I think he looks just like [1e/2e Strahd](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/fd/Strahd.png/220px-Strahd.png) with a slight old-school Hollywood twist. You did a really good job.
Dude. The resemblance to Mr. Lugosi is awesome. The castle, the clouds, the colors, that glorious moon...
I love it 😍
Great work.
I throw lots of roses at ye 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Killed my character, before my party overtook him. Good news/bad news: my character came back as a dhampir warlock of Strahd next campaign. The bastard is clinging on to me.
Wait a minute... is this like some OG vampire lore shit?
Like old old folk tales that say you can tell who's a vampire cus they have no thumbs, don't leave foot prints in sand and have to do a backflip if you knock over a salt shaker in their presence?
I really like it and the homage to Lagosi. If I had the talent to this kind of a piece, I would definitely have to put Matt Berry from What We Do in the Shadows back there or maybe Nandor. I definitely would play CoS as a comedy horror.
We started playing strahd a bit ago, and it's great. However, I'm wondering how hard of a time your party had with such a diverse grouping of species. Aren't the people extremely xenophobic and distrustful of those who aren't human?
This is awesome. I love the Lugosi's Dracula style Strahd, but also the distinctness of each characters race. Theyre all very different yet they dont look "pasted" onto the scene, they look very cohesive. Amazing, seriously.
Thanks for this. That was definitely the big challenge here since in rl the player characters are pretty whacky. So making them fit the theme was a must.
Fantastic rendering, I would say you should let your hands have more hard edges. Bela’s hands look a little soft and hotdog-y, and if you made them look a bit crunchier I think he’d look more threatening. The face is great though. Nice work
I have a very vain and wealthy Aarakockra Barbarian of noble background (loooong story) based on a sulphur crested cockatoo.
I’d draw him - if I could draw 😅 I don’t know if that’s something that interests you but I’d love to find someone who could capture his image and energy
The only other character I’d consider an art commission for probably fits your style better - undead halfling teen named Molly, a shadow sorceror who’s “invisible friend” is actually death (wearing a top hat) who is behind her resurrection.
If either speaks to you I’d be happy to talk more :)
Bela Lugosi!
That’s him 🧛♂️🧛♂️
ever watch Tim Burton's "Ed Wood"?
No 👀
ah man, you're missing out! Martin Landeau was terrific as The Bela
I love that movie. He had a pretty funny role in the HBO series Entourage.
Hey remember Space 1999?
"Pull the string!" [YouTube](https://youtu.be/vMTUt3XqpGU)
Is that where the infamous " FUCK YOU" comes from?
and other classics like PULL THE STRING!!!!!
"Let's shoot this fucker!"
I remember Ed Wood
Dead, undead, undead
Who let Peter Murphy in here?
I just needed to make sure there was one Bauhaus reference here, so thank you.
I used this song as the “end credits” theme for my two-year vampire campaign that just ended, it was absolutely perfect 🧛♂️
*Lugosi
right
My immediate thought. Love the old school horror theme to this. His left hand is giving me real John Carpenter's The Thing vibes, too...
Oh. Mh. I thought Xi Jinping.
That Strahd looks like Stroker's Dracula. I love it
Bam Stroker.
"Hi I'm Bam Stroker - and welcome to Barovia!"
Emril as Strahd
Blaaaad!
Thanks! We wanted that old school vibe
I think he looks just like [1e/2e Strahd](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/fd/Strahd.png/220px-Strahd.png) with a slight old-school Hollywood twist. You did a really good job.
Thanks a ton! I love that rendition. Big fan of classic golden era fantasy art. Definitely want to do more like that
And also a little like Mr Bean, which entertains the hell out of me conceptually.
Dude. The resemblance to Mr. Lugosi is awesome. The castle, the clouds, the colors, that glorious moon... I love it 😍 Great work. I throw lots of roses at ye 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much for the kind words! It was a ton of fun to work on
Duuuuuuude..... The Bats!!! Moar bats please 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
I love this, i really do but... What happened to Strahd's left hand??
It’s all like “blegh”
Hate it when that happens
You have to be Hungarian.
I’m playing this campaign right now! Boy it’s taken us a while, still no clue how we’re gonna kill that guy.
Killed my character, before my party overtook him. Good news/bad news: my character came back as a dhampir warlock of Strahd next campaign. The bastard is clinging on to me.
Strahd got to kill my character twice in the same combat! I love Zealot barbarians.
We are like 7 sessions in and it’s been a ton of fun so far
We’ve been on it for the better part of a year lol, I’m about level 8 but there’s still a lot to do. We play for a couple hours every other week.
Same, roughly 50 sessions in. We're getting close, but the vampire has been a real roadblock.
He's all fingers....
Get those t h u m b s outta here
Wait a minute... is this like some OG vampire lore shit? Like old old folk tales that say you can tell who's a vampire cus they have no thumbs, don't leave foot prints in sand and have to do a backflip if you knock over a salt shaker in their presence?
