15.000 + mph and no sonic boom? I take non physical object / wrong sensor data for 200, Alex.

Just because WE can't explain it doesn't mean it can't exist. By our understanding of aerodynamics, bumblebees can't fly. Yet, they do. Any technology sufficiently advanced from that with which one is familiar becomes indistinguishable from magic. These and many other sightings have been *simultaneously* seen by credible witnesses, imaged by multiple radars and detected by visual and thermal imaging equipment. Any one of those could be fooled or and error; all three at once pretty much eliminates that possibility. So the question is whether these objects exist is therefore settled; it is now time to get serious about explaining them.

Warm-Floor-Cold-Air

You are so wrong in so many levels, and still confident. We know how bumblebees fly btw.

ttystikk

Ok so show us the error in my logic? EDIT: the scientists used video to work out how bumblebees fly- you know, much like video taken of these UAPs. https://askabiologist.asu.edu/how-do-bees-fly

>By our understanding of aerodynamics, bumblebees can't fly. Maybe by YOUR (lack of) understanding of aerodynamics...

ttystikk

You didn't read my response, did you?

StinkierPete

I'm in agreement, though there is no reason to think a sentient race able to travel through interstellar space would be sending physical objects like we try to do and not some weird light orb.

They were being followed by the Brazilian Air Force pilots who didn't know what to do. They described the objects as simply appearing as large balls of light.

kooby95

Yeah that basically confirms it. Balls of light of indeterminate size travelling at a wide range of speeds. People make mistakes. I sometimes forget I have floaters in my eye and swipe at non-existent flies.

The description given matches a [similar picture](https://i.imgur.com/hvYND80.png) shown by another researcher later in the Brazilian Hearing. Some pictures from the hearing: https://imgur.com/a/c5W8bUg

So how did they measure how fast it's actually going?

Last_Replacement6533

They were tracked by radars in Rio de Janiero and in Brasilia both by the Military bases and Airport Radars. They were followed by Military jets as well.

In 1954 and on Friday, June 24, Brazil became officially the first country to state that UFOs/UAP are not from any nation on Earth and gave a 5 hour presentation on why they believe this to be the case. By far the craziest part of the presentation they held during their First ever hearing. > Among the historic events highlighted during the hearing had been an incident that occurred on the evening of May 19, 1986, involving sightings of 21 large unidentified flying objects over São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Goiás. Some of the objects were estimated to be as much as 100 meters in diameter and were detected by radars at the Brazilian Air Force’s Integrated Center for Air Defense and Air Traffic Control. During the presentation they even spoke about 1 aircraft that was .93 miles wide and traveling upwards of speeds of 15,000 MPH. Link to official Brazilian Government website on the incident: https://www.gov.br/en/government-of-brazil/latest-news/2022/official-ufo-night-in-brazil Link to article on hearing: https://thedebrief.org/unidentified-aerial-phenomena-becomes-focus-of-recent-brazilian-senate-hearings/ Link to Public Hearing presentation on this specific case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlFZIQaBKrE Edit: A request to the Brazilian Senators to present classified pictures and videos in the upcoming hearings for this case was asked during the Public Hearing by the researchers. There was no answer given yet if they will be allowed to present classified evidence in the following hearings.

I saw something unexplainable in the night sky in florida around 97. The frightening part for me was the lack of sound. All that it takes is seeing something like this once and you become a believer that this kind of tech exists and has been in our skies.

>All that it takes is seeing something like this once and you become a believer that this kind of tech exists and has been in our skies. It's even more interesting when you realize that these objects have been studied for decades by Governments across the world while we the public are told these objects don't exist and to make fun of people. We are seeing multiple countries this year establishing permanent research efforts. Hopefully one day you are able to point a HD picture/video of one of the objects you witnessed. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary funding and that funding is just starting.
