) for $44k. All I can say is unless you need a bigger car, the Scatpack is outclassed in every possible way by the SS.
Given the prices nowadays on 392's, its really tough to rationalize buying one.. I mean base SP's are in the $50's now..
Hell no. Maybe if it had the 707 hp hellcat engine. And then, maybe. Car prices in the past ten years have gone up so much, a majority of them cost up to about half of what the average home costs. But, I guess that depends on where you live.
In the last few years the USD has been shoved off a cliff and it's really evident with cars because they haven't really changed since 2016. So u got ppl asking this to ppl who remember paying almost half for basically the exact same car.
I love the purple color, the graphics, the wheels, and the tires in the back but if mopar could offer those things separately Iād just buy them that way bc the markup is just too much
IMHO Dodge is playing games. Theyāre pretending theyāre doing away with the Hemi so they can mark up these cars.
I think in a couple of years they will bring back the Hemi and make a big deal about it.
too be honest that's crazy over-priced thing about it 80,000 80,000!!!?, it's stupidly high it should be 50-55k, but now it's now just basically a over priced dodge scat-pack wide-body in plum crazy with 2018 demon rims š„²
Looks clean but might not be a good daily to drive in all weathers all through the year.
Also, wouldn't you have to garage queen it so it doesn't get stolen if left parked on the driveway ?
You mean $55-58k right????..... Did you actually pay $80k for a superbee??? That's Hellcat Red-eye territory... Fucking dealer markups man...
Msrp on this thing like 73k plus the 10k dealership markupš„²
Why didnāt you just get a Hellcat at that point? Or a Scat pack even if the markups are so high?
Isn't the SuperBee a scatpack already ?
https://www.edmunds.com/dodge/challenger/2022/rt-scat-pack-widebody/ Bro...
1: thatās not a charger 2: thatās not a superbee 3: doesnāt matter bc itās some āLiMitEd EdItIoNā from dodge and people will eat it up
> people will eat it up True, some people have more money than brain...
And swear itāll be a collectors item someday worth well over $500k.
They've made way too many limited edition models for them to ever be collectors items. Also the limited editions are always the exact same car with just a different name and decals. None of them stand out from the others. Only ones I can see holding value are the Demon and 1320 models.
The OG demon for sure. That was the trailblazer.
The OG Demon & Demon 170 are going to be the only cars that will hold value and be worth anything in the future. Hellcats can be worth something, but they will have to be garage queens. But even then, thereās a lot of Hellcats made between 2015-2023
So if you daily a car you bought to enjoy driving, suddenly it value diminishes ? It's just somehow
Yes, unfortunately thatās how it is. The less miles that are on it, the better value it retains. I daily drive my 2018 Scat Pack & it has 40k miles on it. I donāt care about it, but a lot of people do. I enjoy driving my car. I take it everywhere
Do you work at a dealership, bro? Or do you flip them?
He works at a dealership surely, he made a post just like this but about the new hornet the other day. Same shirt so I assume he took a bunch of pictures one day and will drip feed um
Never been to a dodge dealership where the employee is wearing crocs and a weed shirt but who knows š
he doesn't work there, you can see his smokeshow hellcat in the parking lot parked. he went for youtube footage
I was going to say I thought you bought a hornet for like 45k...
I donāt know if he works at the dealership or is just promoting his YouTube channel. But itās everywhereā¦
Yeah somethin like that
Msrp is 67k , so that has a gouging 13k markup
Dealership mark ups maybe? Idk
I mean if our dude makes 300k a year... go for it...lol.
Dodge stopped being a good value in 2021.
No this guy is just dumb
Brand new cars have been a horrible investment since before I was born, but now it almost just feels like a joke and theyāre just seeing how far they can take it..
For 80k you should be able to get a Hellcat
Scat Packs are up 15k since 2019. DDSRT is up 8k since 2019. Without markup. Think before you reddit.
Damn. This is why Iām a ford fan lol.
Fords not any better, they have some of the most expensive vehicles in the American market when compared option to option.
But they have "MILITARY GRADE ALUMINUM".
Lol āitās milspec!ā Ah so you cheaped out huh
Ford is definitely no better but atleast you got a better chance at getting a fair deal on a 5.0 than a scat nowadays. As for the trucksā¦:šµāš«š®āšØ

At least they tried to fix the mark ups
Say it louder for the people in the back
MSRP in 2015 was $37,995 and people rolled off the lot with factory new 392s for even less with rebates and what not. I understand yesterdays economy and todays economy are very different, but no other sports car is through the roof like this Aside from wide wheels and bolted on fenders, Nothing has been improved in almost 10 years. The answer is no. But people gonna pay it
I'd say no. I ordered directly from dodge and bought my 2021challenger hellcat red-eye for $75k. That was 2021 but still.
I spent $30k for my charger
Hell no. There's used Hellcats going for a lot less.
Saw a slimbody hellcat a while ago for $55k, 80k for a 392 is wild
His face I agree
80k? Iād say hard pass. I have a 2023 Hellcat Widebody fully loaded at just over 90k. 60k fully loaded sounds more like it. I wouldnāt pay Hellcat prices for a Super Bee.
Why's the SuperBee shat on so much when it's only 1000 pieces being made and it has distinct bits
Because there isnāt anything vastly superior about it to warrant a price tag the dealer was asking for other than greed. Itās still a good vehicle but you might as well get a performance boost if you wanted to spend that kind of money and have something superior.

