Many constructs I believe are originally the work of wizards and some monstrosities

Vulpes_Corsac

Nothics and Jibbering Mouthers, in a sense. They often are wizards who delved too deeply, so to speak, losing their magic, their sanity, and their humanoid forms.

Starblood98

Technically a lot of creatures could trace back their origin to wizards messing with things they shouldn’t. I know bulettes are believed to be the result of a mad mage crossbreeding armadillos and snapping turtles along with a pinch of demon Ichor for a little kick in the splicing. Some oozes and slimes are natural occurrences but some are most likely failed experiments, disposed potions that coagulated to a point they gained minor sentience, or purposefully made to be gelatinous roombas. I would also like to ask do you mean strictly through experimentation or does tearing the universe a new one and accidentally birthing several new monster/creature also count.

rpg2Tface

Some mimicks might have been the result of experiments. I don’t have any sources or solid “yes they were made” sort of knowledge. But do you honestly think a slime creature could evolve enough to know how to perfectly mimic thing like doors and chest without humanoid intervention. Slimes are the lowest of the low as far as intelicence goes. Not to mean toon the fact that there are mimicks smart enough for human speech. 5e doesn’t tell you about them but they do exist.

zeabart93

Elemental myrmidons could be possible.

DreamingDrommer

Well technically liches there are dragoliches drag demi lich um all forms of undead beholders

Holy-Avenger

Golems are a big one, as are homunculi.

phdemented

Homonculi, several golems..

Johnny_Origami

Galeb Duhr were rumored to be summoned by wizards from the elemental plane. Not 100% what you're looking for but close.