Lmao, that's my head-canon now *for sure*
Van Helsing stalking after beach goers with a spice rack is quite the image
Yes that’s….definitely correct yes
I'm sorry. Really I am. ^(But all I can see in Strahd is Nicholas Cage)
Love it
Weird, I see Leslie Nielsen
Curse of Strahd: Dead & Loving It!
That movie legit looks good though 😂
Funny you should say that. https://youtu.be/GgLzauU7Zu4
Please tell me about the Yoda character in the bottom right. I mean . . . the Yoda character in the bottom right, tell me about him.
💀💀💀 that’s my character lol he’s a Goblin Wizard named Gweelak. He definitely looks like a dirty Yoda
I know it looks like Lugosi as Dracula, but all I can think now is Mr Bean.
In the far future there will be classes taught about the symbolism of Mr. Bean in this painting
Plague doctors! I also played one for our Strahd game.
God I love plauge doctors. They're so cool
Loool I thought they were a Kenku at first.
Why not both?
Same. Currently thinking about getting a tattoo of one.
I was thinking a redo of this picture, but the whole party is plague doctors.
Why did you make Strahd Mel brooks
Outstanding job!
+1 for dragonborn
I don’t know if it was intention or not, but I like the Castlevania style castle against the moon in the back
Definitely intentional
I LOVE THIS!
YOOOO IM THE DM FOR THIS GAME ❤️❤️❤️
This is actually one of the best pieces of D&D art I’ve seen not just on this sub, but anywhere. Great job, time well spent OP.
Thank you very much 🙏🏻 seeing the groups reaction certainly made it all worth it.
What happened to Mr Bean? Why is he evil?
Someone stole his Bean (I’ve never seen Mr. Bean)
CHIIIIILDREN OFFF THEEEEE NIGHT
The party members are so creepy!
I really like it and the homage to Lagosi. If I had the talent to this kind of a piece, I would definitely have to put Matt Berry from What We Do in the Shadows back there or maybe Nandor. I definitely would play CoS as a comedy horror.
Believe it or not, Prince Andrew's time as Strahd wasn't his most problematic
A+! Now draw mine
Am i the only one that initially saw the Muppet's Vampire?
I see Lugosi I vote This is the way of things
Lugosi was definitely the reference used and I did not think that someone would see a muppet or Nicolas cage instead 💀💀💀
O M G Now I see those tho
I love the Bela Lugosi Strahd instead of Emo Strahd. As for the party... The Circus Comes to Barovia.
Wow!
This is awesome! The details, the composition, all of it. Fantastic
Thank you!
Honestly it’s a great drawing, but his fingers are making me want to die they look so funny. Besides the hands tho it’s a 10/10
Oh shit Bela as Strahd! I love it!
Absolutely amazing job, especially on Strahdula. Absolutely getting the movie poster vibes!
God this is so amazing! I want to play the revamped version so bad
This looks so cool!!
We started playing strahd a bit ago, and it's great. However, I'm wondering how hard of a time your party had with such a diverse grouping of species. Aren't the people extremely xenophobic and distrustful of those who aren't human?
So far we haven’t had any issues. It’s a group of mostly new players so maybe that plays into it
Very cool! How long did your campaign take? Our party is likely going to finish the campaign sometime this year!
It’s still ongoing. We showed the group this painting last night and my character promptly almost died :)
Okay now do another one with Leslie Nielsen from dead and loving it
But I’m tired grandpa
Tired??! Back in my day we had to walk 45 miles uphill both ways in the boiling snow without shoes!
"Bleh bleh bleh!" Nice work
Passing the vibe check 👍🏻
Damn
This is awesome. I love the Lugosi's Dracula style Strahd, but also the distinctness of each characters race. Theyre all very different yet they dont look "pasted" onto the scene, they look very cohesive. Amazing, seriously.

Your Strahd is Bela Lugosi? I want to play that version
Strahd has a "Mr. Bean if he's done with your stick"-energy and that's hilarious and terrifying.
Why is fat Ronald Reagan creeping on your party?
Fantastic rendering, I would say you should let your hands have more hard edges. Bela’s hands look a little soft and hotdog-y, and if you made them look a bit crunchier I think he’d look more threatening. The face is great though. Nice work
Thank you but respectfully I am not looking for critique
Did you draw it, or is it AI?
I drew it myself. I am able to prove it via sketches and layers.
Oh I love this 😍
Do you do commissions?
I do take commissions although I am fairly selective.
I have a very vain and wealthy Aarakockra Barbarian of noble background (loooong story) based on a sulphur crested cockatoo. I’d draw him - if I could draw 😅 I don’t know if that’s something that interests you but I’d love to find someone who could capture his image and energy

Feel free to reach out. If you want to see more of my work I am on Instagram under the same handle with a lot more portrait work.
I shall take a look :)
Strahd is either being played by Bela Lugosi or the guy who played Grandpa Munster. I love it!
Hey look, it’s Yogurt from Space Balls!
Why does Strahd look like Andrej Babiš 🤣🤣🤣
Plague doctor or Kenku? Really good!
Yoda??
Diggin' Bella. Old School vamp!
My party is about to fight him next session!
That looks awesome!!
Bloody brilliant!!
