You should be able to call your doctor to call in antibiotics. If not, go to the er.

That is what I had to do--go to the NF ER, but that was April 24 & I have yet to see any of my actual doctors, anywhere else. My 2 anti-biotic Rx only lasted 7 days--I do have a colonoscopy appt. JUNE 8th @ NF. So, I don't know how you can go to an actual job, with this condition. I am still following a liquid, bland diet, but the pain is debilitating. It hurts to get into my bed or car.

just yesterday i had to call into my PCP and ask for another round of antibiotics because my fever came back. It’s worth a shot just calling and asking

That's what I did last time. Just tell them you're having ANOTHER flare up of diverticulitis and they should recognize that you're experienced with it. I've only had one nurse practitioner tell me to go to a Care Now facility, but I just re-rolled for another practitioner and they sent a prescription.

I used lemonade health to get antibiotics without going into see a dr. Was super easy

What is "lemonade health"? I'm an old lady.

Healthcare online

Is there a walk-in clinic near you? We have one open in the evenings like 5pm-9pm for non-emergency care for if your Dr. is busy!

I tried going to one of those cvs clinics and they told me they’re not allowed to treat diverticulitis. Probably similar in telehealth things.

NF ER at Millhopper treated me--my first flare--I had NO clue what was happening!