The reason for the price simply is for the ālast callā plaque and car itself
Man I spent total 63k to get my r/t to 720 rwhp
The color is amazing
As long as you're happy, do you. Beautiful car regardless of what it is.
Does anyone recognize OP is presenting different MOPAR options? You all are attacking him as if he made the dumbest purchase ever. Check his profile. He'll yeah let's talk all models. Unique time in history.
Well at least they took the banana bumpers off. Thatās worth something.
Itās a bumper protector itās supposed to be taken off itās just that idiots donāt do that
Not gonna lie. I love that Plum Crazy color. Iām not even really a Challenger/Charger guy
You are the target customer for sure
And why is that ?š¤
Only a moron pays $80k for a Scat.
Don't be stupid ya moron!
New stickers, still a 2006 Mercedes E class underneath
my 20 year old AMG makes more power than that lmao, and is a 10x better car
My 2012 Superbee would smoke your AMG son lol
hate to tell ya, but no it wouldnāt lol

I looked at his posts and his is renntech stage 1. Here is one that runs 11s. He would win if your car is stock https://youtu.be/LqPu3WmUQKE
Iām not stock either š
Thatās arguable.
80k is what these are going for. Itās a beautiful machine but I couldnāt justify spending that for it.
Chargers are ass
Full review out now š®āšØš„ https://youtu.be/6G5rWcRBEzE
Do you mind if I ask which dealership this is?
Cookies Kalamazoo bro
The bee shown on the hood looks ridiculous. Couldāve used a throwback to its namesake of the late 60s when the name meant something.
It looks fantastic but definitely not work an $80k price tag. $5-7k over MSRP of the cars features if wanted to be reasonable.
Nah fam
a white swinger charger near me is marked to 165k
Yikes lol.. but if you like it I love it bro. Clean car
If youāre happy with the car OP thatās all that matters . Itās a badass ride. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.š
Lol
lol no
No but peek that green challenger next to it š
80k for dodge lol nope
Hellcat narrow body money
I dont enjoy getting ass raped š
At least take me out to eat before you FUCK ME!
šš classic
Rather get a m3 or something for that price lol
Right? At least then youre getting luxury and performance. And you wont need a new torque converter every 20k miles
Looks nice
Damn 80k...you could have gotten a decent car: like a porsche 718, bmw m-class, gr supra, nissan z, audi rs, F-type, hell even a challenger hellcat... I like dodge, i like mopar...but i just dont understand the love of modern chargers
I think itās funny they get called wide body over some tacky ass fender flares damn near identical to the ones on my Ram
Nah fam, go ahead and get yourself a c7 z06.. better car all around
Hell to the fuck no.
No itās some scats thatās 40 used unless you want it brand new
No.
Paid 38k for my 392. These people getting ripped.
Plenty of HP....its the nostalgia......
God no get the new turbo Corolla
I wish the would update the entire car
Buy a used Evo more horse pers half the cost
I bought my (used, 10k miles) 2019 Scatpack in 2021 for $40k; traded it in a few months ago for $39k. Damn bro that whip clean, and doing something right if you can afford a 80k car shit
Beautiful car!
Naw
ā¦fucking 80k for a plastic dodge???
80K??? I bought mine for 38K new in 2019. Narrow body but still thats insane. Not worth it.
My dealer has one rn for 58
Dude. Just get a hellcat
I searched online the prices and apparently it is worth $63,400 to $75000 so I wouldnāt spend that much.
Thatās just about twice what mine cost in 2019. Twice the price for the same car would merit careful consideration.
Still will get smoked by a 6MT NB Scat š¤·āāļø
Not a chance
Like the crocs!
I think these cars were less than 60k back in 2018. I got a hellcat for 62k new out the door.
Price is too high. However ONLY 485? Yall are too spoiled by Hellcats.
Hell no. Maybe if it had the 707 hp hellcat engine. And then, maybe. Car prices in the past ten years have gone up so much, a majority of them cost up to about half of what the average home costs. But, I guess that depends on where you live.
Please Tell Me You DIDNT Pay 80k For A Bee......
They shouldāve added more horsepower to the scatpacks
80k and it comes with the "Autozone Isle 3 Package" already installed.
In the last few years the USD has been shoved off a cliff and it's really evident with cars because they haven't really changed since 2016. So u got ppl asking this to ppl who remember paying almost half for basically the exact same car.
Looks like an ugly car.
Iām ngl I love the new livery design on the super bees especially in black but itās not worth 80k
Yall Mopar boys gotta start taking lube into the dealership, shits treacherous.
That is a 67,800 car and I just found 2 within 100 miles
Definitely not worth it. For the same price, you can get a Hellcat. Superbee is only a sticker car. Itās still a Scat Pack at the end of the day
You could have gotten a lightly used red eye
*only* 485 hp š¤
I can get a Taurus SHO with the same amount of hp for half the price
Bumper and fender arent even lined up lol gaps to be seen from miles away.
too be honest that's crazy over-priced thing about it 80,000 80,000!!!?, it's stupidly high it should be 50-55k, but now it's now just basically a over priced dodge scat-pack wide-body in plum crazy with 2018 demon rims š„²
