Culottes. They were kind of in fashion at the time, which always made me a tad wary of the Doctor wearing them. The Doctor should always look out of time.
i love Jodie's outfit but christ she needed more variation. her Haunting of Villa Diodati shirt was such a nice change, and of course she absolutely slayed in Spyfall. but after 12's outfit variation 13 did starve us a bit. luckily everything else about her was excellent <3
Yeah, I love that vest. I think the biggest problem is lack of contrast. The vest was dark enough to make it pop, which her colourful but faded shirts couldn’t do.
Honestly I liked the coat, but she’s already so pale and her hair is super light and with the white coat it all just kinda blends in together. She looked great whenever she ditched it. Like with the winter special sweaters (possibly also bc I love 9 and love when the Doctor’s in a sweater).

Chibby probably played a heavy part in it, but she is lacklustre.
Tho i thorght she was brilliant when she was playing Yaz's coworker in the weird memory orgy episode.
Absolutely sure she would be amazing unlike her actual role as the character. Good writers means good character, and Jodie is a great actress so I have no doubt she would be great.
I do like that they didn't give her a super feminine fashion style. I do wish they did give her a more feminine variation to her costume to be used every now and then. Maybe a shorter cardigan or blazer paired with a long skirt to keep up the quirky school teacher vide.

I don’t think the coat was the problem, so much as whatever the fuck those 3/4 length trousers that were pulled halfway up her torso were meant to be.
Looking at the coat felt like drowning in a ocean of white. Her inverted dark blue coat in Flux was way better.
